Popcorn is hard and does not taste fresh.

We will not be coming back. We went to the one in Canmore on 8/9/2026 arnd 430pm. Popcorn was nit fresh and it was chewy, and one of the sales ladies was super rude. She does not know how to talk properly. We were waiting for our order to be finalized. Already paid and she just said can you get out of the way without saying excuse me, can you please wait for your order on the side so I can ring other customers. they have to teach proper customer Service.

Overall experience: 5 Location: 5 Customer service: 5 Variety: 5 Cleanliness: 5 Affordability: 5 We visited this Mary's Popcorn Shop yesterday that was conveniently located in the pedestrian area of the small town of Banff, Canada. As we were walking by the shop, we was droven in by the delicious looking popcorn that was in their front window. Upon entering the shop were quietly greeted by a friendly young lady, who offered us some samples to help narrow down our selections. They had like 5-6 different flavors of popcorn, which made our decision very difficult. Our overall experience was very good, and I'd highly recommend this popcorn shop to anyone who wants a nice snack. @glampedlife

Mary's Popcorn Shop is popular in Canada and you can smell it while walking passed it. Freshly made and flavored popcorn in the store, you can watch the workers work tirelessly throughout the year. I had to give it a try since I love popcorn. I got the Banff mix (white cheddar with classic caramel) and the Chicago style (cheddar cheese with maple syrup pecan). I wanted to try all of the flavors. Both salty and sweet mix. Reminds me of the popcorn in the cans that we used to get during the holidays. Great for travel and they taste somewhat fresh. Worth a visit and try when you're in the area. Service is quick, I went when there was no line and walked out with tons of people in line. It's a small store front only for purchase, not much parking on the Main Street but there are parking garages around. I personally liked getting the mixes because it wasn't too salty or too sweet.

We were walking around Banff as tourists do and discovered Mary's Popcorn Shop and after some generous sampling offered by the nice and welcoming staff, we left with many many bags of popcorn which were devoured by all. Maple, caramel, cheese... delicious intense flavours. Nothing cheap here.

Excellent maple popcorn, excellent service! Can't wait to come back! I hope they make a hard tin because some needs to come home with me!

Popcorn smell is a trigger for me. I can be so full I'm ready to pop but as soon as I smell that delicious popcorn smell I crave it so bad and will eat it to the point of discomfort. This is what happened to me when coming across Mary's Popcorn Shop while walking around downtown Banff after a late lunch. I smelled it on the street. I walked by, trying my best to resist, but made it about 5 feet before turning around and getting a small buttery bag to go. I didn't even wait before tearing into that bag. I had no chill. It was so good, so buttery, so delicious. I wish I had gotten a bigger bag (heads up--the smalls are SMALL). I can't speak to any of the other flavors but the plain salt and butter, fresh out of the popper, is bangin'.

I am so American, my mindset was "When in Canada try anything Maple flavored!".... and that is exactly what I did. They had numerous flavors, and my favorite flavor has always been Chicago (cheddar caramel mix), but I knew I had to try something that's usually not offered where I am from, and the Maple Pecan flavor caught my eye! I asked which flavor they were making in the window too, and they said Salted Caramel. But I went with Maple Pecan anyways and it was delicious! They have small, medium, large sizes you can choose from. They are kinda expensive so I went with a small and it was plenty! The medium was too pricey and big in my eyes. I think the small was like $6-7? The boys tried it and loved the Maple Pecan as well. I would definitely come back just for this flavor! It was tasty!

Great tasting popcorn that doesn't go stale in 5 mins. Freshly made throughout the day. They really jam it in the bag and for a small bag it's enough to share, depending on what flavour you choose it can be quite rich. I wish the prices were a bit more standard versus the different flavours are a different cost. Go in and try a free sample, you'll want to buy the moment you try.

They had entire walls of vinegars and oils to sample + little toast pieces and popcorn to try with everything. I had no idea coffee, lychee, or rosé balsamic vinegar even existed. Next to each item, there was a handout describing the flavors and uses + a recipe-- super neat! I loved how you could buy cute mini-bottles or the larger bottle size. Extra points for having self-serve water available, hand sanitizer, and no one trying to pressure you into buying anything! The staff member at checkout was friendly and wrapped my goods in paper, but you can ask for bubble wrap if needed and store packaging if you buy a set of 6! What a neat find~ Evoolution is definitely a good stop for souvenirs for your friends or own kitchen-- excited to use the lychee white balsamic vinegar. :D I'll be back next time I'm in town!

Prices are quite reasonable for the quality and selection. Lets just say we weren't planning on checking in luggage on the way home, but after a stop here, we decided it'd be worth to check one in! We basically tried all the olive oils, the white vinegars and black vinegars. I didn't know that the vinegars could be added to soda water to make light summer refreshments! Each of these also had a recipe card to refer to so you get inspiration too. Staff was really helpful and probably quite amused by how excited we were to learn and try all the different products. It was clean and a comfortable environment so we didn't feel rushed or pressured to buy anything, but we genuinely wanted to bring home so many flavours and different types of products. Definitely recommend at least popping in to see what catches your eye!

Soup Sandwiches to the rescue!!…read more After a day of hiking and exploring in the Mountains, we were tired, sore, and hangry. Noshing throughout the day we were set on a good soup and sandwich combo. We checked multiple locations and either it was high-end foo foo or just more than we want or just worse. It was pub grub and they had one soup and they weren't sure what it was. We found Wild Flour. They offer multiple soups and sandwiches and a few treats. Kathy selected a carrot fennel bowl (massive) and served with fresh bread and butter, I had a meat and cheese grilled cheese on a focaccia bread, Of course we "shar-zies" and the comfort was enjoyed. The team at 630pm was helpful and prompt guided us as we had not eaten at Wild Flour. Good food, reasonably priced for Banff is a find. Go to Wild Flour and enjoy... we did.
