She then tried to charge me for SNS, even though I had asked for gel. After speaking with her about it, she switched it back. A month later, I tried to take the SNS off myself, but without success. I called the salon and asked if they would take it off for free since I never asked for it in the first place (I was happy to tip though!). The person who answered the phone spoke to Jimmy, one of the owners, and Jimmy agreed that I could get it off for free, so I made an appointment. I got a pedicure and I got the SNS taken off. I spoke to the person at the front and told her that Jimmy had said I wouldn't be charged for the SNS removal. The person asked the other owner, Jimmy's wife, Katie, and Katie refused to honor it. She said it was a "miscommunication." Again, hate to be a complainer, but I thought it was important to share. I won't be going back.

I told the lady working on me that they looked lumpy and was told that's normal before putting the top coat. Needless to say they look horrible , lumpy, a completely different shape and different lengths. Stay far away unless you're blind and want lumpy nails. I picked out a nail polish color. There are polishes in 3 different areas. Not a good look. Call me OCD if you want. Polishes should all be in one area and a bit organized by either brand, style or color. Not saying that it should be perfect, but it was hard to find what I was looking for. I needed a full set and a pedicure. I'm not sure who my manicurist was, but she was nice, once I sat down. I asked for a curved style tip and, by the end, there was no curve. Although, I do have to say, I'm satisfied with the finished look. Not exactly what I was looking for though. One thing that went wrong was that it was painful when she filed. And got a little aggressive with the dremel. My nail beds are very sore, and I bled in 3 places. She did not acknowledge the blood on my finger(s). Also I was given a pedi the old way, not in a spa chair. I was a little disappointed, but hey, whats a girl to do? I have a toe nail that is growing a little thick, and asked for it to be filed down a bit, to smooth it out. Didn't happen. She did honor me by not cutting into the sides of my toe nails, as I asked. When it came time to pay $60. Wow. That's expensive for a full set and a pedi I won't be coming back, due to the painful filing, and the issue of not delivering what I was asking for. I was promptly greeted and my pedicure station was setup. I had to wait about 20 minutes for someone to get started. The lady who did my pedicure was awesome. She was neat and attentive. The guy who did my manicure, however, was not. He was rough when pushing my cuticles back, and he kept jerking my arms and hands around. I had SNS on my nails and he did not file it all away on the right hand. When I pointed that out, he buffed one finger with the file and tried to keep going. Little hairs and threads were clearly on the nail and he didn't want to get them. I had to stop him a few times to address these things. Once I was finished, I was struggling to put my shoes on, and he just walked away lol. The lady who did my toes saw me and quickly helped. The total for a gel manicure and a regular pedi was 67, so the price is right! I would come back again but make sure that I get someone else to do my hands.
