Marvis is AWESOME!! I have been going to her for 4 years and she is gentle and has removed the hair on my chin, lip and eyebrow area. Her office is clean and comfortable. I highly recommend Marvis as a skilled and experienced Electrologist. If you have light skin and laser doesn't work for you, do electrolysis. You will not be disappointed. It permanently removes your hair for good. read more

I used to go here for facial hair removal. The person who was doing the hair removal seemed to be very much not ok with trans people. She kept asking for "my real name", constantly told me how much I looked like a man and rem her of her son, and brought up how much she liked a bunch of conservative politicians (who all also don't like trans people). Probably not the best place to go if you are trans. read more

My wife went to Marvis yesterday for her first visit. She came home and couldn't stop talking about how professional Marvis was and that the treatment didn't even hurt. I didn't even think she needed any hair removed but she does have a cleaner looking face and her armpits have no stubbles. I am thinking of going to have some hair removed myself. I recommend Maris because happy wife, happy life, and my wife is very happy and made future appointments. read more

So who has a problem w hair in places they don't want it???? I have your solution...Marvis Carson & Company Electrolysis!!! Marvis has changed my life forever and only those who have hair problems like I HAD can truly understand. I no longer have to worry about the "side burns" on my face, the god awful razor burn on my upper legs or the ingrown hairs on my bikini area!!! My solution...Marvis! Not only has she saved my life from being a slave to tweezers & razors she has become a voice of reason in my life. My appointments w her eventfully became multi purpose. They went from just an appointment to remove my unwanted hair to an appointment removing my unwanted hair & confiding in her about life's problems. Marvis Carson & Company Electrolysis has been offering permanent hair removal at 8 Laconia Avenue since the business opened. Electrolysis is the only FDA approved modality of hair removal that has been proven and is allowed to advertise "permanent hair removal". In 2011 Jacqueline McGurren, LE joined the business as a sub-contractor. We are now open 6 days a week mornings, afternoons, evenings and Saturday mornings by appointment only.
