But it was a bit disappointing that our ultrasound prints had a few errors. If I had realized that what we saw on the TV screen was going to be what was printed on our images, I would have spoken up. My last name was misspelled, and the tech had selected "third" trimester when I'm very much in my first. These errors were printed on our images, and while otherwise it was a good experience, I feel I can't really share the pictures from my very first ultrasound. Both were super welcoming and made us feel so comfortable. Daniel really took the time to walk me through the different packages and choose an option that made our experience 10 times better than we anticipated. She even up sold me, which I don't mind when I feel like it's worth it. During our session, Shelby was so nice, walking us through the process, talking to the baby and really made us feel special, and that's important knowing she does this everyday. She was also very informative of the additional perks that we could participate in as part of our visit, and made sure to share brochures and detailed information. We had some trouble getting the baby to stay in a position to get the best image so unfortunately/ fortunately we have to do a follow up session, but we are looking forward to it.

There is plenty of free parking in their parking lot, there is a receptionist on the first floor to give directions where to go or help with any other needs. Beth Israel's's Urgent Care is located on the second floor, there is an elevator a wheelchair if needed. The office suite is clearly marked urgent care, very important. If you are stressed or in a situation you don't want to have to second guess where to go. My doctor examined me thoroughly and had a medical assistant. My exam was quick. This is urgent care and being quick is a good thing. . I did not have to go to an emergency room for which could take hours maybe even days to be seen, especially at a non Beth Israel emergency room. Even then, taking up the space and time in an emergency room makes it difficult for those people that are really in crisis with a high need medical issue. If I needed an emergency room, BI Urgent Care would have sent me or made sure I got there safely. So this was the perfect option for me rather than waiting for an appointment after a minor car accident. Or emergency room. I'm very pleased with Beth Israel, as medical provider in all areas of care including surgeries. Hands down, the best option. Discharge/service note was giving to me at record speed and my medication was called in in the same manner. I've been coming for my primary care to this location for several years. Professional staff at the front desk make my visits run smooth. the doctor examined me, I felt confident in his ability to assess me. Today was pleasant and efficient I was in and out of there quickly. And that's what I want when you have been in an accident or some other life incident.

Plus he is just so so knowledgeable or he knows the right people to refer you to if he needs to. There's a lab onsite so you don't have to travel to the main hospital for that. I've had my fair share of health issues and I always feel welcome and safe and understood here. Oh and they're always running either on time or early, I've never had to wait. Wicked responsive on patient site too. Location is nice and easy to get to and has security before the elevators which is a nice touch in the area. So glad they take my newly changed insurance, I was almost willing to pay out of pocket to keep coming here!

I received no less than 6 emails and texts to remind me of the appointment and to pay the copay, which I prepaid online. After I left work early and waited 1.5 hr at BMC, someone came to tell me that they cannot see me today because they did not receive the images from my prior mammogram, and I needed to reschedule. You couldn't have told me that 1.5 hr ago? I could've contacted the other clinic within the last 1.5 hr to have them send the images over. Whose responsibility is it to get the images? When I booked the appointment, I made sure to tell them my original mammogram was from another clinic. No one followed up with me. No one asked me to sign a release. They sure sent me enough reminders to get their money though. When I asked for my money back, I had to wait to "talk to the manager." They could not give me my money back, but told me to call the 800 number for BMC's billing dept. No, thank you! I'm not wasting any more of my time with BMC. I just disputed the charge with my credit card. This is not the standard of care that I would expect even at a small local rundown hospital, let alone what they claim they are at BMC. If you are looking for a high standard of care and a team that follows up and follows through, BMC is not it. My husband also had many bad experiences with BMC making appointments in the wrong department and cancelling on him without notice. When you are dealing with cancer or potential cancer patients, it doesn't seem to matter to them. Time is not of the essence. As long as they get their money, they're all good. Do yourself a favor. Go somewhere else. There are much better hospitals in Boston.
