I left my $275 Aritzia sweater dress here to be dry cleaned, I have never washed this and it says dry clean only and left it in the care of Martinizing and THIS IS WHAT HAPPENED. One of the worst dry cleaners I have ever been to. First of all, I dropped off my dry cleaning on a Wednesday and was told it would be ready by the following Tuesday. Great, I thought that seems like a reasonable since I dropped off around 15 shirts. When I returned back on Tuesday to pick up my dry cleaning, the manager said that a pen broke out on the dry cleaning and that it would be a couple days before they were ready. I was upset but understanding as they said it would be ready by the end of the week. Flash forward, still no call, text or update on my shirts by the end of the week. I go to the store and they just gave me a run around answer that the lady is super thorough in her cleaning so it should be any day now. Never heard anything from them for another two weeks and I finally got my clothes back a month later after I barged in asking where they were. To make matters worse, they didn't provide any compensation for the delay and requested the full payment upon retrieving them and when I got home, I took a look at my shirts and they were completely wrinkled and not correctly dry cleaned!!! live walking distance to the dry cleaner and have to get my clothes dry cleaned on a weekly basis. Their lack of professionalism and inability to provide any financial compensation just lost them a consistent customer. I'd rather drive 20 minutes out of the way to go to another dry cleaner. I have been coming here for a couple years out of convenience, but recently a shirt was not returned in my order and unfortunately I didn't notice until later. The next time I came in I let the lady know and she entered a note in my account and assured me that someone would follow up with me. No one did. The next two times I came in to drop off or pickup I brought it up again and the same promises were made, no one followed up. At this point I should of have known better and not come back. The shirt is still gone and no follow up. A week later I dropped off some clothes, it was after their opening time of 7am but no one was there so put it in the overnight drop off. Two hours later I called just make sure they received my cloths and no one picked up. An hour later again no one picked up. So I called one of their other locations to find out what was going on, the lady was very surprised that no one was there and told me she would call the owner an follow up. To my surprise she did exactly that, she was very understanding and assured me that although they had a staffing issue that day my clothes would ready on time and as soon they were ready someone would call me. No one called me, weird. I needed the cloths went to get then and to my relief they were ready and I put that down to luck. Not sure how a business can have such terrible customer service at one location, but seeming Ladies and Gentleman that do what they say that they going to do at another. I guess I should live closer to the other location. I have since started going to another cleaner and will not be back. read more

I just went in that dry cleaners for the 1st time and the lady named Lisa was rude, and unprofessional. After I left I decided to call back and tell her that I didn't appreciate her being rude and through the conversation she was just as rude on the phone and she hung up on me. Do not go to this place! Even if you're close, go somewhere else. We needed a suit cleaned and gave them five days but they said it would be ready. When we went they said they didn't have the pants and they weren't even in the building! Now we have to go buy new ones because we are leaving tomorrow. This is the best dry cleaning place around! The staff is very friendly and helpful. I came in to get my comforter washed and they had it back to me within a week and called me when it was ready. There were also holes in it from my dog and they patched it up and I couldn't even tell where the original tears were! It looks amazing! I also had tried to wash my throw pillow in my own washing machine and it tore it up, so I went in the next day to have that added to my comforter and they sewed it up perfectly that I couldn't even tell that it was ever torn! Super nice staff, great turnaround times, and excellent work!! 10/10 recommend. read more

Service was OK and got my clothes back when I needed them; however, the price list that was being advertised in my building was completely different from what was actually charged to me. I was extremely disappointed when the shirts that came back to me ended up costing a whopping 40% more than what was advertised on the price sheet (which, by the way, was the price sheet I submitted with my form). When I contacted the point person at the shop near my building, I did not receive a response until two days later simply with a text saying "You have an out of date price sheet. Shirts went up on August 1." No offer to make an adjustment this one time nor any response to my feedback given the situation. Based on that I would not recommend this vendor, especially now that they are no longer priced competitively. read more

The owner's response approximately a year after my review perfectly represents the kind of endless arguing you are going to deal with if you do business with this place. A few points to clarify: - My review mentioned that when the suit was originally dropped off it had some water spots on it on the shoulders. I was caught in a rainstorm and it was simply water. After the second attempt to clean the suit by this company it came back with large sections of the front completely discolored (appeared to be bleached) and a whole different set of water marks over much of the jacket. - The entire process that played out over almost a year was driven by the owner. He asked for my patience while he endlessly looked into the matter, which I politely went along with as he assured me he would correct the situation. - It was approximately a $1,000 suit that had $300 of custom alternations done to it. Given the summer weight it had only been worn a handful of times and looked like new. - At one point in the conversation the owner asked me about replacing it. So I found pricing for a current version of the same item at the original store. - After waiting patiently for a year only to have the owner completely reverse course while becoming rude and abrasive I did indeed point out I could file a claim in small claims court. I think I still have the entire text conversation that went on regarding all of this. Including his initial apologies and assurances he would fix things. Ultimately I decided it was not worth the time and effort to go that route. Bottom line is I'm far from the only one who has had these issues with the owner. Being rude and abusive towards your customers is never a good business approach. read more

UPDATE: The manager did go out of his way to deliver our clothing on Sunday morning when the business is normally closed so that was appreciated. I still cannot recommend, however. ORIGINAL REVIEW: DO NOT trust this "business" with your clothing. A few weeks ago we received an unrequested delivery (we have always been clear that we prefer to pick up our clothing) that included someone else's wardrobe along with our clothing. We took the items that were not ours back to the shop and I do hope it all made it back to its rightful owners. Today (Saturday) my husband stopped by to pick up an order that was due on the previous Thursday but we couldn't get to prior to today due to our schedule. He was advised that our clothes were out for delivery (again...we have never requested delivery...we prefer to pick up) and they would make "best efforts" to see we got them today. He accepted this because he is sweet and trusting but when he arrived home we made a call back because I am not sweet or trusting and I need the suit jacket they are currently holding hostage for the upcoming work week. Long story short, we were advised that the clothing wasn't actually out for delivery but was yet to be picked up from the plant that actually does the cleaning. The clothing we were supposed to have been able to pick up 2 days ago, as a reminder. Anyway, it is almost midnight on Saturday night, we just got home and our clothing was never dropped off today, 2 days later than promised. Will be filing a Better Business Bureau complaint tomorrow and, I guess, buying a new suit jacket since it doesn't seem like I will ever see this one again. read more

No wonder this place only has two starts. The managers and owner are rude, unprofessional, and hostile towards anyone who has a problem. They're advertising caused damage to my vehicle and they are refusing to pay for the damages they caused. Instead they offered to try and "buff out" the damage themselves, as if they are a professional auto body shop. I didn't even need to use their dry cleaning service to know how bad it would be. They don't respect people's time or property. If I could give them zero stars, I would. Go literally anywhere else. Don't give these terrible people your business. read more

We chose Martinizing because we are local to the Highlands but we will never use them again. We had our comforter cleaned. When we brought it home there was a stain on it that looked like a brown rust mark right in the middle. We were later told it was from one of their machines. They asked us to bring it back and have it recleaned which did not help. They said they would reimburse us but they needed to talk to the owner. This was over a month ago. I've called at least 8 times always to be told my info would be passed along to the owner. He has never called me so today I called and got his number to call him. When I spoke with him he starts by saying he probably has received all my messages but is really busy since he owns 4 stores. I tell him the story and let him know at this point I've already bought a new comforter and would like to be reimbursed. He says he will only reimburse the full amount if I bring in the old, ruined comforter. I say no, why would he want my old stained comforter and he says he won't just buy me a new comforter unless I give him my old one. I explain that my old one would never had been ruined if I hadn't chosen to use his company in the first place and is this the kind of customer service he provides? He was extremely arrogant and condescending on the phone to me. I would think as a business owner he would take more pride in his company's reputation. If I was paid for a service that I failed to provide I would be more than happy to redeem myself with my customer. I guess Martinizing does not think that way. The owner claims he will have a check that I can pick up at his store in a few days but considering the way this has been handled so far I'll be shocked if I ever see a penny of reimbursed. Update- I went in to get the check that was supposed to be for $140. It was only $100. This owner is extremely dishonest. I would expect if a business fails to provide the service it was paid for, the customer would be compensated. I wish I had checked out his yelp reviews before ever considering to use his business. Hi Rachel- I'd just like to note that we did initially bring the comforter back to let you try and fix the problem. You were unsuccessful and yes after dropping off and picking it up twice we did not feel like bringing it back a third time. After receiving such awful customer service we wanted to be down with it and just be reimbursed. We agreed to hand in our comforter if you reimbursed the comforter cost and the cost we already paid to have it cleaned. The reason we did not leave the comforter with you when we picked up reimbursement was because you decided not to reimburse us the full cost.
