We were most interested in a couple of the dishes, most notably the pettole and arancini. We walked up on a Sunday for lunch and none of the items we wanted were on the menu! The owner mentioned how she rotates all the menu items every month on the 15th, migrating between specialty dishes between regions of Italy for 11 months of the year, then bringing the customer favorites back for the last month. What a unique concept! Unfortunately most of the menu items available didn't interest us that much, so we ended up only ordering the tiramisu. Chef did offer us samples if we were interested which I appreciated. Tiramisu ($8) - The owner warned us when we ordered that she had just made the tiramisu around 30 minutes prior, so the espresso still needed time to soak into the ladyfingers. Electing to get lunch at a different spot, we ended up waiting about 2 hours before digging in. Unfortunately due to being kept cold in our cooler, the bottom layer of ladyfingers still hadn't reached the point of being soaked enough to be tender. Another hour or two outside of the cooler solved the issue. An $8 order contains a pretty large tiramisu square, hand cut and fit snugly into a takeout container. It's such a rich dessert that eating only about a third of it completely filled me up. It's creamy, it's tender, it's sweet, it's thick. It's night and day vs. store bought tiramisu, being probably two or three times the richness of mascarpone and cream, although not cloyingly so. The espresso soaks in well after a couple of hours, giving tenderness to the ladyfingers and an espresso taste that isn't bitter or acrid at all. Yum! (5/5) I don't eat tiramisu all that much, but I loved the one served at Pesco. Given that they have different menu items every month, it seems like this food cart is a great place to visit for plenty of variety. I'll have to keep an eye out the next time I'm in town!

The owner asked how spicy I wanted the yellow curry, from 1 to 6, 6 being Thai spicy. I ordered 5 and it was not as spicy as I expected, I felt I could've had a 6 or stronger. My partner had spicy 5 with the pad kee mao, and it was pretty spicy. I'm glad we stopped by this little place to try it out. I'm usually not a big fan of food trucks, but Thai on the Mountain impressed me. I hope to come back soon if I return to this area again.

The yellow curry had great flavor to it and was packed with veggies, but didn't have too much chicken. One thing I loved is that there's a wide range of spice levels. There are 7 options ranging from "no spice" to "extra Thai spicy" and there's an 8th option to have the spice on the side. Every Thai place has different definitions of mild/medium/spicy, so I appreciate having these different options. I would definitely come here again even if my experience wasn't 10/10 because it's one of the better food options in the area.

The burrito was wet but I think I might have preferred it the other way. Lots of tasty chunks of meat. Not sure how I'd order as a regular burrito though next time. My wife got the fish tacos. They were really juicy and not necessarily in a good way. The fish ended up with almost a ground meat texture. It tasted fine but the mouth feel was way off. Prices are on par with similar places. The food was truly an epic part of our wedding because of Shane and all of his amazing staff. Shane is an amazing guy and clearly a very talented chef, but even more impressively, his staff were like a well-oiled machine. The food came out quickly, hot, and delicious. Shane's pride in his food and his staff is palpable, and really added an extra layer of reassurance and competence to a day that really needs that. The food was also truly INCREDIBLE. This is definitely a great lunch option if you are very, very hungry for Mexican street food and want to get very full for less than $15. Located right on First, next to Randonne coffee, they have picnic tables behind the truck with stellar views of the Columbia. I've seen families bring wine and beer and enjoy tacos and burritos in this casual setting. There is another Mexican food truck in the parking lot next to Totem Pole Plaza. Chapalita's iopposite and you can park right in front of the truck or on 1st. I've had the carnitas burrito and the pork had a nice kick to it. Combined with beans, rice, guacamole, lettuce and sour cream, it was very satisfying. There is MoCo, a restaurant that is open for lunch and dinner Thursday-Sunday and serves pizza, burgers, salads and is excellent. Brenna's Market open everyday where in addition to groceries, beer and wine, you can get wraps and sandwiches. Randonne Coffee for rich and delicious coffee, breakfast sandwiches and the most buttery scones. And the two Mexican food trucks for burritos, enchiladas, tacos, quesadillas, tortes, birria tacos and more. Whenever I'm in Mosier I stop at one or all of them! It's all about supporting local while enjoying the gorgeous scenery, hiking the trails and taking in the spectacular river views of this magical area.
