Great choice to assist with any behavioral patient needs for both postacute and long-term care.

ATI Physical Therapy is discreetly hidden in office building near the Baptist Hospital (Abrazo…read moreHealth) off Bethany Road in Phoenix. The place is easy to get to and parking is plentiful. Dion, the Clinic Director is just plain awesome. He is very knowledgeable, kind, and a master at his craft. He does not hesitate to share his knowledge to his patients and his peers. You can tell he has a love for his job and his craft which is hard to find. He does not make you feel small or insufficient which those feelings can sneak up on you. For me, my journey is a broken arm at 56, at an age when I am at my worst shape ever. overweight and riddle with arthritis. I have a long journey and have made so much progress. Dion and associates, Ed, etc, I have nothing but praise. These are a group of fun people that you wished you were friends with outside of work and are true professionals making this journey a pleasant one making one at ease. HOWEVER,**** When there is light, there is also darkness, and I am referring to ATI's Billing Department so any new patients' trend with caution. I had issues with their billing department where the associates do not return your calls or emails, there are no follow ups, and they have no common sense of flexibility. For the most part, they are pleasant on the phone but deliver no substance in their solutions or explanations and I had to go beyond them to get routine matters resolved on my own and bothering folks like Dion, something he does not deal with on a daily basis because it is not his job, but he cares and points me in the right direction. Would I go to ATI again in the future, yes, but I would make sure every step along the way is covered with insurance and billing issues. As I am in the final stages of my medical treatment, I have this cloud over my head, a dark cloud of "what if" with the billing department. My latest fight with the billing department will work itself out. I did everything I was supposed to do as a patient and also went the extra mile for my insurance company because I do not trust their billing department. If the billing department was not in this review, it would easily be a 5 star review.

Not this location specifically, but ATI in general is a terrible place to work in any position. PT…read moreand PTA are under constant stress, having to solely rely on their OSS because corporate wants the doctors to see 13 patients a day each for over and hour, which is not possible. Patients are constantly complaining because they want one-on-one attention from PT when it is not possible due to high volume patients comin into the cllinic. OSS are doing all the work in the clinic from washing/drying laundry, working with patients, scanning/explaining paperwork, cleaning the clinic, answering the phone and scheduling appointments. If you like a fast-paced environment with terrible pay and constant cleaning after others, this is the place for you!
