Horrible experience! A week before my wedding, I called and asked if I could drop off my dress to get pressed. The women said yes and that it would be ready Thursday before my Friday wedding. It was off to a great start. I dropped off my wedding dress and there was a young kid working the counter. He was friendly, but not very smart. The receipt said it would be ready 8/28 and I said, the women said it would be ready for my wedding 7/31. He said, well just call and I will let you know if it's ready or not. I'm like, um no I need it by this day. Is that going to work or no? He said yes. Then I said, my train is super long, will it just wrinkle when you put it back in the bag. He said, we can put it in a box for $62. Ummm ok no. He totally stressed me out! 2 days later a women call and asked it I wanted it cleaned ($160) or just pressed ($100). It was a little dirty underneath but it looked perfectly fine. She said, I have never pressed a dirty dress. So rude and more added stress because I was questioning myself. Fast forward to Thursday. I come in and tell a different young kid my name. He said, we don't have anything for you. I said, yes you absolutely do! Then the same rude women comes out from the back and said, oh you are the one that's getting married with a dirty dress? I went from my alteration lady to the cleaners and didn't clean out the bag. There were dress leftovers on the bottom and the women was trying to charge for them. I said, I didn't need my scraps pressed? Thankfully I prepaid so she didn't add it to my bill. I said, this experience has been added stress to my already stressful COVID wedding planning. She said something totally rude and I said, ok I guess I won't be coming back. She said, ok that's fine, we don't want your business. WTF! read more

I needed my bridesmaid dress hemmed just 4 days before the wedding. I called Martinizing Dry Cleaning and they assured me that they could have the hem done in just two days. When I went to meet the tailor, she actually never showed up for our appointment, but the incredibly nice and helpful women that work there helped get my dress pinned and ready to go for her. And sure enough, two days later, my dress was hemmed perfectly and was even cheaper than the quote I received! This place is awesome, I plan on going back for additional alterations! read more

I have been using Martinizing for the last year and I have always had excellent service and the very best dry cleaning of any dry cleaner that I have ever used. While there, I was able to talk to the Owner of the business and he was extremely kind and very interested in the level of service I had been receiving. I explained that I am very happy and enjoy coming in and dealing with the pleasant staff. I have also noticed that my clothing doesn't smell like chemicals anymore which is great!!! AVOID. I have had repeated problems with them, from items not being done on time, bad pressing, rude management, and most recently a broken zipper. Lisa, the manager, is rude, assumes no guilt, makes no refunds, will not look at customers in the eye, and lies. I asked to speak to her boss and she refused to give me that information. I mentioned this at the nearby dog park minutes later and others there laughed. Apparently they are notorious for this and everyone in the neighborhood has to go elsewhere for dry cleaning. read more

This was my first visit in and I brought 3 garments in. She seemed impatient and not friendly at all. She checked me in and told me to it would be ready tomorrow without quoting me a price. I had to ask her to provide me the cost with a lot of impatience. The next day I came to pick up my clothes, she said she tried calling me several times and left 2 voice messages. I got 1 call and 1 message that had had dead noise. She told me she couldn't clean one of my garments due to the instructions and I never returned her call. If she had actually left a message I would've called her back. Then she charges me double of what she quoted me. She said that there were so many people waiting, she didn't get a chance to check my garments and quote me the total cost. There was no one there when I dropped off my clothes. I came in after 1 person. I've never had anyone lie twice. Bad impression for a first time customer and it was expensive. The work is good but I left my favorite dress to be cleaned, my husband went into the hospital I went and paid for it but because I was a little distraught with my husband in the emergency room I paid for it and walked off, leaving it hung up on the stand next to the cash register . I called and ask them the next day if they had it they said they did not but I clearly remember leaving it hung up on the stand next to the cash register. read more

So i want to come back on here and write a redemtion review for this martinizing cleaners. On my last review I had just experienced my wedding dress getting ruined after having it dry cleaned here and I was very upset as I am sure you can imagine. But after this happened I was immediately contacted by the owner and the general manager of the store. Both were extremely understanding of my frustration and were both so wonderful in assisting me fix this. Brad the owner emailed me and Nora the gm called me and we arranged for the dress to be looked at by a seamstress and fixed at no cost to me. It was looked at by two seamstress's and the second one was able to fix it. I just got the dress back today and it looks as though nothing ever happened to it. Of course I am the worst critic and feel it just is not the same as before, but in reality it really came out great. I just cannot thank the seamstress and the team at Martinizing, Brad, Nora, and Jennifer for being so helpful and patient with this process. They all did everything possible to help me and ease my stress and worry about the dress. And once the dress was completed I also recieved a wonderful hand written letter from the owner. I thought this was a wonderful touch.From a customer service stand point this store knows what they are doing and I am glad to see a place that is so helpful with customer issues cause not every one does this correctly. Because of this I would recommend anyone to use martinizing dry cleaning. read more

This place is ridiculous. 3 out of the 3 last times I've used them my clothes have either not been ready on-time or have gone missing. This time the girl told me that they got a new system and its not her problem. I waited 30 minutes for them to find my items that should have been done hours before and then they have the audacity to charge me full price. I was going to give them their blue bag back as I'll never be returning, but I decided I'd rather burn it. Amazing customer service! read more

DO NOT use this dry cleaner. I dropped off a brand new, never-worn-before shirt to get cleaned and pressed and they returned it to me with a huge hole in the front of the shirt. After several attempts to work with Nora to address the issue, I was forced to file a BBB complaint. Nora promised to reimburse me for the shirt, asked for my address, and then never mailed me the check that we agreed on through BBB mitigation. I have since filed another BBB complaint and I'm going to file a small-claims case against them in Thornton. They DO NOT follow through on their promises and commitments and deserve to lose all of their customers. The cleaners across the street in the King Soopers parking lot is 15% less in cost, friendly, and they do great work. Take your business there to avoid the headaches at Martinizing. A few months ago I brought in several pairs of pants. Some needed to be hemmed and another had a broken zipper. They said they could fix these easily and quickly. When I picked up my order, they couldn't find my pants. When they finally did, I had to rush home so I didn't inspect them as closely as I should have. The hems fell out in about two weeks, and I discovered the zipper had never been fixed despite that I had paid for it. They were expensive and didn't do the job. I won't go again. read more

I have been satisfied with this company. I have a routine schedule, I know when the pick up day is and when I'm excepted to get my clothes. Then the company changes their merchant service company and since they didn't pay the extra fee to make it a smooth transition for their customers and their information wasn't processed. Me, the customer is paying the penalty. They called me and told me to update, I work late and couldn't get back to them and now my delivery is delayed, two days. Very inconvenient and not the service that I have been dependant on. Also, if you hire new associates, please train them on what is going on so they can answer questions. read more

I have been a return customer for more than a year, with drop offs twice a month. I have to say that the employees there are kind friendly, and professional. My cloths come back clean and fresh. I never had a problem with them, I highly recommend them as the go to Dry Cleaning service. A Major Plus is that they don't use the typical harsh chemicals in the dry cleaning process that are known to damage cloths. read more

Where do I begin... Horrible customer service. First experience/Double creased my expensive pants. Second experience/they stained my expensive pants and blamed the manufacturer. Third and final visit/they lost three expensive slacks for 2 weeks and still made me pay for dry cleaning after they magically appeared and was inconvenienced by their mishandling of my items. I have never wanted to criticize or talk badly about anyone or anyplace before but I was so appalled by the way I was treated at Martinizing dry cleaners in Thornton.I had two coats I needed cleaned. I have dogs who are light colored and unfortunately my coats are dark colored, wool and show every hair possible. You would have thought I brought in a skunk the women behind the counter demanded I stop picking some of the hair off the coat as I was getting hair "everywhere" really from one jacket?! Then before i could ask how much it would cost she immediately said "I'll be charging you more, I can't put that with any of the other items I need to get ready" gave me ticket and walked away. I had just brushed the coat with a lint brush the day before so it was not that horrible i got the same rudeness when I picked my jackets up. I have been a customer at this dry cleaners for over 12 years. I had always loved the staff and trusts thir work and had never had a bad experience until recently when new staff replaced the old. Within the last few months, they mixed up our order and we got someone else's clothing instead of what we had taken in. Th new staff there did not seem overly concerned that our items were missing. A week later they tracked down our order so we finally got out things back. However, two weeks weeks ago I had the worst customer service experience ever! We picked up our order on a Tuesday afternoon. My husband was catching an early flight out on Wednesday a.m. As he was packing very early in the morning, he noticed that 4 of his shirts that were picked up the day before had several spots of what appeared to be oil or grease on them. Needless to say he was not happy to discover this on his way out to a business conference. That afternoon, I took the shirts in to them. I explained to the person at the counter what had happened. Without even looking up from her register, she typed in a bunch of information and handed me a receipt and said, "they will be ready after 3 tomorrow". Needless to say, I was taken aback by her lack of concern. She looked up and said, "don't worry, we will clean them for free." I said, "um, yes, I should hope so." I said I felt they should be free to begin with since it was such an inconvenience. She told me to call the manager to discuss my concerns, so I did. The manager explained that she was sorry and they would re- clean them for free. She also said since I have been such a good customer for so many years that she would give me a gift certificate as an apology. I picked up the shirts the next day and they looked fine. Oh, you guessed it, no gift certificate. I am now a FORMER customer and will not be back. read more

Where do I even begin!? I was new to the neighborhood so I went to the dry cleaners closest to my house without doing my research - well, that was a huge mistake. I dropped off two dresses for dry cleaning only, one of which was a bridesmaid dress that I spent over $300 on between the cost of the dress and alterations. The cost to dry clean two dresses was $28, which is pretty pricey in my opinion, but that's not the worst part. When I went to take the dress out of the bag I found that it had a hole in the front and the seams were completely torn on both sides, with random threads sticking out in several different places. When I called and asked to speak with the manager, Lisa got on the phone and proceeded to be the most unprofessional, rude, incompetent manager I've ever spoken with. She told me twice to "just bring the dress in" and then hung up on me! Is that what you call customer service? I took the dress in only to find out that the manager, Lisa, had left for the day...convenient! Therefore, I left my dress at Martinizing (after taking pictures of all of the damage) and waited for a call back on Monday. To my surprise, she did return my call on Monday, but only to tell me that this was not their fault and they would not reimburse me for the $300 bridesmaid dress I can no longer wear. When I asked for the owner's number she refused to give it to me. Hmmmm, maybe because she knew she'd no longer have a job if I told him the experience I had with his company. I work from home and my husband wears casual shorts and sandals to work, so we don't have a lot of need for dry cleaning. However, we had the unfortunate incident of dog vomit on our comforter which is too large to fit in our home washer/dryer. I have a laundromat I have gone to before, but since this was much closer I thought I would check it out. When I asked if they could simply wash it instead of dry cleaning, she said "yes, but did you wipe it all off? I don't want anything on it when I put it in my machine"........So, let me get this straight....you are a cleaners but expect us to be bringing CLEAN articles into the store to be cleaned? I of course had wiped it somewhat, but the affected part was certainly still crusty and had an odor, hence why we were taking it to a cleaners. I understand it might not be the "usual case" to bring something in that has had substance actually spilled on it, but surely this is not a first?!? Even after the attitude I received I was still going to leave it, but then I asked if it could be picked up that evening and was told (very condescendingly) "No, it takes 3 days!" Needless to say, I went to my trusted laundromat I should have gone to in the first place and I won't ever be going back here, dry cleaning or any other cleaning needs. read more
