Jenn is the best pet sitter I've ever used! She's been watching my cat when I head out of town for five or six years now, and is incredibly reliable and responsive. She always texts an update on the first day of pet sitting as a nice reassurance for the paranoid (maybe this describes me) that everything is good. Jenn (a.k.a. - Mary Pawpins herself) is one of the most caring and conscientious pet caregivers around. Not only is Jenn certified in pet first-aid and CPR, but she uses a tool that most folks seem to lack these days - common sense. If she comes into your place and finds that a pet has knocked over a garbage can, she picks up the mess and leaves you a note. If the dogs track in mud - she sweeps it up. She treats your home and your pets as if they were her own. She comes on time, she gives you the service that you pay for, and she goes the extra mile. My dogs prefer her to me! I was sad when we left Fishtown, because it meant we would have to find a new pet sitter. We only had the chance to have Jen take care of the kitties a couple times, but that was enough for us to know how wonderful she is. Jen came to my rescue when I recently purchased a home in So Phila ... no one, and I mean no one, would come this far south to walk my girls! But, Jen did ... Jennifer has been walking my pug for a few months now and she is fantastic. She is always responsive, reliable and the price for a walk is very reasonable. She's great with last minute scheduling and has helped me out in a jam several times. Recently, my pug suffered a small seizure while she was with him. She stayed with him beyond her typical walk time until she was certain he was ok, called me and was so wonderful.
