Wow so good!! I was invited by a friend to eat here.so happy for the invitation. We both ordered carne asada Huarachas. I never had them before. All I can say it was delicious!! Huarachas are like sopes but long. Huaraches are thick corn masa tortillas that like a tostada has white beans ,lettuce, cojita cheese, carne asadaand a generous amount of avocado all for $7. So worth it! All there condiments are all on little separate bags like Jalapeños, limes, cabbage mix Etc.... The staff was very friendly. I highly recommend this food truck!! I feel honored to write the very first review of "Mary's Tacos". And considering this place has been open since April 2016, I am surprised that there isn't any Yelp reviews. The main reason being is because this place is in the quiet town of Angels Camp (which has a population of about 3,800 as of 2018). And considering there really isn't much in the way of Mexican food out here, I figured I might as well take one for the team by writing their first review on Yelp. Since Angels Camp is not that big, there is only one true major street that goes through town, Main St. (also known as CA Highway 49). The easiest way to find Mary's Tacos is that it is a true TACO TRUCK! And it shares the same parking lot as Angels Food Market, Middleton's, and Good Stuff Thrift Store. Parking is fairly easy to find on any given day. Do keep in mind that they do have limited hours of operation but they are open 7 days a week from 11am-5:30pm. Prices are a bit steep for being a taco truck. Tacos run around $1.75 while Burritos run anywhere from $7 to $8. They also carry other popular items such as Cheese or Meat Quesadillas, Tortas, desserts such as Flan, and several beverages including soft drinks and Jarritos. On the day I came, I ended up ordering a Carne Asada Burrito for $7. At my request, I wanted no rice but extra beans. My burrito was ready within 3 minutes. Overall, my burrito tasted very homemade with a mild spiciness to it. There was also seasoned thin cuts of Carne Asada meat that had its own unique flavor to it. It was however a little bit on the greasy side but all of the ingredients made this an above average lunch. The ladies that work inside the truck were very friendly and courteous. From the times I've driven by, they have been busy, primarily during the early afternoon hours. Mary's Tacos is the ONLY taco truck in the Angels Camp and only a small handful within Calaveras County; the only others are in San Andreas, Valley Springs, and one all the way up in Arnold. But for a family-owned business, this is a place I would definitely frequent again when I'm in the area. My rating, an above average four stars. read more

Mary's Tacos was the best Mexican food I have had in Calaveras! I know that they are usually located in Angles Camp but they agreed to drive their truck up to Mountain Ranch for the Mountain Ranch Youth Alliance annual Harvest Festival. They did an amazing job! The service was excellent. In my experience they accidentally switched up my al pastor burrito with someone's steak burrito. Luckily it was my friend who was given my burrito and the funny part is... it was too spicy for him! I let them know and they offered to make us each another one for free. I declined because even though my friend likes his "bland" I was still very satisfied. At the end of the event they insisted I take an al pastor burrito home for dinner. I happily accepted.
