**SPECIFICALLY REVIEWING THEIR ANNUAL HOLIDAY CRAFT SALE from 2024**…read more Really, really loved this craft sale. They had several rooms with dedicated to specific types of products from different vendors and very reasonable pricing. The parking was fairly easy, with a protected light for your exit. They allowed my sister to use the restroom. Rooms I remember: - Small space off to entry's left for thrifted/second-hand items - Medium sized room on right for knitted goods - Book sales (some of which may have been second-hand) - Room for second-hand board games, VHS, DVDs, Blu-Rays, etc. - Three or so rooms of crafted items. These sellers had everything from jewelry, crafts, holiday decor, bags, dolls, stuffies. Many of them had a social media account (Facebook, Instagram) and took electric payments (e.g., Venmo). I loved meeting new local artisans and following their accounts. And, I appreciated the protected traffic light to help me exit the parking. If there are any gripes, it's that it can be a little tricky to get off I-680 to get here, so take your time. Also, the parking lot is shared with a park, which attracts a lot of families with young kids as you enter the right side of the parking lot. Take your time and try not to be in a rush as you find parking.

They also have an All-you-can-Eat PANCAKE BREAKFAST the 1st Sunday of every month 9-11am! The breakfast now gives you a choice between pancakes or french toast, 2-3 sausages, scrambled eggs and coffee or juice. Pros: Cheap breakfast on a Sunday Supporting the local Senior Center

As a volunteer at the Mountain View Senior Center, I cannot speak highly enough about the staff!…read moreEvery single staff member cares about each person who walks through the doors! They make sure these seniors have recreation opportunities through events and daily programs such as technology classes, pickle ball, ping pong, pool, blood pressure checks, free phone checkouts, a book club, group movie events and much more. Beyond recreational opportunities, the senior center serves lunch to a large number of local seniors each and every day. The lunch is nutritious and caters strictly to the diet of older people. You would not believe the number of compliments I hear as people leave after lunch. The senior center also has 10 cent books to purchase. The staff works really hard to plan events such as dances, socials and an annual bazaar during the holidays with vendors from the community. The people who work at the Mountain View Senior Center go above and beyond on a daily basis and it shows! The Senior Center is available without membership costs, registration and is free for all people 55 and older.

They did the best they can to make accommodations and help my patient become more independent. She is able to get discharged today after a month of staying there recovering from a hip fracture. She was there for more than 4.5 years till her passing in Dec 2021, in her late 80's. We can't be grateful enough to the entire staff (from Management/ Administration to floor staff, in all the shifts), who made this facility a home away from home during her entire stay there and welcomed our family with warmth, any time of the day, even multiple times in a day. Not only did they take care of her physical needs, but also provided her technical help to use her cell phone / tablet so she could attend and listen to spiritual discourses, to nurture her soul too!! Some of the staff are fluent in some of the Indian languages, in particular Hindi, that made it easy for our mom to communicate. The entire staff (CNA, LVN, therapists, Social Services, Activities Room, Kitchen, Front Desk, Facility/Equipment/Grounds, etc.) is very caring, warm and considerate. Even during Covid, they did their best, in spite of shortage of staff, personal risks, and all other challenges and issues of dealing with a very dangerous and deadly pandemic. After the new owner and management took over this facility and renamed it, we continue to visit the facility periodically, to express our gratitude. We also continue to refer this facility to our friends for their loved ones. Some of the same staff still work there, remember our mom fondly and always welcome us. The facility is spacious, airy, bright, with all rooms having windows, and a nice garden outside, for walks, family gatherings, and occasional celebrations for the staff and residents. In summary, we are very happy and continue to recommend this facility to our friends for their family members, even after 4+ years because they have continued to maintain the same standard of care, per our occasional drop-in visits. When we drive by this facility, it warms our hearts! Though the rating we gave is 4 stars, it certainly exceeds that, and the facility continues to strive to get better. With heartfelt gratitude, Amlani family
