I've been to this nail bar around 5 times already. Mary is a sweetheart and also Elizabeth she is super nice. All the technicians Ive tried there (Elizabeth, a long black haired cuban and a green eyed blonde cuban) i dont recall their names they've been AMAZING. I love my nails white and clean and I just love how natural they look everytime I get them done here. Ive done apres gel and manicure gel, also pedicure gel they really take off all bad skin from my feet its awesome. No complains at all!! I'm giving this place 4 stars because the lady who did my mani/pedi was amazing! It's a little hole in the wall that I only discovered out of sheer desperation. If this review was based on personality I would give it 1 star because of the rude lady I encountered. My friend waited an hour bc this lady kept getting up to smoke. When she finished with her client she got up to smoke again and left my friend waiting. She then told her that the lady that was finishing up with me would take care of her. She has no class what so ever and she took forever to paint her clients nails. Beware if you come here and don't do your nails with her. I'm posting a picture of her. You can't beat the price here and they really do try to make your comfortable. The chairs recline back and you almost fall asleep as you're getting your feet done. I came here because of the great reviews that i read from my fellow Yelpers! Oh boy, was i disappointed. I made my appointment for 6pm - got there at 6:20pm because i got lost, since there is about 10 nail salons right across each other (i wish they would've told me which shopping center it was in). I called every 5 minutes and told them to bear with me that i was almost getting there. Finally, i got there and they told me to wait. I told them that unfortunately, i couldn't. I had to leave by 7:45pm at the very latest. Everyone was so rude about, finally after screaming about 5 times for Jenny - she comes to do my nails with an attitude. Despite the fact that i told her i was in a hurry, she kept STOPPING to talk to the other manicurists. My nails came out good but would never go back there. Other observation - They would talk behind the clients back as they were leaving!! I thought this was so disrespectful. Also, the lady that blow dried my fair was super sarcastic - she even said "what does the little client want now" to me. I will never ever go back there. read more

I love this place. I purchased a groupon deal for a full set of acrylics for $12. My nails turned out perfectly and the nail technician really took her time. The only problem was that there was only one nail technician available for acrylics, so the wait is a little long. Definitely coming back!!! read more

I have now become a regular at Mary's nail bar. I like this place so much that I have turned all my family onto this place. I love that they always have appointments available immediately. The manicurist are great and get the job done quickly and efficiently. Only reason I am taking away one star is because they don't have massage chairs when you are getting your pedi done. But for the price I don't mind especially since they sometimes offer wine and coffee. If you are interested they have a lady that does eyebrows towards the back check her out you wont regret it. If you want to spend the entire day at the nail salon then this is the right place for you. My friend and I spent four hours here and it ruined all our plans for the rest of the day. We also went here because we heard the prices were good... I paid $43 plus tip for a pedicure and gel manicure while my friend payed $28 for a regular manicure and pedicure. In love with my nails and the attention provided! The owner has a great personality, I felt relaxed and at home while in the reclining chair during my pedicure!! I had a variety of color named brand polishes to choose from. I enjoyed my experience so much that I've officially made it my nail salon. I decided to try this place since the reviews were good and they were rated 4 stars. 1. You shouldn't go to this place if you don't speak Spanish. They refuse to talk to you in English and then penalize you for it. I even continued to be extremely well manored and nice and no courtesy. 2. The woman made me bleed when cutting my cuticles on both my hand and foot 3. There's a picture on yelp that says mani pedi is $20 all the time, it's not. The ladies at the salon are so welcoming and fun! They are very accomodating to my schedule every time I call for an appointment. My gel manis last for 3 weeks every single time and their nail techs are professional, thorough but not slow by any means, and always very helpful when determining length, colors, designs, etc. This is definitely my favorite nail salon to go to! They are experienced, and all the technicians that I have had, have been great and professional. They are very clean and use disposable supplies, and or sterilized tools. I always feel comfortable and I feel like they always go above and beyond for my friends and family. I really think that the owner and technicians like what they do. This is my go-to nail place now. I started coming here because of Amnerys (she does eyebrows and rents her space out of the salon). She is incredible and I always get compliments for my eyebrows. The salon itself staff is always so friendly and accommodating. They're always either serving wine or coffee for their clients. Huge selection of polish (I'm personally a perfect match fan). Bianca is by far the most perfect nail technician there. I get gel polish done with a full pedicure every 2 weeks and pay $43 before tip. I am never disappointed with her work, always leave happy! Yesterday was my first time getting my mani/pedi here. I called on my drive home from work and they were able to fit me in. I must say I am very pleased with the attention and service I received. This place is definitely not a factory, you do not feel like they are rushing through the service just to get to another client. My nail tech took the time to really clean the nails and not just do a run through. They have Essie, OPI and China Glaze polishes. The place is clean and comfy. The only thing that can be a con, not for me personally, is that it is mostly (if not all) Spanish speaking. I am fluent so this was not an issue for me but worth noting. Although my nails turned out wonderful, they were under staffed, no one spoke a lick of English, the place has no real atmosphere, is unwelcoming and certain comments from the owner, other employees and clients about children being in the salon did not sit well. I understand taking a child to do your nails is not ideal, but I also know that as a single mom, sometimes we have to do things with our kids that are not ideal. To talk bad or condescending about children is completely inappropriate and very unprofessional. I wish I had got the lady that did my nails cell number, I would have continued to do my nails with her, but will not be going back to the salon, ever. I will never go anywhere my child or someone else's child is not welcome. By the way, it is Mary'S (plural) Nail (singular) Bar not Mary Nails Bar... The only reason I went was because the price was so cheap yet i was not informed that i had a 5 dollar extra charge for using matte polish and another 5 dollar xharge for removing my gel nailpolish, they came to tell me as i was paying. I went in as a walk-in. I asked if they were available to do pink and whites. I was told that one of the ladies was finishing a fill and then they could see me (10-20 max). What can you expect from a place with two grammatical errors on the name.. Should be Mary's Nail Bar...They do have group-on which is nice, but only to compensate from the lack of courtesy, customer service and professionalism. The place is a Cuban nightmare with all kinds of women yelling and making fun of other people all the time. There are no seats if you are waiting, so I hope you like standing or walking around the tiny shopping center. The only reason I go is for my eyebrows so I tried a mani. But I' am never again doing my nails there. The gel started coming off like wall paint within 6 days. Not sure why I paid for that when I could have done it myself. The eyebrow lady is called Amnerys they call her The Brow Doctor and with good reason, she is located inside this place and hopefully she leaves soon so I can continue doing my brows hopefully in a better environment that actually has toilet paper in the bathroom! This was my first time here today. They had a Groupon I called before hand and the owner told me not to worry about buying it they would honor the price for mani pedi for 25. I arrived on my appt. They offered me pastelitos. I had a pick a color and I asked for their opinion I like to have unique colors she recommended another color and I took it. They did pedi and then mani. I loved it the pedi was great they lay u back on the sofa for ur pedi. They put a hot warm towel for the feet. It was amazing. I literally re downloaded yelp to write about how bad this place is. I will start with after I went there my bank notified me of fraudulent charges. I rarely use that card and I used it at this place. Either their ATM or their card swiper took my card info and someone used it for gas right down the street ($87.. police have been notified and they are investigating....) ANYWAY I went there to get my nails done (should have gone to my regular place) I always get gel manicure. I call them they say they can take me right now, great. I walk in and it looks like a nice place. I sit down in the most uncomfortable BROKEN chair.. are you serious!? They nail tech she proceeds to file my nails like off. While she's filing another tech comes over and shows her something on her phone. She STOPS working on my nails and reads what looks like a text message for like two minutes. Then the lady sits next to her and they talk in Spanish back and forth for about 10 minutes. While this is going on every other sentence she stops working on my nails and looks at her to talk... how rude. After the lady gets up and walks away my nail tech makes two phone calls... clearly not paying any attention (I also noticed that two other nail techs were making phone calls while with clients). Today (two days later) I noticed one of my nails was chipping. TWO DAYS! Usually my nails last no problem at least 3 weeks. I'm sorry but that is so unacceptable.
