I contacted Slidegood, Inc several times requesting information about how to return the item. They finally got back with me and said send them a picture and they would tell me how to return it. That didn't happen. I just paid to have the item returned to them, rather than throw it away with a letter requesting that they refudn my money. That was on 5/17/21......... never heard from them and don't expect to ever hear from them. Needless to say I will never order anything from them or Ebay again.

Every time I connect, I need to first put the truck with the trailer in a downhill position in order to get the safety latch down in the closed position. When disconnecting, I need to tap on the thumb latch with a hammer while jacking up the tongue. If they use such cheap couplers on a good trailer (saving maybe $30) who is to know where else they are using cheap or inferior materials.... Decks? Axles, I mean come on people use parts and pieces that work.

I called the guy (ended up being the owner's son) to tell him and he tried to tell me how to operate the climate control! I brought it back the next day and the owner and a technician looked at it for 5 minutes and then decided my vehicle was defective prior to me bringing it in to them. Other than no control over the climate control, I couldn't open the back hatch, an interior light would stay on, a tire pressure sensor came on, traction control warning light came on. The son was a complete jerk being condenscending and insulting to me and being sarcastic when I would ask him to explain to me in detail what needed to get done to resolve this problem. Same with the owner saying I was lying to them when I said nothing was wrong with my vehicle until they touched it. I lived with this for a week!! My windows would fog up!! I was either freezing or sweating from the system turning on an off whenever it did whatever it wanted. I could hear a clicking sound. I took it to my mechanic and he disconnected it and guess what? EVERYTHING was back to normal. My issue with Four Star is that they refused to think they messed it up. They said it was my fault. SEVERLY poor customer service. No one would listen to me. They took it out and I got all my money back. That was the absolute least thing they could do for me after this horrible experience with them.

Through the ad, other internet research, and dealing with salesguy John Storkamp, I was able to put together a long-distance deal on a creampuff of a coach with low mileage (from 2000 miles away). John went above the call of duty to video phone me and walk me through the coach step by step, point out any problems, send me photos of the problems, and then had all of the problems fixed once I put down a refundable deposit. He even had the coach A/C unit replaced and replaced one of the passenger side graphic swirl stickers, as well as having the generator serviced. Sounds crazy but my lovely bride & I flew a redeye to MN after making a solid (but refundable) deal from 2000 miles away. Saved about $13000 from inflated SoCal prices. John had the coach ready to rock upon our arrival. The deal was great, with no surprises. We then took a 4000 mile roadtrip home across 'MERICA around Independence Day, via Jellystone Nat'l Park, The Tetons, Jackson Hole, Cheyenne, Santa Fe, etc, with no problems. Several months have passed now with only routine issues. Just wanted to tip the hat to John & Pleasureland RV for the excellent transaction.
