I've been coming here for years and from the service to the atmosphere to the massage, it's a superb experience. It's definitely worth the price. I really like the minimalism atmosphere. It smells really good here, the cucumber water is refreshing, and the masseuse's really try to give you exactly what you're looking for and check in with you. Highly recommended.

I'm usually a very lazy person when it comes to writing reviews, but I have to recommend this place for anyone looking for deep facial cleansing (especially for those with a lot of blackheads) and full-body massages! I've tried different spas in Flushing, Soho, and downtown Manhattan, and while some were far and others had just average service, I was always hopping from one place to another. But ever since my first experience at Yihan Spa on 62nd Street, I've never switched again. My husband and I have been coming here almost every month since last year for either the European Facial or a full-body massage, except for the last few months of my pregnancy when I couldn't go. Eli at the front desk is super nice! We usually book separate time slots through ClassPass, but we call Eli afterward, and he always helps us reschedule so we can enjoy our treatments in the same room at the same time. I highly recommend their European Facial - it's absolutely worth it. Not only do they expertly clean our skin, but they also massage our head and shoulders during the process. When they apply the mask (which is said to hydrate and fight aging), they even massage our arms and legs, making the entire experience incredibly relaxing. We can also customize the treatment based on our needs - for instance, if I want them to spend more time thoroughly cleaning our blackheads and pores or focus more on our shoulder and head massage. On top of that, the spa itself has a very peaceful and calming atmosphere, which I find incredibly comfortable and relaxing, especially if people appreciate a quiet environment.

I fell for the high yelp rating, but now im pretty sure a bulk were bots. 1) as someone else pointed out, they will aggressively tip-shame you, its quite shameless. Leaves a bad taste in the mouth when you leave. 2) the massage was really just mid. I did say hard but it just hurt, it was pretty obvious the guy was no trained masseuse. His nails also dug in sometimes, and he kept rubbing my hair up and it hurt. 3) the vip package says 1h 20m on their website and groupon listing but apparently its just 60min and a tea. Sucks if you already bought the groupon, cant change it. 4) There's a randomly added 15$ groupon charge at the end. Skip. There are better places that deserve you money. These guys are just scummy.

My fiancé surprised me with a couples massage here and it was great! He had done a ton of research to find a place that gave good quality massages and was also clean! We arrived early for our massage and they were able to take us right back. I liked that we were able to fill out the diagram to show where we preferred they concentrate the massage and where we wanted them to avoid. The masseuse confirmed when he walked in and then showed me the timer for 60 min before beginning. The ambiance was perfect and we both enjoyed our massages. They even had a bathroom with a shower and robes/slippers for us to use after we were finished. It's a step above your no frills massage parlor! I would definitely recommend going here for a quality massage! read more

After my husband didn't have the best experience, I went to try it for myself. From the moment I walked in, I noticed the calm, welcoming ambience. The team was very attentive, and my masseuse consistently checked in to make sure the pressure was comfortable and focused on the areas I noted in my intake form. I actually ended up falling asleep during the massage, which speaks to how relaxing it was. I will say that, like most spas, the experience can depend on the masseuse you receive, but mine was very positive. I also appreciated that the rooms appear to be set up with couples tables, making it a nice option for those looking to enjoy the experience together. read more

I wanted to share what an amazing experience I had at your spa. Richard was phenomenal, and his deep tissue massage was the best I've ever had. The staff was incredibly kind and welcoming, and the atmosphere felt safe and relaxing. I especially enjoyed the lavender essential oils and hot stones added to my massage. The pricing was also very reasonable. I discovered their spa through the ClassPass app and I'm so glad I did. I highly recommend their services and absolutely love this place. I have been coming here for years, but my most recent experience was incredibly disappointing. I showed up for a massage and was told that they moved my appointment and tried to contact me. The spa manager said that he "called me three times" and that I should have gotten an email and a text. I confirmed my phone number and showed him that I did not get any messages, and he then admitted that he could see in the system that my appointment had, in fact, NOT been moved. I requested a refund of my classpass credits, which he said he could not issue. I had to contact classpass directly, and they returned my credits. I won't be back. read more

5 stars all the way! My massage therapist Milan made quick but sensual work of my muscle tightness, and gave a 2 hour medium-deep full body massage that left me feeling like new! Sore because of the deep work on muscles I've been exercising, but that's a good thing; they're also nice and loose. He asked how his pressure was near the beginning and I got to tell him that my lower back had just spasmed, so could he go more slowly and add pressure more gradually in that region. He delivered with flying colors!! He messaged everywhere including my glutes, feet, belly, and face. And he did a couple things that I've never experienced in my ten years of receiving semimonthly massages! Truly a 5 star experience all around. Will definitely be back next time I'm in NYC. read more

Yihan spa is exactly what the body needs to relax and release all of the stress that gets built up living and working in nyc. Milan was incredible! I got the deep tissue massage and it was so good! I was overdue for a body scrub, found them on Groupon. However, I did have some issues. On the Groupon details, it says you pick the essential oils you want to use. I was not given a choice. It was a very cooling one that made me shiver. I told the lady I was cold and she just laughed not sure if she understood. The extra towels did not help and the room could have been warmer (not a heated bed) Hard to relax when you are cold. No moisturizer was offered after scrub which doesn't make sense when the body has just been scrubbed. For what I paid for, could have been better! read more

Was in need of a really good massage with a calm ambience; and that is exactly what I got here! The environment and the employees were so warm and inviting. The decor created such a cozy space, and made me feel like I was transported somewhere else. My massage therapist was Luna, and she was amazing! She first half of it was pretty deep and the perfect amount of pressure I needed, and the second half felt more therapeutic and relaxing. I left feeling so much better than when I came in! This place is quite literally a hidden gem. It's tucked into the street so you can almost miss it if you aren't looking for it. There aren't many spots like this in the area, so I'm so glad I made my way here; will definitely be coming back! read more

What a great massage! The atmosphere and the service is lovely, welcoming and warm. Overall it was a truly relaxing massage. They really put in the effort of working out all the kinks, knots and lumps. You feel like a brand new person afterwards. You walk in and you are immediately at ease. All the stress is left at the door wood decor and the sound of birds, that seem to be right in the place with you, and beautiful aromas. So serene. This is just the beginning! My girlfriend and I got Couples retreat package Hot stone massage with facial + champagne toast yum Everything about this place is beautiful and stress free. From the welcome with Jon or Jean (not sure of spelling) who was a great host to Bella and Allurah who provided excellent massages and facials. Very professional and funny! We will be back and if you have some kinks this is the place to visit. My face is still butter soft from the facial. Let me start off by saying I think this spa has a lot of potential, but the management team (Geoff), was making what was supposed to be a serene, relaxing experience a very unpleasant one. From the time I was booking the appointment he was very rude on the phone. He overbooked the spa and then sent an email 20 minutes before the appointment that it had been canceled. I went to salon (which took me 30 minutes) to find this out. Geoff was yelling at me over the phone and saying it was my fault I didn't see the email. He told us he could get us in the other location in 2 hours. I went to the other location and the man working the desk was rude immediately. No surprise... it was Geoff. The massage itself was fine. We hadn't even got to change before Geoff was knocking on the door telling us we had to leave because the the next appointment was coming. He then got us to check out and told us that we needed to tip more. If he wouldn't have made the experience so terrible, I would have! And still left 15%. We are regular members of their flagship location and when we heard they recently opened a new location geared towards couples we simply had to try it! The space is gorgeous, with nice relaxing wood themed ambiance! Their couple rooms are spacious with your own private bathroom and shower along with fresh hot Chinese red and green tea! I'm also happy to note that they have maintained pristine health and sanitation protocols and I was told everyone in the staff has been vaccinated! At first, I started coming to yihan spa because it was close to my job and they accepted classpass. I have been many times now and had so many great experiences that I would come even if that were not the case. I work in medicine and i'm on my feet all day. I have issues with posture and back pain I try and come every month or so for a deep tissue massage and I leave yihan feeling 1000% times better than when I arrived. So often when getting a massage in other spas I have to repeatedly ask for more pressure but here that has never been a problem. The staff are lovely and I cannot recommend this place enough!
