Lately, when I try to make an appointment well in advance, something always seems to happen and I have to cancel. I was able to get an appointment with just 2 days notice. I was recently gifted a massage here. I had been once before and had a mediocre massage and not so great service. This time I searched Yelp and requested Jackie who seemed to have many good reviews. The studio is clean and relaxing. The front desk staff was friendly and attentive. My massage was wonderful. Jackie greeted me with a smile and made me feel welcomed. She used deep pressure, which I had requested. Many therapists I've been to say they do deep massages but don't. Jackie's pressure was almost too intense at times but she did a good job at reading my muscles and backed off when appropriate. She had good communication but was not chatty, allowing me to enjoy the massage. At the end she offered some suggestions to help keep my muscles happy. Great experience! I Am not a member here but they seem to have one of the best membership deals going. Your unused massages roll over if you don't use them and you can even let someone else use your accumulated massages for a $10 fee. My second experience was definitely better than the first. When a therapist asks you about the pressure they are using and you tell them it's too hard and to please soften up, they need to do it and not continue on like they are massaging a tree trunk. Not being an expert on massages, I just wanted a niece relaxing body massage that fit into my schedule and was clean, professional, and had a licensed therapist. Massage Haven fit the bill. Not only where they able to get me in the same day, the whole experience from making the initial phone call to final payment was flawless. When you walk in, you enter a quiet, relaxing environment that takes you away from the busy outside world. I'll start with the good. The facilities were clean and it's very easy to book an appointment. They're very accommodating and you can't beat the prices. However, it was the worst massage I've ever had. My massage therapist seemed to think that pain was necessary for a good massage despite repeated requests for less pressure. She also talked the entire time, mostly about how little money she makes and how hard it is to support her family at Christmas even with the government assistance she receives. That's just not professional and not relaxing. Not that I could relax when she was causing so much pain. She would also work one side of my body using one technique and use a completely different technique on the other side leaving me feeling very unbalanced. She was very nice but I wouldn't recommend this place for a massage. Go to Athena Salon and Spa instead if it's in your price range. read more

For the love of god and all that is holy......PLEASE, Massage Therapist, DO NOT TALK during a massage unless the client instigated the conversation. If the client isn't starting a conversation, TAKE THE OBVIOUS SIGN! Or if said client barely mumbles a response to your talking....take a hint! Most clients enjoy a nice peaceful relaxing massage. You are not a bartender serving drinks entertaining the customer on the other side of the bar. DO NOT USE FOUL LANGUAGE! We, your clients, are spending a lot of money for less than 1 hour of service from you! Take OUR lead when it comes to talking during OUR time. When you think massage you think "relaxing" right?! My massage today with Deanna was not as relaxing as you would think, but it was by far one of the best massages I have ever received!!! It wasn't as relaxing because apparently I have a lot of tension that I never knew I had but she did such a great job. I'm sure I will be feeling it tomorrow. She gave me some pointers to help relieve my tension but I think I'll just rather come back and see her! :) Affordable prices, (especially if you are a member), and great service. Horrible experience and certainly not the first time but definitely the last. They are incredibly unorganized and you have a 50/50 chance of getting a good massage unless you know a name of a therapist. High turnover and no one seems to like the owner very much. I scheduled 2 massages at the same time with 2 specific therapists. I called and confirmed not only the appt. but our therapist and Massage Haven called and texted me to confirm. All 3 times everything was clear. Showed up for my special gift for my mother and the manager had changed our therapists, gave us 2 men and one who was brand new. INCREDIABLE! No one really seemed to stand up and take much blame even a staff was rude to me yet I did everything I could think of to make sure they didn't mix it all up again. The managers follow up and "apology" was just a shame, took several days to get back yo me (I had to initiate) and the compensation for their mix up was a real disappointment and insult. She said it was the owners decision. They may be busy now but I promise with all the other massage places around if they continue this type of "customer service" it's only a matter of time. I'm now buying another massage package but this time, I'm finally trying somewhere else. I'd take your hard earned money and go somewhere else. read more

I just had a two hour massage with Eric. When I asked for deep tissue, he didn't mess around. He was extremely nice and always made sure I was comfortable. The ambiance was decent, nothing like the resorts, but you can't beat the price of $95 for two hours. I will definitely go back and am considering the membership option too. read more

Not only did my headache go away, but she also was able to give me some pointers on how to keep my TMJ issues from causing headaches. Every time I go to Massage Haven, I receive a warm welcome. The employees are all very kind and communicate very well. My most recent experience was my best thus far. My massage therapist was the best! I'm currently pregnant and she asked me questions about my pregnancy, while also massaging me gently in certain areas and being so aware of my comfort level. Been here a few times and really enjoy it. Went to Valerie a few times so far. I love that she puts a hot towel on your back and after that part of the massage and rubs you a little with the towel. This helps to not feel greasy when your done and getting dressed. Also like that she covers your eyes with an eye mask when you are on your back. That way if you open your eyes, there's no awkward eye contact. A final hot towel was also wrapped around my neck to finish the massage. The lotion scent was nice, slightly minty but not overwhelming. The room was quiet and peaceful and you couldn't hear others in the building, even though it seems like a small space. Made an appointment with Hanna or Henna. Asked on the phone if it's okay to be there at 6:05. I asked how long would the massage be for? I was told a 60 minute massage. I got there, then Hanna tells me that she is going to do only 40 minutes and she won't be able to give me a very focused massage! I asked as to why they didn't mention that on the phone so I don't have to drive 15 minutes? She mumbled and gave some unprofessional response, then she decided to call the manager! Manager agrees on a 45 minute massage for a less price which was fair, but when manager hangs up, hanna turns around and says she has commitments after work and she can do 40 minutes! I told her I'm confused as you guys just talked about a 45 minute massage on the phone with the manager.... but she insisted that she can't and kept changing her words! She then said okay I can do "43 minutes"! So many decisions and words switching back and forth... 60 Minutes to 40 minutes to 45 minutes to 43 minutes! It was my first time and it was very bad, and kind of a weird first impression; it seemed that hanna was trying to negotiate over a few minutes more or less which to me was a question of her commitment to her job, and that's after her manager already told her on the phone to do 45 minutes (i guess the manager was nicer about it), but Henna was just very unprofessional and sounded childish.. I went for an hour massage. They had a special so it was only $39. I've had many massages in my life and most of them were at least twice as expensive but I have to say this was one of the best I've ever had. I had a crazy bad headache for two days so I called and they were able to get me in right away. Becca, the therapist I saw, worked a lot on my neck and shoulders. Headache is gone! The facility is very clean and relaxing. I will definitely go back. I think the regular price for a massage is $60, so still very affordable. They accept credit cards and you can put the tip on the card, which is nice. I hate when places don't let you do that. read more
