After sharing that I didn't want my arms or legs touched and only wanted my neck shoulders and back to be worked on she told me there would be a $10 upcharge due to their "policy." I agreed, but what followed didn't reflect any professionalism or care. The technique was disjointed, repetitive, and lacked any sense of body awareness. It jumped from overly soft touch to sudden, jarring pressure with no rhythm or transition. It felt like the therapist was just going through motions without any intention or responsiveness. If you have PTSD, physical trauma, or specific boundaries, I strongly urge you to avoid this place. My body was tense the entire session once she crossed boundaries. I disassociated so quick, and she was so unaware. The therapist ignored nonverbal cues, continued working in areas I told her I didn't want worked on, and at one point used hot stones (which I didn't request) in ways that felt invasive and deeply inappropriate. I was completely dissociated by the end of it -- emotionally overwhelmed and retraumatized. On top of that, the therapist left the room multiple times, reducing actual massage time. When the session ended and I went to pay, I had already signed the receipt -- but she pointed to the tip line and said, "Tip? I worked so hard." Caught off guard, I left a very small tip just to get out of the situation, even though I felt completely disregarded throughout the session. Afterward, I sat in my car crying for nearly an hour, trying to calm down. This wasn't just a disappointing experience -- it was an upsetting one. There is no trauma-informed care, no real respect for client boundaries, and no understanding of how to provide a safe, therapeutic massage. If you're looking for professionalism, safety, and actual healing -- this is not the place to go.

Second, the A/C began to struggle, equipment broke, and the sauna broke. I learned it was because "they don't have the budget." That's fine, I get it... until I learned they were installing a $15,000 audio system... to play terrible music? The existing audio was working fine; the music selection just sucked. It seems all they care about is trying to make a trendy TikTok to go viral. Time went by and ownership refused to take any accountability for broken amenities or a dirty facility. The staff did what they could with the limited supplies and equipment they were given, but management's only solution was to run a floor-cleaning machine in the middle of peak hours--leaving the entire gym floor a soapy, unusable mess. To make it weirder, they use their Facebook page to air corporate grievances and financial struggles, seemingly wanting members to feel sorry for them, rather than posting actual gym updates or promotions. What to expect for a foot massage: It's easy to get an appointment. You sit in a comfy lounge chair, wearing your regular, comfy clothes. You are in one big room (like a nail salon) but curtains give you a little privacy from the person next to you. The lights are dim and there is peaceful music playing. Everyone is quiet, communicating in whispers if needed. They drape towels over you and give you a small towel to cover your eyes. The place is clean and service is efficient.
