My go to when i want a perfect club sandwich. I have been coming here for years, and i can't ever seem to try anything else, because i love the Maseto's club sandwich so much, it's just fantastic! The other dishes look fantastic, and some day, i will do it, but damn. That club. It's perfection. One club is way more than one person can eat, so its a great sandwich to share. Perfectly toasted bread, mayo, fresh sliced roast beef, turkey, bacon, and amazing Cole slaw. You have to scrunch it down a bit, to get it in your mouth. Served with homemade chips, and a side of your choice. I always get the tortellini salad, its wonderful. Service is always friendly, and prompt. I have to say i'm a little disappointed that they are not going to be taking credit cards any longer, as many times i don't have cash on hand, and i don't like paying the fees that the ATM charges to get money at the restaurant. None of the staff--front of house or back of house--were wearing masks. None of their patrons were either. I've filed a food safety complaint with the Pennsylvania health department for follow up. I hope the staff at Maseto's become educated on the importance of masks as COVID counts are skyrocketing right now and show that they care about their customers by respecting them enough to wear a mask. read more

This place is a great, an old favorite. I think their club sandwiches are the best. The prices are maybe a little high but once you see the sandwich, you know why... they are huge, I think they put a 1/2 pound of meat on them. Could honestly make two meals out of them. Great place to stop and eat! We got off the highway and lucked out because this was the first place we saw. First off, it's quaint and has a pretty unique setup. And the people! Some of the nicest people I've ever met. They were extremely kind, really happy and very attentive! The food was really good! We started off ordering the reuben chowder soup unsure of what it would taste like; it was surprising good! The soup tasted just like you'd imagine a reuben tasting like if it were a soup. I ended up ordering a meatball cosmo. The meatballs were huge and the bread was fresh. More importantly, the meat to bread ratio was just right. And there was a good amount of cheese. FAN. TAS. TIC. I loved walking into the place and asking the lady at the counter, "What's your favorite?" and getting a somewhat disbelieving, "Oh, honey..." back. She then proceeded to tell me what her favorite was, and, well, it's now my favorite, too. I went down to visit a (hopefully future) customer and they work nearby. I was told that this is the best place for lunch around, and I am jealous that they have such a great place to eat nearby. Sooo good!! Maseto's sandwiches are one of a kind, the salads are huge, and the soup is hearty! At our last visit my son ordered the chicken planks, but they tasted like fish sticks. The waitress noticed and came over to ask him if they could get him anything else. Then another woman (an owner I believe) came over and insisted he order something else, on the house. Went to Maseto's just recently (have been a number of times in the meantime since my last review). This visit I finally branched out from just getting the 'Karen's favorite' sandwich. Needless to say the Italian Combo hit the spot as well (I'd definitely recommend adding the seasoned oil) and Maseto's continued to impress. It was the busiest there I've seen yet and the service that night was especially friendly. The food here is excellent but the system of serving and placing your order is completely unproductive. Especially at lunch time. Placing the order at the counter causes congestion as well as confusion and only two girls to take orders, ring people out, and bus and deliver food is a terribly long process. I recently stopped by Maseto's for a sandwich shortly after lunch time. I ordered what was basically a toasted turkey club sandwich that is dressed with coleslaw and some thousand island dressing. I ordered the sandwich to go and my house was no more then 3 blocks away. When I opened the box and grabbed the sandwich the bottom slices of bread was spongy and soggy. The amount of un-drained coleslaw and thousand island dressing was absurd. Crafting a sandwich takes care and thought, but its not rocket science. I wonder if the cooks at Maseto's would pay for, and eat what they served me? I doubt they would, yet I was charged $10 for a sponge of a toasted sandwich and broccoli salad that was comprised mostly of stems. To many of Williamsport's great places to eat have fallen tremendously. Its as if the owners and/or managers give up after the first few years of business and begin to think that: "its good enough". Maseto's is now guilty of the "its good enough" mentality. read more

Went here for a easy and casual dinner with parents. It's a no frills, pretty good food type of joint. I ordered the home-style meatball sandwich, which was hearty with decently flavored meatballs. The variety of sides: broccoli salad, applesauce, pasta salad, tortellini salad, etc. are a nice change from the usual chips and fries. All in all, Maseto's has a good variety. Parents ordered a Reuben and turkey & pastrami with coleslaw on top. Both seemed to enjoy it. My Dad, being a dad, finished his entire plate and helped me with my side of broccoli salad. Parents both had Imperial IPAs, the option of getting a beer is always great with deli sandwiches. I can also see this being a go-to take-out place to grab some dinner and a 6 pack or two on a Friday night after a busy week, if I were still a local. I'm giving this 3 stars because it truly was "A-OK". Is this my new favorite sandwich shop in Williamsport? No. Would I go back next time I'm in town? Sure! read more

Horrible experience!! Ordered a grilled chicken salad to go with no tomatoes. Picked up my order and when I got back to work (Which was only 2 min away), realized my order was completely wrong. They gave me chicken salad on a salad. I called them and asked them to make me a new salad and deliver it for me, or give me my money back. I spoke with the owner on the phone when I called even. She stated that I said chicken on greens when I called..hence...grilled chicken on a salad. She said they would make me a new salad and could pick it up because they couldn't deliver. My office manager stopped to pick it up for me and they made her pay for the new salad unless we could give the old one back to them. First and foremost...usually when a restaurant screws up your meal they give you your money back and new food. You never have to return food! So I ended up paying for 2 salads, and 1 in which was screwed up. There customer service was awful, and as much as I loved there food, I will never go back again!!!!! read more
