I was staying at the Park Lane and when I asked concierge for recs for a prenatal massage they only gave me hotel spas that were $$$$. After I bit of my own search I found Pavirin. They are extremely pushy about the tip to the point that they will call you to ask for more tip expecting like 30 percent, leaves you a bad taste in your mouth after having what is supposed to be a relaxing experience, really pushy and stalkerish about trying to get 30% to plus tip. Nadia was amazing! I have been in extreme pain for weeks and she was able to stretch and knead my aching body so I can stand upright now. Some muscles were a bit painful at times, but she clearly knew exactly what I needed. They are a block from the hotel we're in - very convenient. My husband and I spent $400 for a 90 minute couples massage. The 2 stars is because the massages were pretty low quality. It was bad enough that I wanted it to finish soon. I asked for medium to heavy pressure and I got a 90 minute body oil. None of my muscle groups were worked on. I asked specifically to have my shoulders worked on and I asked multiple times for more pressure. No change. Just more oil. For my husband, it was the opposite. He asked for light pressure and he can feel nails scraping his skin half of the time. The Thai stretching was nice (10-15 mins of our 90 min session). In terms of deep tissue and swedish techniques, this place does not deliver. We were pretty excited at first since it had a high yelp review and the Thai massage place I used to go to closed during COVID. This place was very disappointing. Also, they charge 3.99% on credit card payment. The good things about this place is that it's clean and conveniently located. The masseuses are not skilled. Not coming back. read more

I had sent my mom here in Sept and she had a great experience! However, my brother went today and the experience closed out on a very negative tone. When he came to the spa, the owner was welcoming, chatty and friendly. However after the massage at payment, there was a customer fee (which he found odd, but had no qualms about it). Yet when he gave the tip, she kept insisting it had to be 20% on top of the customer fee. Which left a bad taste in his mouth. He went to get a massage to relax and feel better but then got badgered for an additional tip. She told him 20% tips are not optional. I thought I had found a great massage spa to relax, (walking distance from me) but i guess I will have to keep looking. read more

I just had my first massage ever, and Emma was the best! I get tension headaches because of neck and back pain and I was in so much pain walking in. She knew exactly which muscles were tense and how to stretch them. I honestly think my headache is relieved now because of her massage - head/neck/back. Horrible, disappointing, and awful experience. Their staff are very very disrespectful and unprofessional. I made an appointment of deep tissue massage for my husband as a birthday gift. I spent long time looking for a professional massage, going through reviews on multiple platforms (google, Yelp, Red), eventually I decided to choose Pavirin because of all the good reviews. The appointment was booked 18 days ahead, and I confirmed the appointment TWICE through text. However when we arrived there on time (November 26, 2022 at 1 pm), the four ladies there looked at us surprisingly and said they were all booked at the moment. I told them I made an appointment long time ago. They told us to wait and they will double check. Then one of the staff came to me and said: "We are all booked for now. The current clients made their appointment long long time ago". I was like em excuse me so did I, and I confirmed with y'all twice. They didn't feel sorry for messing up at all. While I was still talking to this lady in the store, I got a phone call from a random number, which apparently was from the staff who set the appointment for me. No apology from her at all, she just went ahead and asked if we can come back in an hour and she will give us a $20 discount. We ended not not going back because this is just ridiculous. I just don't understand with the fact that I made the appointment more than 2 weeks ago, confirmed twice, how can they still messed up? How's the person taking the appointment not at the store and calling from a different number? I genuinely think this place is actually very sketchy and not legit considering how unprofessional these staff were. And I highly doubt all those good reviews are fake. We had a whole day arranged for my husband's birthday celebration, I was really looking forward for him to have a massage after a long week at work. My husband was also looking forward to have this massage because his back has been hurting a lot. Now because Pavirin, the whole birthday mood was ruined. What a disappointment. I feel like I'm floating because all of the tension from my body has been lifted. Gigi was amazing. Usually I have to tell my masseuse to go harder or help them figure out where all the knots are but Gigi did everything I could wish for without me saying a word! I'm very happy that I live near this haven because now I can spontaneously come by I highly recommend if you're someone who likes deep and strong massages.
