I did research though google and instagram and ended up loving Kelly's work. I DMed on IG asking some questions in which she answered thoughtfully. I felt comfortable going to her for my first visit. Scheduling was wonderful and easy. The front staff was wonderful, Maya was very kind! Upon first seeing Kelly she went through by medical hx in detail to make sure i had no contradicting conditions/meds that would interfere with what i wanted. She explained botox vs my severity of TMJ and her recommendations of how much she felt would be helpful on a first time visit. As well her suggestions on my underage filler to achieve the desired look I wanted. I had initially thought just filling the tear trough would improve my undereye (which it did) BUT, to get the look i ACTUALLY wanted she explained how medial cheek and mini cheek lift would get the look i pictured in my head. Like she read my mind! She understood my description perfectly and made it come to life. The process was painless. She used a numbing cream on injection sites. It was quick and over before I knew it. She asked how i was doing through the entire process. Educated me on post care and possibility of bruising or swelling. Fortunately for me i only had 1 teeny bruise under my eye at a injection site that went away in 2days. Its been over a week since my visit. In that time Kelly has reached out a few times to check on how I've been doing, and i really appreciate that. I feel its amazing personal attention/care and it honestly couldn't be beat! I couldn't be happier. Im still shocked how i didn't do this earlier. I work nights, 14 hours 3 days in a row and I look v tired after the week is over. I don't look tired anymore!! I look awake, and fresh. Glowy even. As for my TMJ, its too early to tell. Kelly said 6-8 weeks i should feel a difference. I love Kelly, she is knowledgeable, comforting, fun, understanding / helpful and gave me all the information and more that i needed. The facility is clean, and the people are inviting. What a wonderful experience…read more I've had what I'd describe as a subtle raised sun spot (semi wart) on my chest for many years, not sure exactly how long. Since it was benign and not too large like skin tags/warts typically are, I didn't give it much thought. But finally decided to see if it could be removed without scarring. Looked online and there weren't many places that focus on that type of procedures with a lot of reviews, but ultimately choose Dr. Bartels, because there were a couple reviews on Google (all 5 star), conveniently located, and good website/contact form. Reached out asking for details and heard back with answers to my initial questions as well as scheduling an appointment. They noted, if the consultation was successful they can do the procedure at the same time, which I opted for. It's located at a complex of offices that can be a little confusing but they provided detailed instructions prior so didn't run into any issues. Arrived and was greeted right away. Completed the paper work, and then immediately was greeted by Dr. Bartel and his registered nurse Ms. Dozois. Like the coordinator Katherine, they were all very friendly and welcoming. Answered some initial questions with Ms. Dozois and then was quickly seen by Dr. Bartels. who confirmed I was good candidate, and after light numbing agent started the procedure. The initial shot was virtually painless, and due to the location felt nothing doing the procedure which was done in under 10 minutes. While I wasn't nervous at all, I didn't expect it to be so easy, which was a great surprise. The doctor and staff all have a great bed side manor and we chatted after about post procedure steps including an ointment included and scheduling a followup appointment. The process of course is not cheap, especially if you have multiple items needing to be removed, but you get what you pay for, and certainly a great value compared to attempting home remedies or from less experienced professionals. I'll try to remember to post a follow up on the results in a couple months but over confident it will turn out great, and while I can't comment from experience on any of the other services offered, if it's anything like the service I received, then I imagine they will go splendidly as well. Highly recommended and may take a look at a few of their other services down the road.
