had a pretty awesome opening offer from this location that welcomed my wife and I in for Couples massages. This was great since big chains weren't offering this service due to "Coofid" rules. Massage heights was accommodating, nice and pretty fair on the price.. The massage was really nice and relaxing. I would give 5 stars but our massage ladies were pretty chatty which kinda killed the mood, and my massage therapist (cant recall her name) insisted on constantly telling me that I was stiff and stressed and would need more sessions or more time to get it all taken care of. I didnt go there for a specific reason, I just wanted to relax with the wife... Sales pitches should happen AFTER the service not DURING. read more

First let me start on my first visit - I booked on line and requested a deep tissue massage. Upon arrival they put me with a technician that does not do deep tissue at all - of course it was too late since the treatment had already started. I had to ask multiple times are you going to massage so I can feel it and then she puts hot rocks on me, not what I even asked for. After the service they charged me anyway and stated oh there must have been a mistake and you will still have to pay. I even had the booking to show what I booked and showed it to them - they took zero accountability. Thought I would give it a fair chance and book again with a new technician - it went well - so I thought ok the first mishap was just a fluke. I decided to book a third appointment and this is where it really fell apart - they decided to move my appointment without consent to a later time. I called and let them know that this would not work and the conversation went like this: Well if you cancel we will charge you as it is the same day. I stated that I received a text later last night showing a change that I did not agree to and the later time does not work. I asked to speak to a manager to be told there was not one onsite, I asked for the corporate office number, which they advised they do not have. I advised I want my prepaid membership back as I have used zero dollars of it and again the response was - well I am not sure if they will refund you - so they steel your money and take no accountability. The absolute worst customer service I have ever experienced. I would highly advise to stay away. read more

ZERO STARS SHOULD BE A THING! This place is such a scam, they'll ask you to sign up for the 3 month membership AND CONTINUE TO CHARGE YOU AFTER!!! What is the point of advertising these specific number/periods of a membership only to continue to charge a person UNLESS YOU REQUEST THEIR CANCELLATION FORM! Of course when I said this to them, they told me that it was in the agreement. How FUNNY that you guys dont mention this when your advertising the 'convenient' 3-6 month memberships. OHHH I KNOW!! ITS BECAUSE THEY KNOW THAT NO ONE WOULD SIGN UP FOR THAT!!!! The sad thing is, I've been in a similar situation with this company in the past before but didn't think it could happen again. Ugh. Don't book online. My husband booked me a deep tissue massage online. I went in for it did the intake process and was told they recommend a Swedish massage I said ok that was fine and when asked what pressure I said firm. Then they left came back and told me the masseuse could only do light to medium pressure and asked if that was ok. I said I wasn't sure and that he'd booked deep tissue and they said it's better to call and then they can match you properly. But I said he booked deep tissue... and I just said cancel the appointment and left. I'm extremely disappointed I was really looking forward to this massage I've been having a lot of upper back and shoulder pain. I knew if the masseuse could only do light to medium it wouldn't be good enough. I don't know why they let him book deep tissue if they didn't have that available. I looked forward to it all weekend and left super bummed. I double checked it wouldn't be charged and they said it wouldn't so I'll just keep a lookout to ensure they don't charge us. read more

I would have to give Massage Heights in Folsom a solid three stars. I had a 3 PM appointment and they recommended that I arrive early in order to fill out and complete a waiver form. I arrived at 2:50 PM. Parking was very easy (either parking structure or private lot) so I wasn't worried. The front desk staff were friendly and helpful, which was a good first impression. I waited in the lounge. I waited and waited. It was not until 3:15 PM when the front desk informed me that my massage therapist was running late and "was just across the street". When she arrived, they quickly ushered me to the my room and asked if I wanted any aromatherapy scents for my massage. I asked for Eucalyptus, which smelled very relaxing and perfect to help me de-stress. My massage therapist was Vanessa. She was nice and personable. She did an excellent job making sure my needs were met and focusing on a medium/firm deep massage. She made sure to address my needs and didn't talk much (which I like). The massage itself was about a 4 out of 5! The reason why I had to deduct two stars from the review is because I waited 30 minutes for my massage and they did not compensate for the tardiness. Also, at the end when I was leaving the appointment the front desk, "Did you leave a gratuity?" very loudly. In which I responded, yes, it was in the room where it was supposed to be. It would be helpful next time to have the massage therapist arrive in a timely manner instead of keeping me waiting given our busy schedules. There were definitely moments of my experience that left me feeling dissatisfied, especially at the end. read more

This is a nice place for massages and Delores is the best. She is very experienced and always check with you on your preferences. Other therapists are good but I would probably only go to Delores. Like others have mentioned it's a 45 min massage and not an hour. read more

Delores is great. I have been to a lot of massage therapists that just go through the motions, but Delores actually works out the issues. I recommend a 90 minute session. I have trouble specifically with my right rotator cuff and the IT band between my hip and knee. She works the muscles and actually works out the tension I build up from compensating & guarding. When their customer service representative called, my wife explained the situation and they did not care at all and still without authorization charged my card the full amount of the massage. No sympathy was shown at all. This is a money hungry company which I will never support again!! I own my own business and understand what customer service really means which clearly they don't care about. They should revisit there policies for instances like these. My experience with this place started off horribly. I booked a maternity massage through their website for an hour and half with "any masseuse" since that was the only option. I then received a text and a phone call from James confirming my appointment and everything was set. Next week, I arrived to my appointment only to be told they made a mistake and the masseuse that was scheduled could not do maternity. And I had to come back next week but for an hour massage since they could not accommodate an hour and a half. I was pretty upset since I drove over 45 min to this appt and on top of that I had already confirmed this appt with James TWICE. But I agreed to return. Finally come in for my rescheduled appointment. Arrived today at 1140 for my 1200 appt. Didn't get seen until 1206. I thought that's fine. They'll make up for it. Massage did not start until 1215. And I was in the lobby to check out at 1:00pm. I paid for an hour but got ~maybe~ a 40 min massage. Kathy, the masseuse, was good and very sweet. Massage was relaxing and I enjoyed that part. But with all the technicalities and miscommunication and to not get a full hour for the price you pay, I'm not sure if I will be back. read more

Massage by Leonard wasn't great. I can tell he has some sort of training but his technique was bland. I expressed my whole body needed massage however I came out the massage upset. Front desk receptionist asked how my massage was and I said it wasn't great. I was waiting for my husband to check out. I told him I had better. Front desk didn't even empathize. They just stood there quiet or even express any form of apology that I had a bad experience. They didn't offer anything to compensate. We still paid so much money for it. Jack is the BEST and is always so nice and helpful with product. Savannah is the BEST for facials and Lexie is the BEST for massages. I love being a member because it's a monthly reminder to take time for self-care. Very professional staff and clean environment. I get all of my Dermalogica product here and I love that they offer samples to try out before buying some of the items. Pricing is very competitive and you are able to get better rates as a member rather than a walk in. You get credit to use for either a massage or facial and if you don't use your credit each month, it rolls over and you can double up for a massage facial combo another visit. 10/10 recommend signing up for a membership! I have had a lot of excellent massages from some top end spas and salons all over the world but his massages has far exceeded any l've had! John J is also very willing to concentrate on areas that are strained or injured, and has several specialized techniques to work out these problem areas. He's sessions are of excellent value given the time and expertise he dedicates to his craft. I called in for my first time appointment for 4pm I went with the 30 minute one to work on my shoulders. walked in at 3:58 and they told me I had to fill out a form which took a few minutes then I had to wait for my therapist and she came And got me at 4:08. The massage was fine but then she said our time was up and I looked at the clock and it was 4:28. I paid for a 30 minute massage and I got a 20 and the therapist wasn't able to get to my most affected area. Probably won't be back. read more

Terrible experience, wouldn't go here if it were free. I received several hundred dollars in gift cards for the holidays, so I made an appt. for my girlfriend and I to go on New Year's Eve. After making the appt. in person the prior week, the front desk took my information (name, number, etc.), then confirmed the details and then I reconfirmed to make sure everything was clear - they said yes, you are good to go. We then came back at 3:30 p.m. on NYE for our scheduled sessions. Not only did they not have our appointments (the lady who was supposed to input the appointments didn't put them in the system apparently), their only viable solution was that we could come back another day. This obviously didn't work, as the whole reason we scheduled the services and time (this is how we were celebrating NYE) we did was because we wanted this specific day. There was no apology or anything, they made this seem as this was my problem. I told them to give me back the money, even though the credit would be going to the person who put the cards on their credit card, I didn't care. I'd rather they get their money back then to spend a dime at this place. We will go somewhere else who is competent enough to take a reservation and who has the front desk staff who is knowledgeable and knows what's going on. Avoid this place at all costs. read more

Terrible service. The manager, Becca, she is rude and has no idea how to speak to people. I have spoken to several friends and they feel the same. She talks openly about her personal life on the floor where we can here her. She even spoke poorly about an employee who wasn't there, with other employees.
