Update! Upon my review, the owner sent me a letter with a check refunding me the whole $202 dollars. He also offered a cleaning at no charge and, if I decide to take the offer, either the owner or the manager of the company will accompany the cleaning team to make sure there are no issues. Lastly, he let me know that the supervisor that was in charge of the cleaning I had received had been fired because of this and multiple incidents. Great customer service! I'm happy to receive the refund and will consider booking the follow-up cleaning with them. read more

Very expensive. They left 30 minutes early and I still got charged for the full time, despite assurances that they pro rated. They also said they would vacuum the couch, which I reminded them of during the session, they promised the would before they left and didn't vacuum it. Wouldn't use again. I was really excited to use Mary's Cleaning Service to have my house thoroughly cleaned before my first baby was born, especially after reading the glowing reviews. Since the fee was double that of most cleaning services ($230), I expected a deep cleaning that left my house sparkling. I have never been so disappointed in my life. The cleaning crew came while I was in the hospital and my mother in law called to tell me she was concerned about the quality of the service. My husband came home and was completely appalled. The furniture had not been moved to clean underneath and there was dirt and dust balls rolling under the couches and benches. The carpet upstairs had dog hair all over it, there was toothpaste stuck to the tile in the bathroom, there was a dry mud streak in the entryway where my boots had been. And annoyingly, many of my small decorative things had been put back in an odd way or the wrong place. For example, there was a paper plate under my spider plant to catch excess water and it was taken out and put under a silver vase...?! I could go on and on. He called the company and the manager was responsive and came right over to evaluate, which I appreciate. Unfortunately, even after she directed them to clean much of the house for a second time, we have continued to find areas that were untouched. I rolled out the couch ottoman and found that it hadn't been moved or vacuumed under AT ALL. After all of this, the company didn't even offer a discount. I really liked the way these folks were "presented" by the owner, the estimate made sense, and the crew that showed up was good. But while they were efficient and fast, there were areas (especially high ones) that weren't addressed in our whole-house brush-clean moving-out cleaning. I didn't realize there were entire ranges of shelves that weren't cleaned until I got up on a ladder myself to check. So while what they cleaned was well-done, I have a less-than-great feeling about them for what they didn't do. read more

I hired this cleaning service because I needed a move-out cleaning. All of my belongings were out of the apartment and I only really needed the walls and floors cleaned. I hired them based off of their customer service on the phone. I should have gone with a more well-known service based on the amount of cleaning they did. I have a studio apartment which is relatively small. I am moving out on Wednesday and I wanted to make sure that my apartment was 100% clean so that I could receive my entire security deposit back. When they came in I specifically said that I mostly wanted them to clean the walls and the floors, but I did want the appliances cleaned as well. I left them alone ( which was probably my first mistake) for the hour that they were supposed to be cleaning. I came back and I noticed that the walls were still dirty so I asked about it. They say that they could not get the dirt off of the walls and couldn't use anything because the paint would come off. This seemed fishy to me, but I believed them and then I made a quick sweep of the apartment before leaving them to finish the rest of the cleaning because I had an interview. After they left, I went back inside and noticed that the floors still had dust bunnies in some spots and even the trimming on the walls had some dirt and other stuff on them. I decide to double check and make sure that this cannot be scrubbed off of my walls with a TOWEL AND WATER. Immediately when I start to scrub the walls all of the dirt begins to come off. They didn't even try to clean them even though that was the main purpose of me hiring a cleaning crew. After that I spent then next 20 minutes (before my landlord came to view my apartment and make sure it was clean) CLEANING MY OWN HOUSE after they left. There was 4 people with an hour and 15 minutes to clean a STUDIO apartment, but nothing other than the appliances and bathroom ended up getting cleaned. Keep in mind that the apartment is completely empty besides the stove and the fridge. They did clean them very well, but that was not the only thing that I paid for. Overall, I recommend you find a different cleaning service unless you want to stay in your house and make sure that they do the job correctly. read more

We've been using them for years, but the most recent time was the Wed. before Thanksgiving. i don't know if it's staffing problems, managing problems, or both, but it was awful. It was almost as if the cleaning crew brought in dirt from the outside and left it on our floor. They swept off the top of our kitchen table but not the ledge. They ignored the counters, the kitchen floor. The worst: when we moved our bathroom waste basket, there was a pile of dirt behind it that definitely wasn't there the morning before they came. ABSOLUTELY NOT!!!!! Needed specific cleaning prior to moving into a condo. Called the office that I only needed the cabinets, refrigerator, and bathrooms to be cleaned/disinfected and the window sills wiped. The floors had just been installed and the condo was vacant so no additional cleaning was needed. I had even told them they didn't need to bring a vacuum cleaner as they wouldn't need it. Crew of 4 arrived promptly @ 7:30, bringing a vacuum cleaner, and their supplies. They started getting their stuff out when I noticed they had no disinfectant, Lysol, etc. I asked them what they were going to use and they said they only had Murphys oil soap or vinegar. I told them that was unacceptable and that I had specifically told the office I needed the kitchen and bathrooms to be disinfected. I asked them what would they have used in the bathroom??? They said they also had "scrubbing bubbles". After a long discussion amongst themselves they finally got the phone # to their office and asked them what they should do. They handed me their phone and the woman in the office said they didn't have any Lysol, etc. and if what they did have wasn't good enough she would pull the crew off. I told her to pull them then, as it was not what I had asked for. The crew started to pack up, get their coats on..... when one woman pulled out a spray bottle. One of the crew that did speak English asked me to smell it and see if that was what I was looking for. It was, so they started to unpack again and get off their coats, scarfs, etc. Their cleaning was marginal at best. I had noticed one of the window sills, which is very deep, in the living room was still covered in dust. I asked 3 different times if all the sills had been cleaned and they all assured me that they had been!!! I cleaned it myself. They finished @ 8:45. I was told I owed for 1.5 hours. I said it wouldn't be 1.5 hours until 9:00 (they charge in 15 minute increments after the 1st hour) and that they also weren't working when they were discussing/repacking their supplies, calling their office, etc. when they didn't think they had the right cleaners. In the end I had to pay for 1.5 hours, though they only worked about 1 hour. Their were other issues as well, but the end result is STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!!!!!!!!! read more
