I was able to book a same day appointment with only a couple of hours' notice, which was a huge plus. The facility itself was very clean and well maintained. The massage room was comfortable, modern, and free of the overly themed or dated décor you sometimes see at massage places around LA. It felt relaxing as soon as I walked in. I've been getting massages regularly for about 20 years, so I have a pretty good sense of what makes a great massage. I wouldn't say I'm overly picky, but there are certain expectations when you book a 60 minute session. My appointment was scheduled for 2pm but my therapist didn't come into the room until around 2:07. By the time everything was set up and the massage actually began, it was closer to 2:10. Unfortunately, the massage still ended promptly at 3pm so I received about 50 minutes of hands-on treatment instead of the full 60 minutes I paid for. There was a slight language barrier, but we were able to communicate. I explained that I had recently been in a car accident and specifically wanted my neck, shoulders and back to be the focus. I also mentioned that I didn't want my calves worked on and that my lower body wasn't a priority although feet was fine. Despite that, nearly half of the massage focused on my lower body/ legs. My lower back wasn't addressed at all, which was super disappointing given the reason for my visit. The therapist's style was also much more static pressing than flowing massage. I don't mind compression techniques, but I prefer them to be combined with continuous strokes and work to release muscle knots. I never really felt that happen. A few things also felt incomplete or unbalanced. She had me lie on my side and spent quite a while working on one leg, but never turned me over to work on the other side. She gave one of my hands a nice massage but never did the other. Those little inconsistencies made the treatment feel less intentional and thorough. Overall, the experience was average. The clean facility, easy booking, and calming atmosphere were definite positives, but the shortened massage, lack of focus on the areas I specifically requested, and uneven treatment would keep me from returning. read more

Overall, we had a really good experience at this massage parlor. It was actually the first time I've ever had a massage where the therapist stood on my back, and she truly worked on my entire body. I really enjoyed her technique it felt very thorough and different from other places I've been to. The 90 minute couples massage we booked was great overall, and the space itself was incredibly clean and very spacious, which made it comfortable and relaxing. The only downside was that they accidentally forgot to include the hot stones, which were part of the package we booked. Also, the entrance and waiting area could use a bit more ambiance, as it didn't feel quite as calming as the rest of the space. I wanted to visit a few times before writing this review and overall it was good. My problem was the inconsistency in service and of course, the sign obliging you to leave a large tip. I understand there are many cheap people out there under tipping but I hate being stared at waiting for the tip. The one good thing is, they allow you to pay tip via credit card. I opted to leave cash - $25 for a 90 min massage is a good tip in my book...yet I felt awkward, like it wasn't enough. The massage itself - first time the masseuse wouldn't stop talking and commenting on my muscles being so tense... yes I know, hence why I get massages!! She said it about 10 times and I didn't feel relaxed because of it. My friend laying on the table next to me had a nice, quiet masseuse. Most of the massage was her walking on my body. This place is more of a Thai massage place so they do stand on your back. My recent visit with Didi was an A+ massage, I loved her and will be going back to see her again. She also asked if I was ok with her walking back, which I appreciated. My first visit ended with a nice cup of tea (in a cute teacup) with some cookies. My recent visit the other day, the front desk person offered me water in a paper cup while another girl was enjoying her cup of tea with biscuits. What changed? I got the same exact massage the last time so this time I went in with expectations of a relaxing tea at the end. It was strange & I was annoyed. Parking isn't great, even on weekday mornings because the small lot is shared by many businesses. There is street metered parking and if you're willing to walk, free neighborhood parking. It felt like she didn't know the body pressure points and was just randomly pressing painfully and lightly stroking instead of giving a real massage. Not consistent, no real care, and overall felt rushed even though it was supposed to be an hour and a fifteen minutes. The lady spoke no English which is unfortunate because I was trying to explain to her how I felt, and how she missed parts of my body. I bought a Groupon for an hour massage. The language barrier made it difficult to understand the details on the phone when I called for my appt. (which I felt worked in their favor to skip details of the cost.) I was told that they'd "match" my Groupon and give me free hot stone. When I got there I specifically asked for the relaxing massage and I opted in for a 15$ scalp massage in addition. At the end I was told my total was 30$ in addition to my Groupon as I accepted their "free hot stone" (as advertised) but was not free since I used my Groupon instead of "matching" their price. Yes, I know, HUH? I guess the hot stone was another 15$? Again see pic for clearly advertised FREE HOT STONE. ANYWAY, I tip in cash but now my bank statement is showing a charge of 44$ additional dollars in addition to the cash I had already given the receptionist. What. The. Heck? How did 15$ turn to $44 additional charge. I'm a ft student and single working mom that suffers from migraines and neck ache and I just wanted to do something nice for myself while I walked from the car shop from a hit and run on my parked vehicle that now requires an alignment and new parts for 380$. So disappointed. The masseuse was good but with shady confusing practices like this I wouldn't recommend this spot. So just to be clear... if you buy a Groupon don't use it, let it sit in your app and do nothing with it? instead pay again in person and this is how they'll "match it?" Or say "hey I want the Groupon price?" I've never had to do this. Crooked liars. I had purchased a 90 Minute "massage of your choice" and called yesterday, a Sunday, to make an emergency appointment because I overextended myself playing basketball two days in a row and was in pain. No problem 90 min deep tissue available for my preferred time slot of 5pm. But once I mentioned GROUPON the OWNER says oh we don't accept it on weekends! Oh and deep tissue is not a choice only lame Swedish and moderate combo. I reply: There is nothing in the deal or on the voucher that mentions those exclusions, that it says "Massage of your choice." Her inane reply: oh Groupon decides on the wording of those vouchers and deals. So I ask, because I'm in pain what it would cost to upgrade to deep tissue and this owner tells me that's not possible so I decide to keep the combo Massage on the books, to which she warned "oh you're not going to be happy". Then 15 minutes later, she calls and says they'll upgrade me to deep tissue for another $20. In other words nearly $100 between the cost of the Groupon and this upgrade fee. These people are liars and are not transparent so I canceled my appointment and luckily found another Groupon merchant named HI THAI Massage which gave me the best deep tissue, over 90 minutes of bliss, for less than $70 so you can imagine that the therapist got a nice tip! Zero stars. We booked a couples full body massage and it was the worst experience we've ever had. My wife's back is now hurting after the session. There were loud kids running around the whole time, completely ruining the relaxing space. One therapist walked out mid-massage and switched with someone else without coordinating, and they didn't even massage our legs even though we paid for full body. The therapist also kept leaving the room, which made it feel unprofessional and disorganized. We get massages every couple of weeks and this was by far the worst. We sadly weren't able to be in the same room though because they said it was already being used:/ My therapist was very nice and asked how I wanted my massage, I said medium/soft and I should've just said medium because I think she went a little too soft for my liking.
