I had shared with him that I am a Dog Walker and that my lower back, glutes and calves are always getting worked out. I am such a fan of this location! The front desk staff are so friendly. The therapists are wonderful, especially Ryan. I suffer from chronic pain and autoimmune issues and depend on him to function. The 60 minute sessions feel too short, so I'm definitely booking the 90-minute next time. Be sure to book a facial with Maddie. The treatment is so relaxing and I was glowing afterwards. I am so disappointed with this business. I went for a massage months ago, and my first 2 massage were great so I bought the monthly membership package. Since then, it has been nothing but annoying. Today was the second time THEY canceled my massage. This time, only 2 hours before my scheduled massage. If I had canceled it, they would have charged me because I canceled at such late notice. My last few massages have been boring. Now, because I am ending my contract early because of their poor business practices, I have to pay a $55 cancellation fee, plus use the 2 back logged massages because of their cancellations in the next 30 days. I'm not one to leave unfair reviews, so I'll start with the good...which wasn't much. Online booking made it quick and convenient. Front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. Moving on...I RARELY leave a review but I rushed home for this one...I read multiple reviews on Hanlin being a great therapist. To start off, when I walked to the room I was asked to go over the areas that I wanted avoided. I ONLY wanted my neck and back massaged-nothing else and made that very clear when she continued to tell me "on, no we're doing it all". I dismissed this as a joke or maybe her approach to therapy. Between her shoving her fingertips under my pelvic bone, massaging my armpits-HARD for over half of the massage, not knowing anatomy of musculature at all ( I mean I swear she was purposely massaging areas that were extremely bony with little to no areas with actual muscle tissue), avoiding my back AS A WHOLE, leaving fingernail marks all over me, continually shaking my arms, legs, head, telling me to relax OVER and OVER and OVER again...you can say it was far less than my expectations. I have gotten monthly massages for YEARS due to a past car accident and playing sports frequently. I have never had one in my entire life that came close to the level of this. By the end of it, I was convinced she was just trying to make it as uncomfortable and unenjoyable as possible. On a side note, I usually request men, because I typically like that deep of a pressure...so it definitely wasn't me.... =/ read more

After much research, I decided to give massage envy a try. I did not have high expectations, but I was in desperate need of a massage. Boy, was I pleasantly surprised! I started out going to one therapist, but she moved ( she was fantastic). I was then referred to another one, Gilda, and she is also amazing! These therapists seem to be very experienced. Front desk is very evasive on being customer friendly asking questions about how things are run. You are told as member to go online and try to book whatever comes up and they do not have any answers on how that works to choose a therapist or customize your experience. The owner here is also very abrasive he doesn't wanna talk to the customer you're always bothering him if he has to come out to the front desk to answer a question that his green staff can't. This location Cannot customize therapist appointments outside of limiting you to go with their choice of what available and get what you get. Maybe on a day you get a different front desk member where the owner is not present he might have a little bit friendlier explanations. I've been a member for over 15 years definitely they could care less if they get my business..I care VERY much what therapist works on me and their modalities. So I suggest don't deal with the business face to face if you only care to collect a check. As a owner you can't have a surgeon's god complex and bad bed side manners. read more

I went to this location about 6 months ago, Massage was very blah, did not receive full time I booked which was most frustrating. I received a gift card for my bday and decided on this location due to convenience being close to where I work, booked a 60 minute massage and from the time I went in the massage room to the time I walked out it was 48 mins. I am aware of the time they allow for dressing but this was including that, it was just silly. Not something to make a huge deal about so I wasn't about to complain about it but I for sure will not be back to this location. read more

That is something they should have told us before hand so we could have her go. instead she waited for me. they would not refund her gift card nor give her someone in management to talk to. my massage was shortened by 15 minutes. Now I have an upset wife on her birthday. Commonsense should have prevailed informing us or having her go first. Honestly this sucks. read more

I had to cancel my appointment today due to my husbands health. The manager, Adrianna spoke to me and very rudely stated they would charge me 50% of the service. When I explained the situation she just kept saying 50%. I will never go back, this is a retirement area and things happen as we are elderly. I had a massage awhile back and fully planned on joining their club, I called the corporate office and complained. The joke is on her as the card that they have on file is invalid as I closed it a few months ago, she said the charge did not go through lol.
