My wife ordered the steak and lobster special. The lobster tail was very small and just average at best. The 8-ounce steak was one of the toughest steaks she has ever had--dry, with no juice or flavor. Since it was listed at market price, we were shocked when the bill came and they charged $80 for what was easily the worst steak and lobster meal we've ever had. I ordered the trio of chicken parmesan, veal parmesan, and fried manicotti. It came with a portion of pene pasta with red sauce,   To make matters worse, the tomato sauce was awful. For a restaurant that claims to serve authentic Italian food, the sauce was bland and tasted worse than store-bought Ragu. Good Italian food starts with a good sauce, and this was a major disappointment.   The best word I can use to describe it is disgusting. I've honestly had much better Italian food at Olive Garden and for half the price.  To make matters worse, when the check arrived, they handed me a payment pad for the tip. I left a 20% tip, only to discover later that the suggested tip was calculated on the total bill including taxes and the credit card fee, not just the cost of the meal. Overall, this was one of the most disappointing dining experiences we've had in Myrtle Beach. I will never step foot in this restaurant again, and I would strongly recommend that anyone looking for good Italian food spend their money elsewhere. I will start with the positive...the waitstaff we had was lovely. I think her name was Kirsten. Attentive except when she went to get some butter for hubby's bread we thought she milked the cow and churned the butter only to eventually return with 3 tiny pats of butter. That said we go downhill....tbh the food was disappointing and underwhelming. Granted it may have been an off night. My shrimp dish was absolutely the most bland version I've ever had for ordering Shrimp Francaise. My hubby said his scarpiello wasn't much better. I think we were prepared to be wowed by the better reviews however no such luck. We thoroughly enjoyed two family dinners here last week on our one week vacation. We loved it so much we came back for another night of drinks and good food. Our favorites were the escargot and the wild mushroom ravioli. The escargot was so tender and kept warm in the metal serving dish. The complimentary bread was fresh and crusty yet soft and delicious on the inside. It made a wonderful vessel for the escargot. The wild mushroom ravioli had the most delicate browned butter and sherry sauce, we enjoyed every bite. The lemon drop martinis were also perfectly made and tasty. We had the wonderful Suzanna serving us both nights and we couldn't have asked for a more attentive server. Food was good as expected so my 4-star rating is a reflection of the overall experience - 1. Wait staff - Please don't make a comment 'You really didn't like the food' when a patron eats the entire meal. The comment is rude but very common. 2. The electronic check-out at the table brings a different dynamic to the overall dining experience and an unspoken pressure to enter a tip amount under the judging eye of the wait- staff. An 'in your face' approach to solicit a larger tip? Not appreciated and uncomfortable. I like that the electronic check-out makes the business more efficient, but the POS mobile device should be left at the table for the patron to complete the transaction, much like the overall paper experience. 3. On our bill at the bottom, a note indicating 'Pay with cash for a 3% discount". I understand that everybody does it, but this raises a question. Went here on Thursday July 31st 2025 with my parents, and 2 aunts. We went out for a birthday dinner to celebrate my 30th birthday, which was coming up. We also made a reservation for that day just in case it was busy. They accepted our reservation and our table was ready upon arrival. It was a booth in the corner, but was very comfortable. Our server greeted us right away. We started with waters, I had the berry cosmo, my aunt had a blueberry crush but instead with raspberry vodka, my mom also had a blueberry crush a regular one though. My other aunt had wine. Oh, and server failed to explain to us any food specials, we heard another server rattle off like 3 specials, but that's my only feedback. For appetizers, we got the fried calmari, and burata. Food came out in a timely manner, and was delicious. For entrees, I had the Frutti de mare with chicken orzo soup. One can get soup or salad with your entree. My aunt had the fecitincini alfredo, my dad got the chicken sambolia, my mom and other aunt got the #3. Entrees came out in a timely manner, enjoyed my soup, as well as my entree, and others did too! Oh, and I was offered a free slice of cake because it was my birthday, and it was a turtle cake that was very good and hit the spot! When was done, Paid via credit card and left a cash tip! We came here thinking that we would have a great Italian dinner. This was not it. I ordered the Lombardo's feast #2 and the steak was just a piece of what looked like ground beef with grill marks on it. The chicken and the veal were subpar also. The risotto was ok, but the mushroom sauce was awful. It tasted as if they took an entire can of mushrooms and just dump it on top of the food. Would not recommend this place at all. Especially with the prices that they have. One of our party ordered the steak and asked what the price was, since the menu says market price. We were told $55, bill comes around and the price is $79. That is quite the difference. We also saw bug/ants crawling on the couches and one of our party said the bathroom was not the cleanest. All in all not a good experience. This was an absolutely horrid meal! Several members of our party ordered lasagna and it was a small serving and absolutely overcooked, mushy and disgusting. They add extra fees to your bill without letting you know (ie, a swap out of pasta to potatoes is a $5 charge for instant potatoes served from an ice cream scoop!)
