One nice amenity in this park is a tennis court with lighting. However, this tennis court is strictly for HOA residents only. As a matter of fact, there are plenty of signs around letting everyone know that this is an HOA Park only. Plenty of pictures in this review to add more insight.

This is nice if there happen to be lots of kids in the main play area or older kids playing rough, etc. You can always migrate to a different play area. However, I've never seen this place crowded. If you have younger kids that are too small for the play equipment, this park also offers ample green space to just run around. There is a short trail that circles the park and a little pond overlook where you can watch the turtles/fish. You can fish here. There are bathrooms and water fountains here. Ample trash cans and benches as well. There is even a "little free library" by the main playground. You can reserve the picnic pavilion for gatherings. Parking lot is pretty small but I've always been able to snag a spot.

The big open field allows for different kinds of spirts, including but not limited to baseball, cricket, soccer, and lacrosse. Although this park doesn't have field lines painted on the grass, the field is well-maintained by the city of Cedar Park Parks & Recreation department. There is a small parking lot of about 10-12 spaces available, with a newly added concrete set of stairs down to the field earlier this year. There are also trash cans for anything you need to toss away and a dog poopy bag station near the parking lot. There are a couple of ways to enter the parking lot, either through the front at the parking lot or the back, which is more of a neighborhood entrance. Do note that Cluck Creek Park is a rainwater basin during storms so the field may flood a little at times. There also isn't a basketball court, volleyball court, or playground here, so plan accordingly. There also aren't any lights so hours are strictly sunrise to sunset. The park is adjacent to a greenway that runs through the Buttercup Creek divisions, which wild animals, including coyotes, have used to travel at night. The field is most beautiful during the spring when the wildflowers bloom, and it makes for a great place to picnic or watch the sunset.

My only small negative is that some of the flooring is coming up in areas. I don't think it makes it any more dangerous, but it could get worse over time. This park has swings, a fountain, a playscape, two covered picnic tables with a grill. but no restroom. This park is nestled into residential neighborhood and surrounded on all sides by homes. There is a giant rock wall on one side, and most of the path is dirt. It's very cool with the canopy of trees overhead. The only downside is the runners and bikers; otherwise, it's a nice walk. There is a parking lot with a bathroom beside it, and the two paths are labeled. Maybe next time we will take the other loop.

It is just another addition to the 28 mile, or so, loop around Lake Georgetown. I like to park at Overlook Park and walk over here. Lots of beautiful scenery with Blue Hole, that famous hole that never dries up, just a mile or so from San Gabriel Park. Booty's is home to the John Ischy Archeological Site which is protected by the North Rim of the San Gabriel, which I've yet to find. Also home to Booty's is the Georgetown Challenge Course. Along the trail from Booty's to San Gabriel Park are a couple of cool spots for bird watching and star gazing, and, of course the challenge course. Lots of the trail is lighted and offers three different surface areas like concrete, crushed granite, and, asphalt. It's beautiful and peaceful. Please help keep it that way. This park is isolated with only one way in by vehicle, but, several options by foot. Whether or not you do the full 28 miles around the lake, you will enjoy yourself here. Not only can you get your exercise on, but, this is a beautiful place to just come and veg out, read a book, or have a picnic. There is also a large covered pavilion that would be great for large gatherings. Booty's is good for the entire family, and, of course dogs. Please scoop your poop.
