I went to this location after moving from my normal location in San Diego. They treated me like an outcast. I usually like aroma therapy and they never asked. My massage therapist was late. She didn't understand what I wanted. I asked to book another one in 2 weeks with someone else knowing I had another massage on file they said I didn't. I called my home location they said I definitely did and they should have seen that. I felt like If you don't want to treat me with the same respect then I'll definitely not be going back. I haven't and drove to the temecula location witch sucks cuz they where right next to me house but I refuse to be disrespected. read more

It went well and after that I went to leave but the women at the front desk started to hound me over and over to purchase some stupid package. Booked a facial at the Menifee location..gift certificate for my birthday...9:00 am. First person I see takes my life history...12-15 min..takes me to lounge to wait...5 min...into treatment room..gives me 5 mins. to undress..just top..this is for a facial...comes back and takes my same history..I told her ...didn't deter her. Now it is 9: 30 and she tells me we are running late. And will have to skip a couple of steps! So I go back to front and present my certificate and she says thank you for coming. I had put my tip in an envelope they provide. I asked how much was the facial and she said $75.00. I have half of a normal tip because it was for half the time. I tell her that my certificate was for $100.00..she had not checked or maybe she had and was planning to keep the rest. So she said you have $25.00 left to use. I had to ask her to write that on the certificate! What can you get for $25.00?..15 min massage? read more

Me and my husband used to love massage envy. The therapists are great, but the people working the front are terribly rude and will rip you off. They first lied about the freeze plus, messed up several appointments, and Laura is very smug and condescending. She tried on multiple occasions to tell me untruthful practices about massage envy and failed to sign my paper that specifically said, " A signed copy will be returned to you." Unfortunately this location does not understand that their deceitfulness will not get them recommendations or long term business. :( read more

Massage Envy on Murrieta Hot Springs is falsely billing people. I've visited this location and had a wonderful experience at first. The front office was polite, the building was beautiful and the massage was wonderful. After the massage was over I was escorted into a room where a lady came in and tried to pressure me into signing up for more massages. She would not take no for an answer and finally when she realized I wasn't going to budge she offered me a discount on three massages. She said if I paid for the three of them upfront I would get a discount and I would not have to sign any contract. I went so far as to make her write on the paperwork that this was not a continuing contract. That I was paying for three massages and I did not have to cancel anything. Long story short they kept billing me for those three massages over and over again and every time I would call I would have to prove to them that I had it in writing that there was no contract. They would finally apologize and say somebody in the front office "hit the wrong button" but then they would turn around and do it again. This happened four times. They know what they're doing and they should be sued because this is nothing but stealing. read more

I had a one hour deep tissue massage this morning with Caitlyn, I came out feeling so relaxed! If your a first time customer the price is reasonable, however if your going in for a follow up visit it is pretty pricey. They do try to sell you a membership on your way out so beware!!! read more

I've only seen one massage therapist here and she was alright. The room was so cold I was practically shivering, I guess she didn't turn the bed heater on. She kept shuffling around noisily and bumping into things & I could hardly relax. When she massaged my back, I felt she didn't know what she was doing. It reminded me of the episode of friends where Ross massages the old man with wooden spoons and tonka trucks, which I would've preferred over her prickly arms. When she got to my neck and shoulders, it was better. Scalp massage was good too. It really is a hit or miss (with all massage envys), but I guess I'll continue to go to my usual guy at the Temecula location for massages.. read more

This place is hit or miss...you either get an amazing therapist or the worst massage of your life. Find one you like and stick to it. They are all about the sells there as well. Always trying to sell something random. After 2 yrs of membership, they gave me the worst canceling experience. Well...actually Murrieta location was great and very very helpful in making it work. The Wildomar location sucks which was my "home" for some dumb reason sucked. read more

We informed the person that checked us out and she LIED and acted as if we got a good deal because we got the "free" enhancement that you already get every few months. Very disappointed. Here goes my review: Estheticians: Yelena: She did my first facial and was super sweet and nice and amazing. She explained everything that she was doing as she did it. She also did some nice neck and shoulder massage while i think the serum (?) was on. Yelena recommended what I should do to help my skin get better. My face has made a big improvement since I got my first facial Jocelyn: She is also amazing. She had suggested some other things to use besides murad since its a bit pricey and I have sensitive skin. While the serum was on she did an awesome face massage. I started to doze off. Massage Therapist: Maribel: She was the first therapist I tried. I told her about my needs and she worked them perfect. I had some low back pain and she did SUPER GREAT glute work. I felt sore (but only because it was a while since I got my last massage) and great the next day and a while after that. She has really good pressure and helped alleviate all my other problem areas. Leah: I woke up with a kink in my neck and Leah got it right out. She worked my shoulders really well and helped loosed up my tight neck. Her pressure was really good (i can only take firm) so Im pretty sure she can give a good deep tissue. I didnt want to get up after she finished working on me. Estella: I was having a lot of upper back pain. Estella knew exactly what to do to help relieve my pain. She mentioned that my shoulder was locked and she for sure unlocked it and made my back feel a lot looser. I felt so great after. Victoria: My neck, shoulders, and back have been bothering me the past week. I went in for a massage with her. She did such awesome work that I dont even feel my back hurting anymore and i dont feel sore. She really worked my neck and shoulders while I was face up and i could feel the muscles start to relax as she was working on it. When she had me flip over I mentioned to her that my mid back was bothering me. She worked my mid back and i felt sooooo good. She is my favorite one so far. This location is FABULOUS! Tanya at the front desk is such a breath of fresh air-so sweet and friendly and always has a warm and welcoming smile when I walk in. Lindsey is my massage therapist and she is AMAZING! I have had neck problems for years and seeing Lindsey on a regular basis has gotten rid of my headaches, given me more range of motion in my neck and has drastically lessened my neck pain. I've been a member for about a year now and am so happy that I got the membership! It really reminds me to make time for myself, especially with my hectic schedule. The massages have been good, nothing exceptional, until I got Jo. I was so impressed. Best massage in years! She did such a good job and really took the time to understand what I needed/wanted and did her best to actually deliver. A lot of the therapists are fairly young so maybe they will reach a higher caliber with time and experience. Not that they were bad, just not great. I was really disappointed with this place. Upon walking in it seemed decent; nice reception area, refreshments, welcoming smiles, etc. However, after sitting for a few minutes while filling out paperwork and waiting for my masseuse I overheard an employee badger a customer for over 10 minutes about why they should sign a contract to become a member. I dreaded my checkout from that point on. Next strike was my massage... I'd rate it at a 2 out of 10. The first 5 minutes were apparently a "warm up" where all she did was lightly rub my back... I think my 2 y.o. can do a better job at that. After her warm up she increased her pressure, supposedly. I had to ask her more than enough times to increase her pressure which didn't happen. At the end I noticed her stop time and I was literally on the table for 47 minutes... I paid for an hour massage. I asked the front desk about the time and they said it's a full hour: 5 min to consult with your masseuse, 50 min on the table and 5 min to get dressed. What a freakin rip! Anytime I've paid for an hour massage (and I've been to several different places) I've received a FULL hour of massage. Needless to say I won't be going back. read more

My ex boyfriend got me a membership last February and I enjoyed 2 really good massages. The 3rd massage was terrible and my boyfriend decided to transfer the monthly membership dues back to me (no wonder we broke up). So I put the membership on hold and reactivated it in December due to back issues flaring up. The last 2 massages the girl was terrible, told me she injured her hand and was glad I requested a light massage (uh no- deep tissue always.) And not only talked the whole time, but let out multiple SBD's in my face. (Who does that??) I asked for a 2 hour massage and had 2 different people with a break in the middle. It was not relaxing at all, and I had to explain all of my trouble areas all over again, while naked laying under the sheet) Needless to say I am not happy at all. I called 3 times last week to cancel my membership, and was told it wouldn't be a problem but the manager was conveniently away every time I called. This time after calling today 3 times- I got the manager who told me that not only could I not cancel my membership (not what everyone else on the phone told me) but that if I broke their contract I would be liable for the remaining 5 treatments. This is bad bad customer service and I will never go back to this place again. read more

After the holidays and a very stressful end of 2010, I desperately needed a facial. Although, I am not local to the area, my parents are, and my mom recommended I call Massage Envy for a quick pick me upper. I called in as soon as they opened and were extremely helpful and got me in within 30 minutes of my call. The whole staff was awesome and I had a great facial by Jo. She was professional and knew what she was doing. I have visited a many salons and spas, but Massage Envy is one of the best experiences with facials I have had. Unlike many other spas that add so many products that make your face burn and leave you in the room with your eyes covered and skin burning, Jo stayed in the room the whole time and even gave me a shoulder massage while the masks were setting. It was a very complete "spa" experience. I cannot speak for their actual massages but from what my parents have expressed, they are highly pleased with it and have become monthly members. I liked the recommended products as I was paying and appreciate not feeling forced to purchase them! Thanks for the relaxation, professionalism, and skin clearing! I'm about to report this Massage Envy branch in Murrieta Ca to the Better Business Bureau. I'm frustrated on how they taking care of our memberships. My husband is going overseas so I canceled his membership. It says in the contract we can cancel it as long we have the proof. I gave the copy of his ordered to Laura so She can give it to Sara. These two women are so called MANAGER but nobody took care of the paperworks. They don't even know where they put it very unprofessional. I told Laura She can review the CCTV that I gave it to her. I came today for My appointment ( Dec 9,2016) and they said they canceled my appointment because My card expired really? I already gave to Sara all the new information obviously She didn't take care of it and How come they didn't bother to give me a call if that was the case?.. Lastly My prepaid (gift card) is good till DECEMBER so What happened to the prepaid for December? What is this a rip off? PLEASE CANCEL MY MEMBERSHIP. I don't need this BS I'm sick and tired of these! It supposed to be relaxing When you go to this kind facility but with all the BS they giving me and How they treating me, I don't want to step in this facility anymore. Bad service and unprofessional staffs. I talked to Laura yesterday and I was asking for the phone numbers of the Corporate and their manager but She didn't gave it. I have been a member for several years at Massage Envy in Murrieta. I am always treated with kindness and professionalism from the moment I walk thru their doors. I have had massages with only three of the therapists there thus far, and they have all been amazing, each one having their unique gifts and styles of massage. I have chronic neck and back pain, and I have had some of the best body work done on me here at the Murrieta location. Each of the 3 therapists listened to my concerns, and really worked hard to help relieve my pain. I can't say enough positive things about them!! Love it here!! read more

The front office staff were friendly and extremely welcoming. That is the only reason for two stars! I had my first visit today and was extremely disappointed! I was scheduled for 11. When I got into the room it was 11:09. I know this cause I looked at the clock that was in the room. I explained exactly what I wanted worked on and was told it wouldn't be a problem. Not only did she not focus on my upper body she did not work on the specific issues that were of my concern, she didn't even focus on my lower back. Never touched the pectoral muscles. Once she finished I looked at the clock and it was 11:55. I understand that the hour is really only 50 min but she didn't even start until almost 11:15 (was probably a few minutes later but not positive). My husband has the monthly membership and I had every intention of joining as well but after the disappointing experience I refuse to signup!! Don't bother wasting your money. Oh and if you schedule a certain person and the therapist is not in on the day you schedule a month in advance for, they do not give any notice. read more

I never thought of myself as a guy who would get a massage for some reason. Boy was I missing out! I visited massage envy in murrieta after getting a massage gift card from my wife. The people were really nice and they made me feel really relaxed and comfortable before my massage. The massage itself was OUT OF THIS WORLD!!! Its been more than a week since my massage and I'm still more limber and can move around much easier than before. Murrieta Hot Springs is my home location and I have been a member for three or four years. If you want a great massage for a great price, this is your place. If you are expecting a high end spa experience, then go to a spa. There are a range of massage therapists there, so you have to ask for what you want. They are more than willing to accommodate you and give you the best therapist that fits your needs. One needs to speak up at the time of booking as well as during the massage - that's all part of getting a great massage. Massage therapists cannot read your mind. So if you don't get the best massage it's not all the therapist's fault. The front desk people are knowledgeable and friendly. It's a great place and it is the only place I go.....I am a regular! I am a former massage therapist from years and years ago so I can vouch for the therapists experience and technique. I would highly recommend!!! read more
