Once checked in, she took me to a quiet area to wait for my session to begin. I went for a 90 minute massage, great experience. I added on an additional service for $15. There was restrooms and water available to me prior to the start of my session. There was also accessible parking in front of building. I highly recommended visiting this spot. read more

I was in need of a new massage therapist, and I decided to try out this location since it is so close to my house. The first one that I had a session with was good but not as much as I was hoping for. I decided to try another therapist and I found out on my first visit that she is a runner like myself!! I always like having a massage therapist who knows the sport because I feel like they know what to treat better than others who aren't familiar with all of the aches and pains runners experience during training. I will be a client of Caroline's for a long time! It is hard to schedule with her at the last minute, so I would recommend scheduling appointments in advance. There are some good massage therapists (Tina is wonderful) and a great aesthetician there, but really shady practices in place. First thing to watch for is, they give you a free upgrade at your first service and then assume you want it every time. So watch out for that. Secondly, don't think it's going to last an hour. You might get 50 minutes. I tried to cancel my membership since the location isn't practical for me and it was an expense I could no longer justify. They would not allow this, though, and continued to charge my card. At the end, I had three charges and figured I'd save these massages and use them when I really needed them. I just tried to do that and was told I'd be charged at the non-member rate of $140. I told Haley that I'd use one of my pre-paid services. She said they "unfortunately expired after 60 days." Apparently, I gave Massage Envy a gift of $210 when I could least afford it. It seems pretty crappy that a customer pays for a service and the business just keeps the money. read more

I never write reviews but I have to for this. I made an appt for deep tissue massage (60min) they told me it cost $140. I said that seems too expensive. Front desk said due to inflation everything went up. The massage I got was extremely basic. They use techniques that save their hands from stress but don't give you a deep tissue massage. I requested focus on my neck and they barely touched it. My legs, barely touch them. I left feeling like I never got a massage but hey at least the therapist hands are ready to take the next person's money. They do have a membership deal 80 bucks for 1 massage a month but it's a contract and I was told you need a doctors letter to cancel the membership. Why would you need a doctor's letter to cancel a recreational membership? Zen massage only charges $75 for 60min but I haven't found a single place in CHS who gives real deep tissue massages read more

I completed the check in process utilizing the tablet, for the areas I wanted to have worked on. I added aromatherapy therapy to my treatment for additional relaxation. I was greeted by the therapist and Advised to get undress to my comfort level. * Here's were it went down hill* Why lying on my stomach face down I was asked to take in 3 deep breaths. I could definitely smell the oil I selected. While working on my back, neck and shoulder I was asked to turn over. Wait what about my things and legs NO, I WILL ONLY BE DOING YOUR NECK SHOULDER AND BACK. She then rubbed lotion in here hands and asked for me to SMELL HER HANDS!! NO, WE ARE IN THE MIDDLE OF A PANDEMIC!! She completed the areas she said she was only working on. While I'm asking why am I getting half of a massage but I'm fully undressed and where is the diffuser for the aroma therapy? No one could give me answers however requested a full payment of $75.00. In the area from out of town, I had a very nice last minute opening massage here on 1 Aug. Was scheduled for a 90 minute massage, but shortly after they opened I received a call letting me know the therapist was under the weather. They did offer a later in the day option, but that didn't fit my schedule. Then a little over an hour later, I received a call letting me know they had an opening in less than 20 minutes for an hour long session if I was interested. This one did fit my schedule, being half an hour earlier than my original appointment and I was able to get there on time. Claire did a a great job working on my always tight areas in the shorter amount of time than I know I really need. I do have a Massage Envy monthly membership, but live a fair distance away from a ME, so I get to try different locations when traveling. I'll be back when in the area! read more

I debated about not posting a review however $100 is a lot of money to not get what you pay for. I went last week for a deep tissue massage and was very disappointed. the therapist in my honest opinion did not seem very skilled. In short my experience felt more like a toddler learning to use finger paints (massage oil) for the first time vs what was supposed to a professional deep tissue massage. His motions were very basic and repetitive and the amount of oil he poured on me was excessive. I have been with Massage Envy for over a year. They are all very nice and friendly . During the pandemic while they were closed the company gave you a choice to cancel my contract or stay with them. I wanted to stay with them and they gave me credits. The place is very clean. I just love my massage therapist Teresa. She is the best. I have a special need do I go twice a month and she is working with me and helping me. I am a Massage Envy member for more than a year and my home branch was in Clearwater. I understand that every Massage Envy franchise is handled or managed independently in a way. I am glad that membership and benefits can be used in other branches. I went here when I was staying in SC for a while before my move. Finding your therapist can be tricky. It's a trial and error even if you ask for 'the best'. Making an appointment by the phone was easy. When the day finally came, the wait was horrible. I waited more than 30 mins before my therapist finally came. The massage was different from what I am used to. (I get regular massages) Lack of communication from the therapist and the customer. The masseur even touched and massaged my face in which I didn't asked for. Had to tell him to not touch my face. Good thing I don't use this branch often and probably won't ever again. The rooms are way too small and cramped for a massage room and the ambiance is not as relaxing as you would expect from a place like this. You're better off with another branch if you have a choice. read more

I told them again that is resiculous, when you are now telling me I have to pay an additional $60 that was supposed to be a gift. They tell me it's just policy. I told them they should take it up with him and I'd be writing a realistic terrible review. She told me "go ahead". I then told them I had never experienced such a bad experience and they have the absolute worst customer service and are rude. The other girl chimes in and says wow, and says I'm the one in their face. First of all I'm in a chair sitting down looking at my phone and you're behind the desk. Let me preface this all by saying that my experience was made memorable largely thanks to my lovely massage therapist, Gretchen. It really was the bees knees! Teresa Teresa Teresa! That's the name you need to know. Just when I was done with this business and searching for other options, I get to meet this amazing profesional. BTW, my displeasure with this business was over an admin discrepancy and not the actual services they regularly offer. I used to regularly see Sheryl, she was amazing, however she was hired at another business. Ok, back to Teresa, I have to rate her amazing skills at #1 of all times. I had consistently gotten a massage every month for the last 15 years or so. At times in far places like Dubai and Japan. None and I truly mean none, come close to the master piece provided by Teresa. She is in the business of finding stress, nuts and trouble areas. Her forte is deep tissue massage. In fact, her hands are so strong that I have come close to raising the white flag on the pressure level...but the phenomenal and stress relief feeling is so great after seeing her that I won't give up by raising a white flag or much less quit coming back for more punishment. So here is my only concern about Teresa, she is that good and leaving a great review on her and this business could further complicate my chances of getting on the schedule. BTW, her schedule is already busy and I suspect it will get even worse as her popularity grows at this location. Her bedside manners are superb, she is very respectful and professional. Teresa is very knowledgeable, doesn't talk much and her amazing strength will be noticeable when you shake her hands. I nickname her "The Stress Terminator". This location at Wescott is consistently improving. The scheduling system seems to be on target now. Some of the staff members have changed and it seems like they are now aiming efforts at proving great customer service and less at forcing product sales. I'm a huge fan of Teresa and this location. I went through the proper cancellation forms in the allotted amount of time before needing to be charged again. She said she never received my paperwork from a massage envy across town, EVEN though I spoke with the sender and they had sent it on the 8th of November. So I drove to the massage envy in WA to get the cancellation form and drive it all the way to wescott, where of course "Jodi" wasn't in, although I spoke with her a half hour before coming into. I would never recommend this location or any other ones aside from the WA location. Jodi was out to get money from members who owed nothing to get her family Christmas presents. What a SHAME! Bought a membership and this is probably my 7th massage here. Good lighting and atmosphere but my one complaint is that the massages consistently start 5 minutes late at least. When the massage comes down to the minute, those 5 extra minutes really put a damper on my mood before I even enter the room. I was greeted on time by my therapist [Angel] and then the magic started ha ha.
