I wanted to share my experience so that other first-time clients know what to expect. I did a walk-in and was accepted quickly, which I really appreciated. Before the massage began, I let the therapist know that this was my first massage ever. Because I had never had any type of massage before, I honestly didn't know what to expect or whether what I was experiencing was normal. I booked a 60-minute lymphatic drainage massage because I was specifically looking for a gentle, relaxing treatment. Within the first five minutes, I let the therapist know that the pressure was hurting. Throughout the session, I continued communicating that it was too painful and repeatedly asked for lighter pressure. I was taking deep breaths, crying out in pain at times, and even sweating because of how intense the pressure felt. The therapist would apologize and explain that I had a lot of deep knots that needed to be worked on, but the pressure continued. Since this was my very first massage, I assumed discomfort might just be part of the experience, and because I had already paid for the service, I stayed for the full 60-minute session. Looking back, I realize I likely received a deep tissue massage rather than the lymphatic drainage massage I had requested. The treatment involved very deep pressure using elbows and knuckles, focused on working out muscle knots, and even included hot stones. After the massage, I was very sore. I understand that some people specifically seek out deep tissue massages, and I'm not questioning the therapist's skill. However, it was not the service I requested or expected. If a lymphatic drainage massage at this business includes deep tissue techniques, I believe that should be clearly explained beforehand so clients, especially those getting their first massage, can make an informed decision about whether that's the type of treatment they want. read more

I wasn't expecting a luxury massage experience since this isn't a high-end spa, but I did expect basic professionalism and decent customer service. Unfortunately, this place didn't even meet those expectations. The masseuse threw the towel onto my body, and when she left the room to grab something, she didn't cover me appropriately. They also put a paper towel on the face cradle instead of using a proper covering. It felt like the basic standards of a massage business were missing. They also asked me to tip more because my appointment was close to closing time. That was honestly shocking. If accepting appointments near closing time is a problem, then they shouldn't make those times available for booking. To have the audacity to ask for a specific tip amount when I didn't even feel the service warranted the tip I had already left only added to the overall negative experience. I wanted to come back for Lisa but I remember how they only ask blacks to pay for the service before even getting started! I guess they think we cant afford it. TERRIBLE!!!!! WORST MASSAGE OF MY LIFE. i've been to many massage parlors in LA & I've never experienced something like this place. I actually had to stop the massage because it was so bad. I constantly had to remind her to go softer because she was hurting me. The lights were on bright the entire time, when I flipped over they didn't cover my eyes. It was freezinggg cold in the room. The blanket is very tiny and thin. Everything that could've went bad did. Eventually I asked to explain this to the manager, and I very politely told him I felt really bad. Me & my sister didn't want to hurt the girls feelings, but we just couldn't take it anymore. Another customer came and he tried to embarrass us in front of another customer. He was not understanding or empathetic. He was quite rude and only offered me a 5 dollar refund. I did not have a problem with the employees, I am mostly writing this review to let you guys know that their massage skills are not up to par. There are so many better places to go to. I also noticed that they made us pay before the massage and I saw another customer (white male) was paying after his service. just to clarify- I mentioned to the massage therapist several times almost every few minutes what was going wrong. I was shivering, I specifically out of my mouth with my own words, told her "it's not good" "I don't like it" "you're hurting me" I try to give her an opportunity to correct these things until I absolutely could not take it anymore. I requested a partial refund since I ended my massage early. I would not be writing this review if I was only trying to cheat them out of money. It was genuinely very, very bad. Fully refunded my sister who paid with card, but they only offered me five dollars cash which I would not accept because we paid separately. They also made us go into a couples room, even though we requested separate rooms. We did not make an appointment so we were not late. Here are all the things that went wrong during my 60 min session: - She only used her forearm for the entire massage, aside from when she massaged my scalp. the motion of her massage repeated in the same position for about 15 minutes. Simply just terrible. - After she used the hot coal on my back, during the session decided to clean the coal wasting the minutes I paid for to do her maintenance work. - She sat down on the bench while she was giving me a massage. Extremely lazy. - I was never asked the pressure level & constantly had to tell her "SOFTER" - Her breath stunk horribly and the fumes made its way through the room, since she was eating prior to my massage. - The light was on the entire time so when I flipped to my back, had to deal with the brightness. - Stereotyped me since I wouldn't give her a tip.. The list continues. This was the worst massage I have ever received. Rating 0 for professionalism and service. No wonder why they were so available, there was not a soul in there aside from the workers. This place needs to be shut down. UPDATE: since I'm unable to reply to the owner - Your male receptionist asked where I got my tacos from. I never requested for anything outside of a decent service, which you failed to provide. Apparently they have a call answering service to book appointments. Let me explain why this was a problem. The person I spoke to on the phone was fluent in English, and I simply booked a 60 min massage thinking they'd ask me what type of massage I'd want in person. Wrong. The person at the front desk was also the masseuse and had a major language barrier. I told her I wanted a Swedish massage but she did not understand and I knew she wasn't giving me a relaxing massage. She left me unattended 3 times with the door open as she tended to the front desk. My butt was exposed! After the massage I called and spoke to the person who had booked me and asked what type of massage I had received as the masseuse couldn't answer my questions. Turns out they had booked me for a deep tissue. On one of the occasions she left me unattended another client had come in for a massage and she sent him away because there was no availability despite him saying he had just spoken to someone on the phone who had told him 5 people were available for a massage. Smells chemicals that they uses to wash floor or facility, but all session being facedown and inhaling it was a torture for me, that's couldn't be compensated even with a best massage ever. Technique of this girl is great, but this "chemicals" bleach or something cheap and they probably thinking it's nice odor, but I felt intoxicated and poisoned to inhale it for whole time, In the end of session I felt like I want to throw up! On top of all this, employees in the facility doesn't speak English but still even without language knowledge they are forced me to pay upfront including a tip, lol... Excuse me, tip upfront, that's embarrassing, but after I added 15$ for my 30 mins massage which is 25% tip from amount they are charged me, their faces were angry and they starts to shouting on me and ask for more tip, all this nonsense before I even get massage! Then, when we started she is keeps door half open and my room was first from front desk and other employees talked laud and I h this smell from hall was stronger, also I heard all activity that's goin on in the hallway, a girl who does my massage always being interrupted and leaving for a while without saying why, then when she back to room she asks me if I want massage with coconut oil (in the middle of the my 30 min session, I said yes, and she brought oil and says I have to pay 10$ now, lol. I said I'll pay when I'll be done in the end, she is calmed down and continued to massage me. In the end when I paid this oil, this crazy on the front desk tried to remind me to pay tip, and I said "I actually did paid, but ok damn, I spend that day 30$ for tip total and 60$ for massage", only for 30 mins and came out with feeling that I got scammed and poisoned with this chemical odor. By the way, girl under name starts with "A.. something " don't remember exactly, she gaves me good massage and pressure was normal she is even as apologies gaves me few minutes more, but I wish she will find better boss and better place to give massage then this crazy people who running it, because they are cheap and their behavior is unprofessional and greedy!!! So, i'wont comeback, but feeling sorry for this girl and upset that I can't receive her service just because this place is horrible with horrible owners and management! Couples Massage was magnificent. Ladies took their time and provided a positive experience for my partner and I. When we entered they offered us tea and water. Environment was very clean, comfortable, and cute. They were open to questions and they also checked in on us about how intense we wanted our massages. Inside the rooms you can leave your stuff inside the cubbies and table. They have slippers, towels, and robes. For the couples massage they used rocks too in addition to our deep tissue too that both were wonderful in de-stressing and getting the knots. Highly recommend! Will be coming again. Oh!
