After years of driving by I decided to see what services they offered. I made an appointment for a 20 minute facelift. I immediately saw a difference and I decided I wanted to do both my neck and face. I am amazed when I look in the mirror! After my third visit I had gone to a store and while making a credit card purchase I had to show my ID. After a few back and forth looks I was then complimented on how good I look. Let me start from the beginning. Bought a livingsocial deal for $149 for 6 treatments. Called to make an appointment and was told they are only open during the week. Live near by, but work in Woburn, so makes it difficult for me to get to the area after work to make an appointment. Made an appointment, arrived, the receptionist was extremely nice. Had my laser done. Thought it was strange that the girl that did the laser did not wear goggles and did not make me wear goggles. The place I had gone before had me wear goggles. Instead, she told me to close my eyes so that the laser does not affect my eyes. This made me skeptical. Explained to the receptionist that I would like a weekend appointment as the sign on the front door states that they do Saturday appointments by request. I thought perfect, well she stated that they do not have a person to work on weekends at either location and are trying to open once a month and she would call me and let me know. She did call, multiple times to try and make a Saturday appointment with me, but she had to cancel because they could not find someone to work that day. Then finally had a Saturday appointment confirmed, first appointment of the morning. Two and a half months later after my first appointment. Was 15 minutes early to the appointment, heat not working n the building, girl wearing pj's, no one at the front desk. She came out and told me that the laser isn't work and if I wanted to wait or come back later. I told her I would just leave and call back to make another appointment. She offered to give me a free session for my troubles. Honestly, I was just so fed up with the scheduling experience and really the unprofessional nature of the women who do the laser treatment that I called living social and had them refund the money back which they did within two days. i left a message the same day at Spa Medique to talk with someone about my experience, no one answered, and no one has called me back. Be cautious with this place or any place that you find on deal sites. I have gone to another laser place in chelmsford, ma, they were expensive, but very professional and worth the money. read more

I scheduled an underarm treatment when I was told about this place by a friend who had had her legs done. The woman on the phone, Chris, was accommodating and friendly, and was able to get me in for a Saturday appointment that weekend. The office is nicely decorated, clean, and the staff are very friendly. The laser isn't particularly comfortable (no laser is), but it's not nearly as painful as some other laser treatments I've had, and when you're being zapped they're quite careful to check in with you and make sure you're comfortable with the intensity, as some areas can be very sensitive. I'm thrilled with the results - a few stragglers but otherwise no more hair! read more

Last week I went to spa Medique to have laser hair removal. The last time I was in for a treatment was 2012. Obviously it WORKS!!! I have had hair removal at another location and it was extremely painful. Spa Medique uses a cooling gel prior to the treatment and it really helped make the treatment comfortable and pain free. I was a little nervous at first since this was my first time getting laser removal and because I had never been or heard of Spa Medique before. I've so far have had two sessions and have had teeth whitening too! I was told about Spa Medique by Valerie of "​Aesthetics by Valerie" in Nashua (BEST facials btw). Spa Medique takes your skin regime a step further with IPL Photofacials. Photofacials take care of the brown spots to keep your complexion looking flawless. (There is also research that suggests they can prevent skin cancer.) Steve does the photo facials at both the Londonderry and Plaistow locations. He does a fantastic job, goes above and beyond since he is a bit of a perfectionist (yea!) and also explains the technology while you are having it done. I just had my second Photofacial and learned a bit more about the technology. Apparently it also can help with skin tightening and collagen production as an aded bonus. The staff is friendly and laid back, this is not a snooty spa, which is just fine with me. read more

I would give zero if I could. I bought an ENDYMED treatment on Groupon. Usually it is a bargain. I had never had this particular treatment, but it sounded great. Little did I know, it is offered at $125.00 cheaper on a regular basis at a place closer. But the worst thing is, after my treatment (and certainly before I knew that it was overpriced) I bought a "package" for $4511. After a day, I had a severe reaction and my salivary gland swelled. I called to cancel and get my money back. I never received a response after dozens of calls and emails. My credit card company is petitioning it for me and Better Business Bureau has been notified. I never received one treatment for the money I paid. THEY ARE UNETHICAL AT THE LEAST!!! read more

I love this place! I had previously gone somewhere else for my laser hair removal but saw a living social deal for 149$ for 6 treatments, since i was no longer happy with the place i was going and wasn't seeing much as far as results i decided to try it out. They were very informative and the people at the desk were much nicer, and more helpful than the previous place. Go to this spa. Seriously. (here's the good and bad, imo) My favorite thing about Spa Medique is the staff. They are professional, attentive, skilled....and kind. They really care about how you feel (physically and mentally), and whether or not a treatment is working for you. They have the most painless (and damn effective) laser hair tech that I've tried--and I've tried several, thanks to Groupon. The facility is very nice, too. At one point, they gave me discount cards for new clients. But I couldn't find people to give them to, because anyone I know who would go to a salon like this had already found them, and loved the place. Two small issues: Their facility can be a little hard to find without gps. Their open hours are good, but not great. But I give all 5 stars, because I like this place so much. It's a win. read more

I lived in NH for years and had many treatments with Steve. 6 months ago I moved to Atalnta Georgia and searched for a spa that offered the same type of services and treatments. Well lets just say I have had 0 luck with that,I have been to a few spas here for IPL's and skin tightening,your just $ to these ppl I have dealt with not to mention the staffs do not compare to the services I received at Spa Medique! After hearing great things about Spa Medique from friends I made the hour long drive to check it out, and it was well worth it! I've now had my underarms lasered three times, and am seeing amazing results! The first time I went I was skeptical (my hair was so thick, would this really work) and after a week or two the hairs started falling out, just as Steve said they would. I no longer see a shadow, and only have fine, stray hairs left. A couple more times and I know I will never need to shave again. The treatment is painless and quick. Spa Medique has extremely friendly staff, a comfortable environment, and is clean. I won't hesitate to go back for other treatments or to recommend them to family and friends. 5 stars! read more

I have been going to Spa Medique for laser treatments for the past eight years! Steve is very friendly and he enjoys his job. After my last treatment (I spent 180$ with tip) I will not be returning. First I have been going to this spa since high school, and after eight treatments I did not see a great difference in hair reduction. I decided to continue treatments and paid around 95$ for every touch-up. When the spa moved only to the Londonderry location I still continued my treatments (I used to go to the Plaistow location). When I went to the Londonderry locatiob the women at the counter said she could not find my file that she would now have to charge me 150$ for every touch-up. I have been going there for eight years, and I was very upset. I still got hair growth, however it was sparse so I wanted to continue my treatments so I agreed. The next month when I returned for my touch up AGAIN, the other lady behind the counter told me she viewed my file and saw I have been receiving treatments for a while. This got me even more upset because that means they had my old file the entire time but the other lady lied. I again continued my treatments. The last time I went the women who performed the laser treatment was very sweet but missed many spots. I continued to give them the benefit of the doubt because they were nice people however I will not being returning. I have been going for eight years and the results are not getting any better. read more

I went for a dermasound treatment. i suppose the results were ok, nothing really too noticeable except my face felt softer and smoother for a day or two. The problem is this place isn't really a very nice "spa" like atmosphere at all. It smells musty in there, and it's cold. I would consider a nice spa experience to be a place that is warm and comfortable with dim lighting, maybe soft soothing music. None of that- it's like going in a cold hospital room. I was laying there freezing the whole time, she didn't even give me anything to cover with. The nicer spas cover you with a warm blanket, sometimes even warm slippers for your feet. I was just laying there exposed and cold. It was not a pleasant experience. read more
