First off, the dog park is amazing. Huge with lots of space, separated areas for small and large dogs, agility play equipment, benches and the like. You must have a city dog license and it seems that access to the park is using an RF tag to open the gate. Nearby, an ADA compliant playground, fitness equipment and a disc golf course. And that's just half the park. On the other side, a regular playground with a splashpag, picnic shelters, a massive baseball/softball complex and walking trails and a mountain bike trail. Trail has a water reservoir in the midst of it. On the same side as the mini trail there's a cute woodsy kiddy park and a blue workout area where there are high n low platforms and hanging rings. Across the road is Carolina Courts. Next to it continues the Chestnut Square Park facilities: three lit tennis courts (no backboard), sand volleyball courts, and a football field (used also for soccer). They are all with lights.

The nibblings love the play areas. There's a good amount of parking and 2 entrances into the park. We normally enter from the Lakeview drive side. I love how they have areas for smaller kids to play. You don't have to worry so much about bigger kids hurting the smaller kids. The lake is nice but I don't like how there isn't a walkway around the lake. There are rocks dividing the lake from the grass but I would like a more defined area to walk around the lake. It's a great park for kids although there are not many swings so everyone is constantly running to take them or trying to wait out the next person who gets off. Although the playgrounds are nice this place was packed. If you don't like crowds this is not the park for you but if you don't mind crowds then you should def check this place out.
