I have been a client of Stephanie's for over 9 years and was thrilled when I learned she would be opening her own salon. Marucci is truly a reflection of her personality. Professional but not pretentious, trendy yet still inviting and the aesthetics are clean, bright, pretty and quite pleasing. The hours of operation are plentiful and they are even open on Sundays, by appointment, from September to June. Stephanie assures that you will get an equal high level of professional service regardless of which stylist you book with and Marucci delivers on that promise. My hectic work schedule (and 4 week root growth!!) has necessitated me to book with whomever I can get an appointment with. I have sat with Jamie, Melanie and Jackie and can say they are equally as capable and talented as Stephanie. I have never left this salon feeling I received "less" because I used a different stylist. This was my second time at marucci hair design and it was an excellent experience. The hair stylists were friendly and kind and all knew what they were doing. I am incredibly picky when it comes to my hair and the color cut and blow out all came out perfect. Exactly what I wanted. The conditioning treatments that I usually think don't work left my hair feeling soft, healthy, fresh and new and the seasonal theme was the perfect touch leaving my hair smelling and feeling amazing. The salon is small and very pleasant and has a very nice ambiance to it where you don't feel bombarded with noise and fumes. I've been going to Marucci's for over a year now, and can honestly say that it's my favorite salon ever. I've had my hair cut by almost every one of their stylists, and they've gotten it right each time (particularly Jackie, who I've seen the most). Everyone there is friendly, and adds to the positive experience, including Amanda at the front to the owners. I've recommended the salon to my mother and sister, who have already become loyal clients as well. I've never really enjoyed getting my haircut before, and it seemed more of a chore. Marucci Hair Design is a wonderful salon! The salon itself is very cozy and you don't feel overwhelmed walking in, as I have felt in the past at other salons. The staff is super friendly and very knowledgeable about what is best for your hair type, in addition to always working with your requests to ensure they bring your hair 'vision' to life. The salon is always having specials, which is especially great for those who are trying the salon for the first time. My wife and daughter have been coming here for a few years now and every time they return from getting their hair done, they ALWAYS look amazing!! The staff is extremely friendly and never make me feel out of place when I am accompanying my daughter for her appointments. She sees Jackie and she is very knowledgeable and did a great job with her hair. I even booked an appointment for myself this August, after getting butchered at my barber...again. I was 'ifey' about trying a new place, but a friend of mine goes here and her hair is always so pretty so I gave it a go and was very satisfied that I did. They called to confirm the day before, which is something I appreciate. Once I arrived for my appointment I was brought to the back where the stylist Jackie greated me and consulted me about what I wanted. Throughout my appointment Jackie and the staff were all very friendly and professional, I felt comfortable and was very satisfied with the outcome. The place is absolutely adorable!!! The staff is so friendly!! Besides that, I love the way they do my hair. I've been complimented many times on the style of my highlights and the color of my hair - that's all due to the marucci staff! I also have very thick and curly hair and this has been the only place in all the years I've been going to salons that actually gave it a nice shape whether I blow it out straight or wear it curly. A friend of mine had a coupon for a blowout and asked me to come with. I was so happy that I decided to go. All the girls were friendly and took care of us the second we walked in. I was served Sangria and taken for my hair wash. Whatever they used on my hair made it the silkiest and healthiest I swear it's ever been in my life. I have very long and thick hair, and I've sometimes had salons complain when I ask for a blowout because it is so much. Not these girls! Love them and will definitely go back. read more

I knew I had to try the salon, and have never looked back. The staff is friendly and professional. They tell you the truth; I have never felt "talked into" anything. They use top products. I moved to Staten Island 8 yrs ago & have gone to quite a few places but I FINALLY found a hair stylist (Jamie) & salon that gave me EXACTLY what I ask for!!! From color to cut to blowout!!! They were so good that we booked them to do the hair & makeup for my daughters wedding!!!!! Prices are very reasonable & the service is very accommodating!!!
