I was able to call and reserve a massage package while I'm late in my pregnancy. The front office lady was also able to recommend me a different package based on what exactly I wanted and she let me know the red light wasn't good for pregnancy. The ladies doing the scrub and massage were very helpful and gentle and asking if I felt okay the entire time. I went while I was almost 34 weeks pregnant and I am happy they offer their services to us still.

It was my first time visiting this location. Upon arrival, one of the staff members explained what to expect during the experience, although I would have appreciated a more detailed explanation of the different rooms and their benefits. She did let me know that guests have access to enjoy the available rooms during their visit. The interior design was very cute and visually appealing, with lots of mirrors throughout the space. Filming is not allowed, which is understandable given the privacy of other guests. I purchased the $150 package, which included 90 minutes total: 30 minutes of exfoliation followed by a 60-minute massage. The package also included a hair wash and a face mask. The massage was definitely not gentle, but they did an excellent job working out tension and knots. I especially enjoyed the stomach massage portion, which was surprisingly relaxing. The only negative aspect of my visit was that, at times during the massage, I noticed a slight odor that seemed to be coming from the drains or water system. Fortunately, it was only occasional and did not affect the entire experience. Overall, the staff were friendly, and I had a positive experience and would come back again to try other packages.

I had the absolute best time at this spa! It was my first time visiting a Korean spa, so I was super excited to spend the day here with my friend. We ended up exploring all the different rooms for about an hour before our scrub/massage appointments. Honestly, I could have spent even longer just wandering around and def will allocate more time next time. The salt room was definitely my favorite, it was very relaxing and calming. The clay room was a close second, and the sauna was an awesome way to open up our pores before the scrubs. When it was our turn for the body scrubs, they separated us into different rooms. The scrub itself was very thorough, not a single inch of skin was left untouched lol. There was a lot of body folding and moving around (and the table does get slippery!), but my scrub technician was always making sure I was balanced and comfortable before adjusting me. After the scrub, she rinsed off all the dead skin and gave me a wonderful massage using honey oil. I left feeling completely renewed, fresh, and at peace. I honestly wish this place was closer to where I live because I'd be here all the time. Until then, I'll definitely be making a stop every time I'm in LA.

I've been coming to Hugh for 4-5 years now and they never change their prices $30 for a 5 hour spa amenities day! I've really enjoyed being here and I wish I could find another one alike it! I've been to wispa but I love the red room here and the small bath! Thanks!

BAM! Found my new happy place! Seriously, where has this Korean spa been all my life? How did I not find this gem sooner? It's the perfect spot for mother-daughter time! Age 9 and up. Even though it's a smaller place, the variety of rooms is incredible: they have Jade, Charcoal, Infrared Magnet, Himalayan Salt, Ice, and Oxygen rooms, plus a Tea bath and Salt bath. The place is impeccably clean--seriously, bring socks and you might feel like you could ice skate across the floor! We treated ourselves to the body scrub and a massage, and it was so relaxing. Just remember to book your services ahead of time (they ask for a credit card to hold the spot). They also have a cute cafe, but note that it's only open Friday through Sunday. Pro Tip for Parking: They have a small lot, but if you're staying for the spa, aim for the spots closer to the street curb. To guarantee a good spot, try to get there before they even open, or you'll be hunting for street parking! Stay hydrated while you're there!

Soon gave me the best massage ever!!! My favorite treatment is the glow booster (milk and honey) since you literally feel like a glowing goddess and Soon has the most magical hands. Looking forward to my next service with Soon!

I came here for a girls day with a friend after contemplating it for months! I'm so glad I chose Hugh Spa - it was absolutely an experience! My main concern going in was having to shower in front of other people, but when I saw how free everyone was I got a sense of comfort and did my thing. I cannot even begin to explain how lovely it felt after showering and rinsing off with the mugwort tea! Afterwards, we hit up each room starting off first with the sauna, then the ice room for a little contrast therapy. And that was our pattern thru ought - the clay room, then the ice room, salt room, ice room lastly the infrared room and of course the ice room to end it with a bang! The receptionist was extremely kind and the ladies thru out the spa were also kind and helpful. Though we only came for the amenities pass this time, we will definitely be coming back for a service, I'm thinking a full body scrub next time!

Their salt scrubs are amazing! They give you a thorough scrub followed by a massage and facial. They also wash your hair and massage your scalp. The mineral bath is very soothing and the jade steam room is wonderful. The salt, infrared, clay and oxygen rooms are fantastic and you can cool off in the ice room in between. Tip! Order early if you're hungry, the wonderful lady who cooks the food cooks all dishes from scratch and they are well worth the wait.

Hugh Spa Reviews in Other Languages

Ask the Community - Hugh Spa

    Are men allowed?

Only for body massage. Not inside the spa

    Is it plus size friendly?

    Hi there! It is.

Do they have a private room for parties?

Short answer is No. The only private rooms are for individual massages. However I've seen bridal parties there before without issue. The place is small so they only have so many RSVP available every hour

Do you have to strip down completely? 🫣 I've been wanting to go here for years, but this is so scary to me.

Yes you do it's all women no one cares honestly no one is judging your body. You shower jacuzzi and steam naked before your scrub and massage but then you wear a robe for the rooms

How much do 30 minute and 1 hour massages cost?

$110 an hour for Swedish Massage

    Is it co Ed?

No the main spa is female only. I believe they do offer men's services in a different area though.

What kind of hot tea do you guys serve in the eating area?

    Complimentary barley tea

Can I wear a robe inside the different rooms and not go nude?

    Yes. The robes they provide.

Do you have to show proof of vaccination or require wearing a mask on Dec 9th, 2022?

As of Feb 2023, no to both.

Is there a Co ed Hot tub?

No. They offer services for men in private rooms, but the communal spa spaces are for women only.

Do you have Jim Jil bang?

JJB can mean many things to Americans. This is a women only spa, so there's no "common area". There is dry sauna and dry lounge to rest, but there's no co-ed area for men, does that make sense? They only allow men in private massage rooms.

Are they only open by appt for services or can I just pay to use the amenities? Do We have to be vaccined?

You can just pay $30 for amenities. You'll get access to 7 rooms total (wet and dry).

Do you have to show proof of vaccination or will a mask suffice?

    Covid test too

    Is the cafe open?

    Not in Dec 2021.

Hi, I bought 10 admissions last January. Unfortunately Covid thing seems never ends. This is my favorite spa in the town. I still have remaining seven coupons, and it is due by 2021 January. Can I use it after Covid?

    yes! you can

When are they opening back up?

they've been back open since late april!

How many hot/cold tubs are there?

there is only 1 hot tub, no cold tubs.

Do they have private scrub/massage rooms or all done in one area with other people?

They are all done side by side divided with a curtain

Do all massages have body scrub first?

No, only if u choose combo that come with it.

How much do it cost to enjoy everything except massages?

If you mean the entrance fee it's $20 or so and it covers all rooms. But any additional services such as waxing or massages or scrubs then those are additional and have different prices. But the entrance itself is very affordable as I said and you…

First, we got a couple of soju slushies and ordered the fried dumplings. I have never liked dumplings, but these were THE BOMB! They came with a sweet chili sauce that really made it taste great. Then, we enjoyed the Himalayan salt room. Some people were talking too much which was annoying, but I understand it's a spa and people come with their friends and family to unwind. We enjoyed a few more sauna rooms before heading downstairs. Downstairs, there were two pools and 3-4 hot tubs. We ordered delicious mojitos at the pool bar and enjoyed the rest of our time. I cannot wait to come back. A day pass was only $40 to enjoy all the amenities. Although the drinks and food were extra, I was so glad to be able to order food and drinks at a spa.

Unfortunately, our visit today was so disappointing that we decided to leave almost immediately. After showering, we went to the women's jacuzzi and realized it wasn't working. We let a staff member know, and all she said was that the button was broken, it was no longer in service, and that we should go to the front desk. There was no apology or effort to offer a solution. When we spoke with Levante at the front desk, he was understanding and professional, just as he always is. He greeted us kindly, listened to our concern, and let us know that since we had just arrived, we could receive a refund. We appreciated his customer service. While we went back to get changed so that we could leave, our experience took a turn for the worse. When we got back to the front, Jason, the janitor, was incredibly rude and unprofessional. Instead of trying to help or speak respectfully, he said, "You've only been here 9 times, and there's nothing we can do for you." His comment was unnecessary, dismissive, and completely inappropriate. As paying customers, we expected to be treated with courtesy, not spoken to in that manner. The issue wasn't just that the jacuzzi was out of service-things break. The bigger problem was the lack of communication and the way we were treated afterward. If a major amenity is unavailable, customers should be informed before paying. And no employee, regardless of their position, should speak to guests disrespectfully. Thank you to Levante for being professional and helpful, but because of the poor handling of the situation and Jason's rude behavior, this visit left a very negative impression. I hope management addresses both the communication around out-of-service amenities and the way customers are treated. REPLY TO THEIR RESPONSE : First, of all 10 to 15 minutes after arriving, we approached the front desk to report the issue. A staff member named Levante explicitly informed us that we could receive a refund. Based entirely on that assurance, we immediately went to shower so we could leave. Our primary reason for visiting your facility is to use the women's jacuzzi; had we been told a refund was not possible, we would not have rushed to shower and exit. When we returned to the front desk, we waited several minutes for Jason. Rather than listening to our explanation, Jason approached us with a very poor, rude attitude. We spent another 20 minutes trying to resolve the matter with him.To be clear, I never initially demanded a full refund. I only expected one because your own staff member offered it to us. Given the misinformation and the poor service we experienced, I am simply asking for a $10 discount credit toward a future visit. I strongly encourage management to properly train staff on company policies and take accountability for the conflicting information provided by your team. It's frustrating to see so many companies automatically defend their employees instead of taking the time to genuinely investigate customer complaints. Too often, it feels like the focus is on avoiding negative reviews rather than determining what actually happened. The reality is that businesses and employees make mistakes. When multiple customers share similar negative experiences, it's difficult to believe that every one of them is inaccurate. Instead of dismissing complaints or becoming defensive, companies should take them seriously, investigate them fairly, and hold employees accountable when necessary. Owning mistakes and addressing them is what builds trust and credibility. Customers are much more likely to respect a business that acknowledges when something went wrong and takes meaningful steps to improve, rather than one that automatically shifts blame or dismisses legitimate concerns.

Absolute game changer for post-op recovery!…read more I visited Lymphatic Flow just 5 days post-op, and I cannot recommend them enough. I had the pleasure of working with both Rejane and Letty, and they are hands-down the best. Having experienced several different LDM therapists after them, I can confidently say that these two are my absolute favorites. From the start, the experience was seamless. They both greeted me warmly outside the salon and led me to their room (suite #7) which is incredibly whimsical, clean and relaxing; exactly the kind of environment you want to be in when you're healing. Their professionalism, knowledge, experience and certifications really shine through. Easy to talk to and personable too. I loved how collaborative they were; Rejane took notes in my chart so that when I saw Letty my next appt, she knew my exact surgical history and what areas needed focus. I was feeling anxious about my post-op swelling and lumps, but they completely reassured me, while also validating that my doctor had done a great job. They were so incredibly gentle and careful with me, even offering to help me take off and put back on my faja, which was not easy for me. I've had 5 total LDM therapists, and they were the only ones to offer the help so far. The results speak for themselves: I walked in wearing my faja on the loosest hook and left with it on the tightest hook. My swelling went down significantly, and this visit felt like the ultimate turning point in my recovery. My mobility improved immediately afterward. Since they work with a lot of post op clients, they even recommended me to size down on my faja, which I also appreciated. On top of the top-tier care, the logistics were flawless. Communication was great, and I appreciated the reminder texts the day before and the day of my appointment. The location is easy to find, parking is a breeze, and you can grab your parking validation stickers right from the vending machine inside the salon. I'm not local, but I bought the package, and was able to transfer it to my MIL for LDM to help with her lipedema. If you are looking for legitimate, skilled, and deeply caring post-op lymphatic specialists, Rejane and Letty at Lymphatic Flow is strongly recommended.

Okay... I think I just got spoiled because I don't know how I'm supposed to go to anyone else after…read morethis. Hands down the best massage I've ever had. I came in expecting a good lymphatic drainage massage, but this was on a whole different level. Rejane is incredibly talented, knows exactly what she's doing, and somehow finds every spot that needs attention. And can we talk about her energy? She's such a genuinely kind, calming person. Her vibe alone makes you feel relaxed before the massage even starts. That was such an unexpected bonus. If you're thinking about booking, just do it. Your body will thank you... and you'll probably end up planning your next appointment before you even leave. Thanks, Rejane!
