Going up to Angels Camp to visit for the weekend, something I look forward to is going to Taco Bell. Sounds crazy, but this one, after all these years, is still one of the best locations I've been to. The quality isn't as good as it used to be though, but it's still above the locations I go to back home in the Bay. The crunchy taco this time around was broken which was a bummer but did I still enjoy it, I did! The chalupa, still tasty, and the cinnamon twists are a perfect way to break up all the salt I just ate. Taco Bell has gotten more expensive over the years, and without the app. The value menu used to be $1 but now it's closer to $2. The app has special deals that aren't available in-store but for some reason creating an account has not worked for me. The drive thru was long, so we went inside and ordered from the screen. Once we placed our order, everything came out in less than 10 minutes. The good thing about ordering inside on the screen is that you are able to easily customize your menu items. You can get your cheesy bean and rice burritos or other burritos 'grilled', which makes it taste way better. I say all that to say, If you are a taco bell fan, this location does it better than most! read more

This is by far the worst Taco Bell I have ever been to. They have never ever gotten a single order correct, there is always something missing, something tastes off (usually the terrible soda), or it's literally just not even edible. Today, we not only got terrible tasting sodas that taste like club soda, the double stack Crunchwrap is not double/stacked but just loaded with dry refried beans, but we got a lovely hair in our dip. Yum. Paying $30+ and we can't even get food without hair in it or a decent tasting sodas. I get this is the bottom of the barrel for food options but at least have some level of standard. read more

We went to this restaurant and the service was ok but the freezes tasted like chlorine lowkey and the tomatoes in our taco tasted rotten, the red sauce tasted like it had been sitting out, the cuts in our two quesadillas were uneven and unfinished, and one slice of my friends quesadilla didn't have ANY cheese. When I told them my freeze tasted like that, they gave me a new one that tasted the same, if not worse than the first. Taco Bell has been getting worse and worse. Instead of 5 cheesey rolls they gave us 5 burritos. The burritos we ordered without onions or red sauce had it in there. The chips and cheese ordered only came with 4 chips in the bag. The Crunchwrap did not have anything inside besides sauce and the hard tortilla shell. The person at the drive thru on monday june 2nd at 2:40 pm had a very kind and calming voice. they provided great service and when we pulled up they were very helpful and had a great smile that automatically brightened my day. this person is an absolute asset to the store and in my opinion should be treated accordingly. the food was typical taco bell, and satisfied our hunger, but the real heart and spirit of this establishment was the worker that served us. read more

"Extra crispy cantina quesadilla" .. first off, not crispy.. flimsy as a night in the bedroom after partying in the 70s. Second way too much of the sauce that goes inside the "extra crispy cantina quesadilla". Asked for extra hot sauce packets, received two sauces and fork?! That specific order 2/10. Let me start this review on a positive note. When I was younger this location of Taco Bell was great and amazing and went above and beyond for its customers. Fast forward to the year 2023 and it has gone severely downhill! I have had it with this location being so terrible! Every time I order from there I never get my full order! The scumbag employees know they can short people items they ordered to save a few moments of effort in the drive through. What ever happened to the manager checking orders to make sure everyone gets exactly what they ordered. The ambiance of this place looks all nice and professional but after shorting people items they ordered it's all just a facade. This Taco Bell is is great! If you like waiting in line for 20 minutes for your order to be completely wrong this restaurant is for you. They work as a team to ensure the food they serve will come out so cold and stale that you will have no doubt that it was sitting around for hours! Their team is also very dedicated to helping reduce pollution by smashing all your food into 1 small bag instead for the boxes you would expect at other locations. All in all this is a great place to eat if you want to leave angry and disappointed every time. It really makes it worth paying extra for their items so they can get higher wages! Clueless! I know they don't pay these gals much money and they seem to be worth what they are paid. I had two issues: 1) I had to go to the counter and ask about my drinks. I don't know why I needed to that, but they quickly made them. 2) Taco Bell food is notoriously cold, so I typically just bring it home and nuke it. Of course it was cold, I commented. They agreed to make me a new burrito and make sure it was hot. How nice! Instead of making me another real one like I originally ordered, they just made me a bean-only burrito. Call me hangry I guess. As I drive up to place my order a loud truck approaches behind me. The worker asks for my order but can't hear me over the engine. I repeat my order. Silence. I repeat my order again (practically yelling). Nothing, nada, dead silence. I loudly ask if I should go to the window to order. This is followed by more silence. I decide to drive up to the window. I've been to many Taco Bell's and enjoy the food. Stopped in tonight and had the quickest service. Staff was getting the food out quickly and accurately, saw cars in the drive thru and a few people inside. Store was nice and clean. Hardworking staff, deserve to be recognized for doing a great job. But then again, she also complained about having to see white people in trucks...so who knows what's going on over there, lol. Mexicans don't like snow, so they don't live up here; I used to live in the valley and have discussed this topic with the local people, this is a fact.
