We parked the table in my living room and recreated a dim spa environment in my living room. It was the most incredible experience. Katrina was the one doing my massage and I told her I really liked deep tissue and the greater the pressure the better. I picked up a 1 hour massage via groupon hoping to find someone I can go to on a regular basis and boy am I glad I booked with Katrina! I was able to upgrade to 1.5 hours and it went longer than that which was shocking but very appreciated. I definitely loved the character of the place... very warm and inviting. The massage table was heated which kept me very comfortable and Katrina was really fun to chat with and did an excellent job of working out my kinks. I basically let her do what she felt would work best for me. Obviously she asked what areas were bothering me, what I might want her to focus on, etc. I've tried a lot of different people over the years and I can say that I was extremely pleased. I had originally met one of Brie's old coworker's and was scheduled to see her. Unfortunately the girl had an emergency and cancelled the day of, so I decided to book online with Brie instead. I am so glad I did! I am now 37 weeks pregnant and I have had 3 massages with her now over the past month. I also get chiropractic care and love getting an adjustment right after my massage. My joints are so much easier to release and I feel I am in much better alignment to push this baby out. I had been experiencing a lot of mid back pain due to the increase in weight changing my biomechanics (and a minor fender bender), but it's finally letting up. I would definitely recommend Brie for a prenatal massage and I would imagine a regular massage would be even better. I do miss being able to lie face up/ face down.
