So my wife's birthday came and since I had previously signed up for the monthly plan, I had accumulated a few hours that I could not use. I called ahead and was advised that I could donate one hour to my wife and I made an appointment to visit. BIG MISTAKE! When we entered the establishment, the receptionist seemed a little snotty, but we bit the bullet since it was my wife's birthday. After entering, I realized I forgot my wallet and ran to the car. During this time, my wife received compliments about her shoes and purse. No biggie. I inquired about the hour from my credits that would go to my wife and everything was okay. We go to the back and I'm asked about my trouble spots, and I let the masseuse know. They leave, I'm on the cold table and they come back in to massage my wife and I. The masseuse did not pay any attention to the area I specified, the massage did not last an hour (i timed) and although my wife received a full body. The last I had really only gave me a back rub. My wife had her legs massaged and all, but the lady I had barely did my arms. I get ready to leave and keep in mind I was told I could donate an hour to my wife(on more than one occasion). When I got ready to check out, the policy changed immediately and my wife alone was $200. I felt like a deer in headlights as the subscription service was pushed ridiculously hard and I really feel like I was taken advantage of. How did we go from having credits to not having credits. I'm given a bs story about Hippa regulations, but little did they know my wife is an RN and knows that this has nothing to do with regulations as no heath information is exchanged. I believe when my wife was complimented about her expensive taste, we were sized up to be lined up. It was all a lie to upsell. Guys, the subscription service is bs and once you get the service, you will be given a hassle when you try to cancel. Nothing is consistent and I wish I never visited the Eldorado location. The credits are nothing because the massages do not last an hour. read more

I bought a 3-month membership to Massage Heights in Houston, but I hadn't yet used it and I was visiting family in the Dallas area so I decided to try this location. Scheduling was easy and they had same-day availability, which was nice. My therapist was Jeremy; he was very professional and made sure I was comfortable the entire time. I wasn't exactly sure what pressure I wanted, but he worked up to a medium-deep pressure, which felt perfect! I hope my experience at the location in Houston is as good as the one I had here. This place is a scam! When my husband and I first time went there, they were trying to push this membership to us at their close time. The whole process was rush and the front desk lady just gave us the forms and let us sign. When we got home with the copies, I found it says 12-month selection, but they never told us there are any other options!! Four months later, I found myself pregnant. I called them and ask for cancellation because I don't want them to charge me every month while I am not be able to use the service. It's a lot of money for two people and I want to save them for my doctor visits. Out of my expectation, they refused to cancel our memberships! We used to go to another massage called Sandlewood, they never had an agreement with a locked time. We were able to cancel our membership anytime. However the massage heights is trying to charge the money more than anything. Even when I told them i'm pregnant! They even charged us the next month from a credit card that we never authorized to them! The massage heights make us extremely uncomfortable with their terrible management. Their goal is not make their clients feel relaxed, it's charging, charging, and charging! I am going to call the consumer protection agency and find a legal action on this. And they are going to lose us and our friends as their clients forever. read more

This place is a haven in the city. I went in for a massage for my birthday and came out signed up monthly membership. They are pushy but they do catch you when are most vulnerable and then hit you up for membership. So now I get monthly massages that I absolutely love and need. Charles is my massage artist and has the softest hands but a firm touch. I am going to keep going until I can't afford it any longer but I am going to enjoy it while I can. I deserve it! read more

My husband and I are regulars at Massage Heights Stonebridge and every experience we've had has been wonderful. The front desk always goes above and beyond with their great customer service and genuine attitude. Especially Lee, he is exceptional at his job. Always makes you feel welcomed and with out fail he asks how my day is going! His cheerful personality is contagious. If you want a therapist recommendation, Jeremy and James are on-point! James gives an excellent massage with a firm touch. If you're looking to relax I highly recommend Jeremy. Each have their own unique touch. First time to get a massage here. Kelly was my masseuse. She gave me a really good deep tissue massage and I felt much better afterward. My only reason for not giving five stars was because of the pressure to sign up for their membership. I would have much preferred to be given information to take with me to think about signing up instead of the sales process. Came here yesterday for the first time and had a wonderful experience. They were able to get my friend and I in on the same day rather last minute. I don't usually have time to schedule massage appointments ahead of time and by the time I realize I am in need of one I often have to settle for a walk in type of place which isn't usually the best quality massage. The staff asked me what my problem areas were and recommended James for deep tissue. He did a wonderful job helping me to relax and make the most of my appointment. I've been a client at Massage Heights for several years now. I've had a couple of less than palatable instances recently with the customer side of the business. A return appointment didn't get booked. When I showed up, and there was no appointment, the girl behind the desk simply said. "We don't have an appointment for you." No apology, no attempt to make it right, not even an offer to rebook. I had to ASK when the next available appointment was. To top it off, repeated requests to have the manager call me regarding the incident went ignored. When I saw her in person at my next appointment, I was informed the employee with zero customer service skills was "a good employee." I guess customer service skills are not part of being a "good employee." At any rate, I was THEN informed that, despite my built up pre-paid hours, I would owe an additional $12/hour because my therapist was now a "tier 2" therapist. Mmmmkay. I was also told that "We've been telling people in March, April, and May." MMmmmkay. Needless to say, this was new to me. (It also appears I was charged this additional fee at my last appointment-- on my card that was "on file", without my knowledge, but I digress.) The manager then hands me a flyer on the new tiered pricing. An exact quote from the brochure: "You will be notified AFTER your session by your therapist if they are a tier 2 or tier 3 therapist." Let that sink in for just a moment. You'll be notified AFTER your session- not before. So, if you're seeing a new therapist, or are a new client, you don't get to "choose" whether or not you have to pay more for your massage. I find this the most disturbing aspect of all. I have never gone into a restaurant, ordered a steak off the menu, and then had an extra fee added to my bill because I had a "tier 2 or tier 3" waitress. Or that maybe the particular steak they chose for me, out of all of the ribeyes, was $6 better than the other ones in the cooler. I was also informed that the therapist is allowed to "choose" to become tier 2 or 3, if they meet certain qualifications. Sad to say, I see this as a "forced" tip, as well as a "bait and switch". Bad move, Massage Heights, Bad move! (As an aside, my therapist is wonderful. Too bad the customer service is horrible!) read more

Very dissatisfied with my experience! My husband and I went here for a massage and the owner talked to us about getting a membership with them. I didn't want to get a 6 month agreement because my schedule is very busy. So she agreed to give us a 3 month agreement, due to our schedule we were unable to return. I looked at my statement and was charged for 6 months! I called and told them what happened and she stated they would not refund us for the additional 3 months we were charged. The issue I have is it wasn't mentioned that after the 3 months we would be charged month to month. I am 100% okay with paying for the 3 months we agreed to (Even though we haven't been there since our first visit) Poor customer service, and Shame on the owner! I woke up on Sunday in such pain; it felt like something was puncturing my my lung deep from my back side. I suffered through the day with hot showers, ben gay and heating pads. Today, Monday I went to see Warin at Massage Heights off Ridge and El Dorado in McKinney. She was amazing! I have to say the deep tissue pain was penetrating but I focused on my breathing and tried to relax my body for her to do her amazing work on ridding me of all the layers of knots in my back and neck. I can now breath again without the sharp pain deep within my back. Seriously - I'm a believer and have already scheduled another appointment with Warin. I highly recommend her! read more

I went to Massage Heights for my first time, yesterday. Charles was my therapist. He was great and really thorough. I don't get a massage often. The few times I have, I've been nervous and not really comfortable speaking up about what I'd like. I ended up very comfortably chatting with him throughout most of the massage. I like deep pressure which he delivered for sure and he was very kind and professional. I can't wait to go back! I even gave him a hug as I was leaving. I work with patients every day so the way my back, shoulders and arms feel is very important to me. I'll request Charles again for sure. I've also heard Cristy mentioned as really great in the reviews and two employees said they see her as their therapist. I need to see her, too! It may not be something we can all afford to do terribly often, but if you're hurting or really tense, it's worth giving it a try at least from time to time. read more

Purchased a 90 min massage for my daughter for her birthday, when she booked they didn't specify nor ask if she wanted a 1-hour or 90 min session. My daughter didn't specify - she's 19 and this was her first session to go alone as an adult, so lesson learned. She got there 15 mins before the session, they didn't start until 15 mins after and the therapist stopped 8 mins early. She was dressed, spoke to the staff about the membership programs, paid and in her car on the hour. She called me upset, b/c she didn't get her full 50 min session. The manager did agree to honor the other 30 mins from her giftcard (which of course will only be 20 min if you're lucky). I called back up there to explain that my daughter didn't get her full 50 mins and they disagreed with me. I'm sorry, but what happened to Customers being right? If she had gotten the full session she wouldn't have been in her car on the hour and called me upset. read more
