She made sure to go the extra mile to get me in the loaner car thars closest to the one i brought in. They were identical. That level of customer service has become rare in todays climate. If I could give zero stars, I would. Marvin K Brown in Mission Valley is the most disorganized, unprofessional dealership I've ever dealt with. They held my car hostage for TWO WEEKS for a job which took a whopping an hour and a half of labor per the invoice. Every day was a new excuse, a new delay, and a complete lack of communication. They promised me a loaner car. Never happened. I had to get a rental out of pocket. They'd say "we'll have an answer tomorrow," then I'd hear NOTHING for days. Meanwhile, I'm stuck with no car and no answers. They initially told me my warranty would cover it, only to find out they didn't even report the claim until the last day. Then they refused to release my car until the warranty company paid them -- even though they already told me it was approved. Total runaround. Total mess. Special shoutout to Omar Nasery, who was completely useless and clearly in over his head. If you're looking for honesty, communication, or basic customer service -- this is NOT the place. A warning to all military spouses to always read what you sign because they will not be forthcoming to explain their diagnostic fees. $265 each for two different diagnostics (electric and suspension) when I had no idea there was even two separate systems and fees. I feel very taken advantage of and foolish so I would stay far away from a sneaky business who can't clearly explain what's happening with your vehicle and the fees with it. Came in this morning and dropped my car off for a recall at 8AM. They were able to do the software update to fix the issue. They called back saying that I had a screw in my tire and they could have it fixed by the time I get there to pick up my car at 10AM. I told them they could fix it only if my car would be ready by 10AM. The service advisor Alex said that would not be an issue and would be ready when I arrived at 10AM. I also asked if he could have someone appraise my vehicle because I am looking to trade it in for a newer Cadillac and he said he would have someone appraise it as well before I arrived back at 10AM. I arrived at 9:50AM to pick up my vehicle and they said it would be ready in 15 mins because they were still repairing my tire, No big deal not ready by 10AM but a little after, so be it. I waited for 30 mins and no one ever came to update me. I walked back to service desk to talk with Alex and he said ohh the tire machine that takes off the tire broke and we have to put on a new piece. I asked how long that would take and he said another 5-10 mins..... Fast forward now... it is 10:50AM I am late for work now and still no vehicle. It never fails when going to the dealership to get something fixed. They are NEVER on time and always have some issue that arises that I cannot pick up my vehicle at the time specified it would be ready. If you are going to come here just be ready to wait for extended periods of time with no real definitive time your vehicle will actually be ready. Update: finally received my CT5 at 11:05AM and they were nice enough to waive the $25 tire repair fee. They did not get my vehicle appraised as said they would. It would have to be taken over to sales. Well would have been nice to know that when I asked in the morning and they said it would be no problem. Changed to a 2 star since they waived the tire repair fee. But once again they never follow through with what they say they will do and nothing is ever finished at the time they say it will be completed. read more

I want in today to take my car for service. I called like 10 days ago and i told the person over the phone I need service and I have an EV car and I need the car to be checked I'm having problems with charging and I don't have the car for like a year yet it's brand new car. The girl told me it will take 24-48 hours and that she will reserve a loaner for me. Today I went waited in line for 30 min after my appointment they took all the other cars and kept saying the person you made the appointment with not in today which is I don't know who he is I just made an appointment, finialy they said will put you with someone else. The sales person was very dry no customer service no explanation printed the papers and he was like sign here, I said wait how long it will take he said 2 and a half week to bee seen by technician and we don't cover the loaner if it we end up not finding a problem with the car than you pay for the loaner. Which it will be completely fine if it's couple days not weeks. The sales person was very rude and not even looking at me when I was asking questions or apologizing for the inconvenience i even asked to speak to a manger and he said he's not here. Finally I said just do the service he said 2-3 hours do you wanna wait I said no I need to go back to work can you offer a left he said no we don't do that again not even one apologies or explaining. When I went back to get it I waited another 30 min because no one was getting the car for me. The car came was supposed to be wash it was dirtier than before. When I dropped it off I was able to do so a little before they opened and pick up was smooth as I was able to pay before I got there. I'm not one to leave negative reviews, but my experience here was so terrible that i was forced to voice my opinion. An absolute joke of operations here. Purchased a bed cover for my truck, and was told that i would get a call from the parts/service department when it's ready to bring my truck to install. No call came and a couple weeks after, i decided to call myself. Come to find out the cover was there but no one wanted to call and schedule my appointment. Appointment was set for 10am. I showed up and was helped by a service guy named Oscar. He checks me in and promises it'll be ready by 3pm. I come back at 3pm to find out it hasn't been touched yet and no one has any idea why or what the status is. At that point it's like dealing with a bunch of children, no one knows anything and no one can give a definite answer. I could not believe no one had noticed my truck hadn't been touched/moved for five hours. Big argument happens with the service department and I'm forced to either leave my truck or have to reschedule my appointment after dedicating a whole day to this as is. They then tell me that they can't get the job done for another two days until after the 4th of July holiday, but then when I raised hell, the tone changed and all of a sudden they could fix it before the end of the work day. This goes to show it was possible in the first place and should have been done in the first place. Cherry on top, when i go to check out upon my return, they tried to upcharge me $400 because they didn't account for the fact that i had pre-paid for these services. Why is it so hard to do the right thing and do a good job? As consumers, we pay for what we get and yet get terrible service in return. Do not go here. I definitely won't be returning. read more

Notably, a substantial charge of over $1000 for a receiver was later revealed to be a mere blown fuse, and the discovered fuse left in the trunk felt like a middle finger. My car was kept for 2 weeks due to thanksgiving, mechanics calling in sick, and a large batch quitting. So many cars were packed at the service station. On a positive note, this experience prompted me to acquire the skills to address car issues independently, turning a challenging situation into an opportunity for personal growth. The purchase process was smooth, so I did raise my review score up to 2 stars. Exactly 1 year after buying a used Ford Explorer Sport Trac in cash, the transmission completely failed and requires 100% complete replacement of A TRANSMISSION. I responded to my "congratulations on one year" email they sent me the prior month letting them know I was facing a $5K repair in one year of buying their car... crickets. It's just an awful position to be in. I need to now buy a new car after one year, as well as dispose of a non-working car. I reiterate, the sales people were awesome when selling the car. Frustrating experience! No updates provided during service. Kept my wife's Escalade V over two weeks 85% for warranty/15% non warranty. Had to keep calling and texting the service advisor with short to no responses. Never was given a quote on the total cost for the service. Said they would refund my rental car cost because they kept the car so long and there was warranty involved, they haven't. Two of the items that I took it in for are failing again. Furiously upset with how the service manager Larry handled my problem today. I've been going to this service department for over 4 years and have never had a huge problem. The occasional screwing you over in service parts, but that's it. I dropped my car off for an oil change today and when it was finished I drove off and noticed immediately that there were a bunch of scratches on my steering wheel. I hesitated going back to ask them how this happened, but then thought, fuck it, I didn't do this and this definitely wasn't here when I dropped it off. So I flipped a bitch and was back asking my service guy what could be done about it. Which I have no complaints about my servicer today. Larry enters the picture and is a total stiff prick. He asks me how I think they caused this problem. Wtf! If I knew I wouldn't be asking how this happened. Well Larry, I googled how this could happen, cause obviously I don't know because I've never done it to my steering wheel. This is what I found Larry: "It was due to the clip on a pocket knife dragging across the wheel when exiting the vehicle." "Driver gets in or out of the car and their pants pocket rips the leather." "Zipper from a jacket that caused it." There are multiple ways your service team could have caused this. But thanks for not even entertaining the idea and accusing me. I'm a 5'9" 125lb female.
