Nice folks. Most food was good (taste), however their specialty, the BBQ / Rotisserie Chicken, although tasty, was very dry and felt old (reheated). That was very sad because the rice & beans is good, as well as Majado de Yautia (malanga mash) and Guineo Escabeche (green boiled bananas in olive oil and onions). The Alcapurria $4 is OK, as well as the Pastel (PuertoRican tamale $7), but both expensive for what it is. The ambiance is fine, we did decided to take it all home. Good garlic bread as well. Yummy food! I would say the best bang for your buck here is the family platters as individual meals will get pricey depending on what you get. We usually go through drive through which tends to take a while even though we generally are the only ones there. On top of that some of our items are generally always at room temperature... some of their items are not my favorite like the side salads but it's main entrees like the chicken and rice/beans are really good! The vibe in the place is okay, not really much in the form of theming but it does remind me of places back in Puerto Rico so I guess there is something there. Staff are friendly enough. Would recommend if in the area with the family looking for something Hispanic and affordable. read more

I was staying close by for the Walt Disney World Marathon weekend and stopped here for dinner. They had good rotisserie chicken. They had a good selection for your sides to go with your chicken. If you're not used to Florida tap water, the drinks from the soda machine will definitely taste strange! Prices were very reasonable and affordable. Most of the staff spoke mainly español. They were all very friendly. read more

Their loud music during sleep hours is outrageous considering they are across the highway in a residential neighborhood and I could hear all of that from where I'm living. It's just absolutely inconsiderate to have blasting music like that in a residential area. read more

I always have seen the parking lot full at all times of the day and night, so I had to try it out. My mom and I stopped in and were having trouble deciding what we wanted, the manager came over and introduced himself and told us about the history of the business and made some recommendations. We went with the pork and the chicken to try it all. The portions for a "small" were pretty large and plenty of food for lunch. The yellow rice was very tasty!! We will definitely be back. read more

Before placing your order make sure they have chicken available. An employee who was in a hurry to leave got my order and never told me there was no chicken. I pay and the woman ran out for other employee to come and tell me it would be 20 minutes. After 45 minutes the chicken was done and a starving family . So make sure you ask. read more

We were staying at Star Island, Martins is right in front. Their chicken is amazing! Everyone was helpful and friendly. We had a hard time with some of the dishes and sides because we aren't familiar with Puerto Rican cuisine, but we muddled through. Whatever we had was delicious. You order at the counter, wait for your order then you can dine in or carry out. Prices are very reasonable especially for the main drag in Kissimmee. read more

A little late reviewing but we literally ordered from here 4 times while vacationing in Orlando and could not get enough!! Parents born and bred in PR. I ate PR food my entire life. I always cook at home. Orlando has some of the best PR restaurants in the country, even NY. This place was delicious and the staff was incredibly welcoming! Almost felt like you were at someone's house. We had everything from pernil, chicharrón, arroz con gandules, habichuelas, escaveche, batata, pasteles, pastelillos, pollo, sancocho con patita. This is another restaurant that I didn't actually dine in but I did UberEats instead. I got a whole rotisserie chicken for dinner one night after a long day at one of the Disney parks. The portion is good and the taste is very kid friendly as well. My only complaint is it's not evenly salted so some parts of the chicken were very salty while some parts were super yummy. Eating it alone, it's way too salty but with a side of rice. It's pretty good. I made my own side of steamed white rice so it went very well with the chicken. read more

HORRIBLE Experience from drive thru and inside the store. Went to the drive thru at first, 'cause we were tired after spending a good day with family. When we get to the drive thru, we asked for couple min to decide what we were going to order. The lady told us to let her know when we were ready. After we decided, we started ordering food the lady said that there wasn't batata at the moment, so i was going to decide for another item after looking at the menu. The lady with rudeness said: "Let me know when you have everything together and order". We already decided what we wanna order, but the lady right after "Go to the window" even though we knew what we wanted to eat. The lady with the same attitude said again to go to the window. When we got to the window, we waited couple minutes 'cause we were specting someone to be at it. NO ONE CAME TO THE WINDOW!! That's when we went inside to order. I was personally looking at the environment that they were working. The same lady who was serving the drive thru, came to the counter to take my order. I asked for couple minutes because I was going to let my sister to order for everyone. The lady put the plates back and left us on the counter. Another lady, a nice one this time, was going to take our order, but a rude "manager", i would say, with attitude told the lady that was going to take order to charge another person, but the lady told him that she was taking our order, and still that guy sent her to charge another customer. After seeing that attitude that they had, I decided that I wasn't going to eat in that environment but my family decided that they were going to eat. My sister's plate was fine but my dad order a plate with a quarter of chicken, yucca and fried plantains and a mofongo on the side. He instead received basically a chicken thigh, a lot of green plantains and a little bit of yucca and the mofongo was bland. Nothing similar like a regular mofongo from food trucks. It was bland, and only plantains in that mofongo and no flavor. Also, the mayo-ketchup had days in the fridge because it was white nothing like a regular mayo-ketchup. Personally, I would never comeback to this establishment nor my sister which she was a huge fan of this place because it remember hers back when we were living in Puerto Rico. Personally, I Yelp let me rate this from 0 to 5 i would personally choose 0. read more

Ate here 2 days in a row and the food was quite good. Specials are loaded with meat and your choice of sides. Tried the pernil and fried pork with yucca, rice and beans. The BBQ sauce is i believe flavored with papaya. Get a side of garlic for adding to meal. Definitely will be eating here again when in area. read more

Dissapointed with the portions for its value. Seems like the business is not doing well, because they are serving less for more price. They are also charging for tostones condiments even when you order the big portions of tostones. I was even scared to use the napkins because they may charge for them. It is a no-no. For the money I spend, I prefer to go to Cilantrillo a few miles away. Sorry this place is a NO for me. read more

I was in Kisseemme for a layover heading out on a cruise for 2 days. Stumbled across this little gem. Thought it was a regular bbq restaurant. While it wasn't what I was expecting, it delivered anyway. Have never been to a Puerto Rican restaurant but was up to try something new. We pulled in here on a whim passing by because my husband is on keto. Anytime we see "bbq" it's a safe bet he will be able to eat there. Anyway it's cafeteria style. We didn't really know the names of any of the dishes (especially the sides). We ended up getting the shredded pork and chicken. I stuck to The rice as my side as I had no idea what the sides were except for the plantains and some cold salad options. All I can say is that what we ordered was exceptional! The pork and chicken were flavored fabulously! The rice was like nothing I've ever eaten. I should have sampled everything they had whether I knew the name or not! Lol. Visiting from California for a paintball tournament, my buddy and I were looking for some tasty Puerto Rican food and we happened to stumble upon martins. The staff didn't speak English but we were able to communicate. The first night we got chicken and rice. It was so good we came back the second night with more people. We tried the carne frita mofongo $10.50 + camarones mafongo (without criolla sauce bc that has onions). The initial person taking orders couldn't understand me asking about onions, since hubby is allergic, so she had someone else come who was fluent in English and knowledgeable about the good. Overall delicious mofongo. We haven't had others so can't compare but we're now mofongo fans! Prices were very reasonable. Overall happy and if in Orlando area again, will def check out the food trucks again

The mofongo itself had great flavor and a generous portion of shrimp on top. Which I'm ok with.... Here is my issue for my poor review. 1. We had one guy take half our orders then disappear, then another person about 15 mins later come but to take the second order.... Why? 2. We give you our order You write it down and repeat it back to us and then leave.... Then you forget a child's meal and the wrong dish entirely for another after waiting for 1.5 hours to eat.... So wrong! We canceled their orders why wait another hour. 3. The way the food came no one got to eat together.... Food came out so random people sat watching others eat... On top of the crap service you ask for the gratuity be changed since obviously they failed on their service and you are met with crickets.... Only good thing was that pork belly app was good but as for food wise I have had better.
