Great service and great food! Totally enjoyed the experience and live music. Very diverse menu with great choices.

Our waiter Seegi was great. The atmosphere was wonderful. We enjoyed our meal and listening to the music. We were surprised by the cheese cake for my aunts birthday. It was delicious. Absolutely will be back.

This is my absolute favorite place for happy hour - the drink specials are great, but the food is even better. Thursday and Friday night are a special treat because they have live jazz playing the absolute best music. The last time I went, we were a party of seven and they still managed to get us seated in less than 30 minutes - - and martinis is always crowded. The staff is so friendly and professional and so are their customers... I think positive vibes may be a requirement for entry lol Food 5/5 - best mussels in nmb, everything seasoned well and cooked to perfection Ambiance 5/5 - fair trade off between hustle/bustle and pleasant music Prices 5/5 - very reasonable, HH prices are even more generous Service 5/5 - loved our server- very attentive and friendly. Same for the hostess

Looks can be deceiving. From the outside this place looks like a dive bar. Inside it's dark and moody. The night we were there had an actual lounge singer, it was really cool. They had martini specials that night and we took advantage! My hubby had the prime rib, I had the chicken and we shared class in wine sauce. The food was delicious! We left stuffed! We also had a fantastic waitress. If you're in Myrtle Beach, give it a try!

We really enjoyed our first visit to Martini. The service was wonderful. We were lucky enough to have a lovely server named Michaela or Mikayla (unsure on spelling), and she was so attentive and personable. We never had to wait long for her to return, and she was so sweet, she really added to our experience. The ambience was nice, not too loud. There was a musician playing jazz, but we weren't seated close enough to him for it to be too loud. The lighting was quite dim. So it was very romantic but maybe not the best for reading menus. We started with a Shrimp Cocktail, which was delicious. I know it's hard to mess up a shrimp cocktail so the bar isn't terribly high, but we're big shrimp cocktail connoisseurs, and we were very pleased with this one. It consisted of 8 moderately big shrimp, and some very flavorful cocktail sauce. I got the House Salad which was very nice, but nothing spectacular (though I don't expect much from a house salad). It was nicely chopped with salami, tomatoes, feta cheese, and a light homemade Italian dressing. The breadstick was underwhelming but it made a great vehicle for scooping up the last of the dressing. My date got the New England Clam Chowder, which was quite yummy. Nice chunks of clam and potato, well seasoned, very comforting. For my entree, I ordered the Twin Lobster Tails. It was fresh and hot and served with drawn butter and a charred lemon, which I always think is a nice touch. The texture was great, and the lemon and butter were delicious, simple complements. Maybe not the most magnificent lobster I've ever had, but I was definitely not disappointed. I ordered it with a side of the Garlic Mashed Potatoes. I wouldn't say they were super garlicky, but the flavor was great, nice and savory. It had some bits of red potato skin and small potato chunks throughout, giving it a delightful texture. My date ordered the Martini Fettuccine, and he was just whelmed by it (not overwhelmed or underwhelmed). It was a good dish, yummy and hearty, but somewhat unremarkable. A good solid pasta dish. We got the Tiramisu for dessert, and again it was lovely but not the best tiramisu I've had. It was very cold so it did feel like it had been made a while ago (or maybe even store bought) and kept in a fridge or freezer. The flavors were sweet and coffee-y, but I was disappointed but the use of Cool Whip (or some other whipped dessert topping) as the accompaniment. I think some simple whipped cream would have paired better since the tiramisu was already so sweet. Lastly, the cocktails were wonderful, which is to be expected at a restaurant called Martini. We tried the Blue Cheese martini, and I got mine extra dirty. It was wonderfully savory and flavorful, definitely yummy if you like a blue cheese olive martini. My favorite part of the evening, though, was the Melt Away martini I got for dessert. Caramel vodka, butterscotch schnapps, a caramel drizzle, and a salt rim. I was intimidated by the use of the salt rim, but it paired so well with the sweetness of the cocktail. I won't mention how many of those we ordered...

Chicken Parmesan with Fettuccine Alfredo- my go to every time!

Our…read moreserver, Tara, was particularly noteworthy for her exceptional knowledge, professionalism, and affable demeanor. These qualities set a high standard for the overall dining experience. While the pricing at 21 Main may be comparable to that of a fine dining restaurant in New York City, it is important to consider that it is one of the few establishments in Myrtle Beach that offers such an experience. This distinction helps to mitigate the high cost. We began our meal with a shared tuna tower, which was of excellent quality. It was evident that the fish used was sushi grade, fresh, and delectable. We also shared a side of broccolini, which was enjoyable but not exceptional. I opted for the Chilean sea bass, which is consistently excellent. Although I am not a fan of Beurre blanc, I was offered compounded garlic butter as an alternative. However, upon reviewing the bill, we discovered an unexpected upcharge. In my opinion, 21 Main should reconsider this practice, especially considering that the ingredients are not significantly different. My husband had the NY strip steak, which was satisfactory, but it was not served at the requested medium-rare temperature. Instead, it was closer to medium. A steakhouse, particularly of this caliber, should not make such an error. The meal concluded with an espresso, which was excellent and served piping hot. Despite the occasional shortcomings, 21 Main remains a favorite dining destination. I hope that the owners will take the time to read this review and consider the feedback provided.

Benny's is a true find. Upon entering we were happily greeted and sat at the bar first for a cocktail. We enjoyed looking at the wine wall enclosed in glass a nice feature. Our bartender was very personable, and we enjoyed seeing the lite up menus for both specialty cocktails and dinning. What a GREAT idea a lite up menu. We then were seated in the main dining area with perfect lighting for a quite romantic dinner. We loved the music in the dining area of Frank Sinatra and the Rat Pack as well as the beautiful mural of the Rat Pack, Marylin Monroe and Liz Talyor. Our server did an awesome job explaining the specials on the board as well as letting us know that if we didn't see something specific on the menus we wanted, they could arrange to have it cooked. We loved the fried calamari appetizer and enjoyed the garlic bread along with the house salads. Our appetizer, salads and meal were perfectly timed coming out. Our service did a wonderful job making us feel at home and not rushed at all. Our entrees were also wonderful. We are so glad we found this place only 30 minutes from our new home in Sunset Beach. The stuffed banana peppers were among the best appetizers I've ever tasted -flavorful and cooked perfectly. I ordered the veal marsala medium rare, but it was initially served rare and too difficult to eat. I sent it back and the second preparation was much better. We went on a Thursday night which is probably less busy than a Friday or Saturday night. We sat inside this time and we started with some fried green tomatoes which had blue cheese sauce on top. I actually loved it better than the usual aoili most places serve with FGT. I got the ribeye this time, medium rare and some creamed spinach. My steak was prepared as requested. Flavorful and delicious. The creamed spinach was also good. My entrée did come with a salad as well. I had the Ceasar which came with a flaky, buttery mini croissant. My husband thoroughly enjoyed his burger. Last but not least, I ordered the molten chocolate cake. Sadly, I was a bit disappointed as the molten part was really only some thick chocolate sauce on top of a slightly warmed (maybe via microwave) chocolate cake. The place was exactly as I remembered it. Service was quick and friendly and even though we were seated inside, we still had a great view of the marina and some parts of the water. I will always come back to Clark's for steak next time I am back in the area.

We started with the crab dip appetizer and the bacon-wrapped scallops. The crab dip was just okay, while the scallops had such a heavy bacon flavor that you could not taste the scallops themselves. I chose the entrée salad with shrimp and hot bacon dressing, and it was awful. I definitely won't order it again. The "hot bacon dressing" didn't have even a smidgen of bacon in it -- it was basically flavored water. The service was fine, but overall the food was disappointing.

I figured he will like the old clubby atmosphere of Thoroughbreds plus they have great wine and an excellent burger. We got there a few minutes before 4:30 and waited in the car until they opened up. Now I haven't been here in a few years, but it looked exactly the same... bar to the left as you come in, with multiple dining rooms scattered throughout, some with a fireplace some without, all of it projecting private club with a southern flair. It's decorated well. We sidled up to the bar, where we were the first two patrons there and sat at the end. The bartender was attentive and quickly came over with menus and asking for a drink order. I ordered my father a nice glass of Pinot Noir and a seltzer water for myself and then quickly began reading the menu. Thoroughbreds has a happy hour menu that is served at the bar and a more extensive full menu served at the bar and in the dining rooms. I settled on the burger with fries for my father, with no cheese or other accoutrements that is always served on a pretzel bun. It comes with Gruyère cheese, lettuce, tomato and onion...that's the way I usually get it, but my father being 90 is set in his ways. I decided on an appetizer of escargot and the main course of elk chops cooked medium and served with broccolini and mashed potatoes. After a while(and another glass of wine for my father) the escargot came out with some hot bread and infused butter. The escargot was tender and flavorful with hints of garlic and parsley in a rich butter sauce. The bread was a good choice to dip into the plate. A few moments later, my father's burger came out, cooked to perfection with crispy shoestring fries that were moist and tasty in the middle. The happy hour version of the elk chops consisted of two. They were served crusted over the broccolini with a nice moundful of herb infused mashed potatoes. The elk chops were delicious and tender, and the broccolini and potatoes were seasoned to perfection. By the time we were done, the bar was full and people were having a great time eating and drinking. I looked over at my father and I could tell it was time to go so we headed out the door and drove back to our condo in North Myrtle Beach . Overall, I find Thoroughbreds an excellent upscale dining experience with friendly and professional waitstaff in a club like atmosphere that serves great steaks and chops.
