She then tried to charge me for SNS, even though I had asked for gel. After speaking with her about it, she switched it back. A month later, I tried to take the SNS off myself, but without success. I called the salon and asked if they would take it off for free since I never asked for it in the first place (I was happy to tip though!). The person who answered the phone spoke to Jimmy, one of the owners, and Jimmy agreed that I could get it off for free, so I made an appointment. I got a pedicure and I got the SNS taken off. I spoke to the person at the front and told her that Jimmy had said I wouldn't be charged for the SNS removal. The person asked the other owner, Jimmy's wife, Katie, and Katie refused to honor it. She said it was a "miscommunication." Again, hate to be a complainer, but I thought it was important to share. I won't be going back.

I told the lady working on me that they looked lumpy and was told that's normal before putting the top coat. Needless to say they look horrible , lumpy, a completely different shape and different lengths. Stay far away unless you're blind and want lumpy nails. I needed a full set and a pedicure. I'm not sure who my manicurist was, but she was nice, once I sat down. I asked for a curved style tip and, by the end, there was no curve. And got a little aggressive with the dremel. My nail beds are very sore, and I bled in 3 places. She did not acknowledge the blood on my finger(s). Also I was given a pedi the old way, not in a spa chair. I was a little disappointed, but hey, whats a girl to do? I have a toe nail that is growing a little thick, and asked for it to be filed down a bit, to smooth it out. Didn't happen. She did honor me by not cutting into the sides of my toe nails, as I asked. When it came time to pay $60. Wow. That's expensive for a full set and a pedi I won't be coming back, due to the painful filing, and the issue of not delivering what I was asking for. Since it was my first experience with gel, I gave them the benefit of the doubt and decided to come back today for an acrylic full set. Unfortunately, today's experience was much worse. Before he even put the tips on, he asked me at least five different times what color I wanted. I explained each time that I was still deciding because I wanted to look through the color book first. Instead of giving me a chance to choose, I felt rushed throughout the entire appointment. The nail tech was also on the phone during my service, and I felt like I didn't have his full attention. I asked for a simple, short, super square acrylic set, but my nails ended up rounded, uneven, and sloppy. I also requested a simple two-color design using a pastel yellow and pink. Instead, he used a neon yellow instead of the pastel shade I had chosen and never gave me the opportunity to choose the pink shade I wanted. As soon as he applied the colors, I politely told him I didn't like them. He huffed, walked away with a visible attitude, and made me feel uncomfortable for simply speaking up about something I hadn't asked for. At that point, I didn't want to argue, so I kindly asked him to just do white instead. Overall, I left disappointed. I expect to be able to take my time choosing my colors, have my requests listened to, and be treated respectfully if I ask for a correction. Between feeling rushed, the poor communication, the attitude when I spoke up, and the uneven quality of the nails, this experience fell far below my expectations.
