I did not order a full meal, but did enjoy a snack and beverages from the bar. Very clean dining room. Attentive service by small team that was a bit 'stretched'. The live entertainment is excellent, but needs to be careful with performance timing when the National Anthem is being played (one time only) for Old Town event. I plan to return to enjoy a full meal. Easy to recommend.

Stopped by for my birthday to grab dinner. We sat outside and the band started playing around 9 pm. I enjoyed them and they even sang me happy birthday, but it was waaaay too loud. The outdoor space is very small, so the sound is just too loud to have tables that close to it. That did dampen our experience quite a bit. We ordered the large sharable plate for our larger table, and everything we tried on it was just okay. The ceviche was the best part in my opinion. I had a passionfruit mojito and that was really delicious! The chocolate cake they gave me for my birthday was also good. Our service was pretty slow overall and not super attentive, which is tough when 20% gratuity is automatically applied.

After a long walk through Oldtown my family, and I were super hot, and starving, so we stopped in to "El Cilantrillo". We thought, "what a beautiful restaurant the food must reflect the decor", and we were pleasantly surprised how good the food was, and service was on time. The hostess sat us down at this large table since we were a party of 8 people. When we sat down a photographer came by our table, and took our pictures. They came out very nice so most of us bought the photos. So we looked over the menu, and they had a nice selection of different dinner items, most of us ordered the skirt steak, and we all really enjoyed it. The skirt steak was really tender, full flavor, and a nice spice to it definitely would order that again when I go back to old town. Everyone in my party enjoyed their food and service, everything went really well. The service was great and we will be back.

PUERTO RICO!!! Ok all i have to say is that there is a thing about puerto ricans going to puerto rican restaurants, they are the worst critics, but what I can tell you this place is great from the food, service and the atmosphere is very welcoming. We came here for lunch and the place was not that busy but had their customers, right in the middle of Orlando this place is great! Our choices: Bacalaitos (comes with 4 cod fish fritters), Chicharron de pollo (double fried chicken), Chuletas Can Can (bone in pork chop) with a side of mofongo and a White Sangria (made with passion fruit) and a Tamarindo mojito (tip: ask for a side of club soda and mix it, you will thank me later) This place has GREAT service they included 18% tip on 1-5 guest and they went above and beyond on the service! Overall this place was great. Obviously as I didnt take any food pictures LOL! Next time I go will update my review! Thank you guys!

Went out with my family, and overall, we had a great experience. My fried Red Snapper meal was really good, though my fries came out a little cold. My wife ordered the Shrimp with Trifongo, and she really enjoyed it--all the shrimp were cleaned except for one, which she wouldn't eat. Other than that, the service was good, and the place had a nice ambiance. We had a party of 8, and the service was fast, which was impressive. A 20% gratuity was automatically added, but it was well deserved. Would definitely come back!

Visiting old town and decided to come to El Cilantrillo's. I wish I had not. Where do I begin . Let start with the very rude staff. If you don't speak Spanish they ignore you and treat you like a jackass for even being there. Despite this, my party wanted to stay and try the food because they had heard good things. They sat us outside and a DJ came on and played music so loud we could not hear each other even speak at the same table. When we did order the food, we waited an hour and a half for the food to arrive and when we did the best way to describe, it would be inferior. You could go to any other local place or even a fast food place and receive triple the quality of food for half the price. I would recommend staying far away from this place unless you enjoy bad food with rude staff.

While the service was a bit inconsistent, the food was FANTASTIC! We ate a ton here! There were four of us (my wife and two of our best friends). We had Sorullitos de Maiz, Tostones de Platano Relleno, and Croquetas de Mamposteao (just check the menu for the translations) for appetizers. Unbelievably delicious! Main dishes included Chuletas Fritas, Mofongo de Dupleta (with octopus and steak), and Pechuga a la Milanesa. My goodness, everything was super delicious AND the portions were super-generous to boot! For dessert, we shared a Flancocho--out of this world with the flan and chocolate cake combo! This particular flan is different than the way others make it. This was a thicker, richer flan that reminded me of my mom's flan (and I very, very, rarely eat any flan because my mom's was simply the best ever). For drinks, we had their frozen Margaritas, Peach Sangria (a bit on the sweet side) and two-for-one beers (served in 16oz steins) during their happy hour. Essentially, the beers were $3.00 per stein! What!!! Run, don't walk to El Cilantrillo--you will not regret it!

Out absolutely favorite spot in Orlando. Incredible food , great staff. The setting reminds me of local spot in Puerto Rico. If your a foodie it's a must.

One of the best if not the best Puerto Rican food in Orlando. been here a few times now and always been satisfied! The mofongo is my favorite option, this time had it with pork chunks!

Everything lacked flavor! So disappointing! Never again will we come back. Staff are not friendly when you tell them the food isn't good. Even though it was said very respectful.

OMG the Mofongo here is to die for. The ajillo is bursting with flavor. Probably the best mofongo I have ever had and I have been to Puerto Rico. Service was great and this location was very nice.

Pretty good food but can do without the salad...

This place has good food for a good price but that's mostly where the pros end. The parking situation is not good, they only have a few spots that are regulated by security who are not proactively helping people secure parking. The ambiance is pretty nice yet a bit on the basic side. I was very impressed with the pricing for most items considering the quantity and quality of food. Unfortunately, the most disappointing aspect is the service with it being too slow and non responsive. Took too long to get some items, others we had to go out of our way to ask the server for since never being brought out, and all that on top of the server not being around much to attend us. All in all would probably recommend other similar spots than coming here if in the area, unless actively at Old Town and wanting Hispanic food.
