It was hard to decide on a star rating because there are pluses and minus at this location, but I specifically wanted to express my frustration with this franchise owner. The front desk staff are very professional, helpful and super nice. All the estheticians are good, but I absolutely love my facials with Keisha. The masseuses tend to come and go so it is hard to book a massage with the same person. Also massage appointments are often difficult to get because staff shortage. Here is my main reason for the bad review. My husband and I have been a subscribers for over 3 years. We continued to pay our monthly subscription through the pandemic - even when they were closed (support small business). A few weeks ago I decided to cancel my membership because I hadn't been using my monthly credits. They were building up to an excessive amount. Lol. The very next day I had a facial with Keisha and asked to cancel my cancellation. (I know!) Tina at the front desk was so happy -but unfortunately was unable to reinstate me at the same price - she needed the franchise owner's approval. I'm sure you can guess where this is going. She/he refused to reinstate my membership at the same price I'd been paying for the last 3 years. It's not even the additional$10 or $20 a month I care about, but that fact there is no recognition or appreciation of customer loyalty - or even support of your employees who have known me for years and tried to advocate on my behalf. Again: Great front office staff. Good variety of masseuses, but frequent staff turnover. Sometimes hard to get a massage appointment Excellent estheticians. Disappointing absentee franchise owner. I have had some very good massages at this location but there is a lot of therapist turnover. In the last 3-4 months there have been only two therapists making it very difficult to get an appointment. Suggest that before buying a membership for this location you check on number of working therapists. read more

First time ever getting a massage here and with anu of the massage envy. Philomena was amazing. She told me to let her know if she was massaging me to rough and made me feel extremely comfortable. I did a 90 min custom massage which was prefect because she was able to address all my tense parts ( neck,shoulders, back). I feel so relaxed and i alsp forget to mentioned that I did the aromatherapy which definitely help me to relax a bit more. The bathroom was clean and the front desk ladies were nice and professional. This place is a nightmare. My sister and brother in law were visiting from California, celebrating their wedding anniversary. I transferred one massage session to each of them as a gift. She called two days ago to make reservations, confirmed that the transfers went through, left her cell phone and credit card information with Lexi. They went to their 4 pm appointment today and the manager who is there, Louise, told them she couldn't find their reservation, nor my sister's transfer credit. After 45 mins of not knowing what happened, she offered them a reservation tomorrow. She then withdrew that offer because they do not have 2 massage sessions available at the same time. My brother in law is flying back home on Monday. No other effort was made to fix the problem. I hope this establishment did not cash my sister's transfer credit so she can't use it somewhere else. The people who run this Massage Envy are either dishonest or incompetent - either way, they are not worthy of any star or your patronage. Bring your business somewhere else. read more

Ahhhh... I had a massage and facial yesterday. The location is new and it is very pretty, the decor is very soothing. The staff at the front is very nice and made sure I new what to expect. Both the massage therapist and the girl that did my facial were wonderful. Truly magic hands! I've been to several Massage Envy's and this one is decorated so much nicer. Massage Evny is the worst. Can't ever book a massage within a day's notice. I've tried Ocean City Ellicott city and Westminster. I can tell you, I won't be becoming a member and if I ever get to use my damn gift certificate on a day when I need a massage......wish I could return this gift card. Such a pitiful joke to think I was going to actually be able to book a massage at a place with vast locations...save yourself trouble and go support a local small massage business. If they knew their business they would understand that you don't plan to pull muscles that need a massage therefore they need to be ready at moments notice. Also they take 10 minutes off the hour and charge you to take your clothes off and fill out paperwork. I never got any response from my request for booking, had to beat these peoples doors down for answers. I had a girlfriend that went to Baltimore school of massage, I'm no idiot this place sucks.
