Absolutely terrible. Randomly called for an appointment today because I'm off work and I have free time. Showed up to my 90 min massage early since I was a new client. I figured I would have to fill out paper work or let them know my preferences. Didn't fill out any paper work and nobody asked me my preference. One lady walked me to my room, and I waited for my therapist to come in to tell her my preference. She didn't understand anything I said. I requested no scent/ no lotion. Just plain oil. Bc I have an allergy to certain scents. 5 min into my massage my therapist takes a phone call while still working on me. Proceeds to add a big portion of scented LOTION to my back. I immediately got up from the table and left because this was supposed to be a peaceful smooth experience and it was exactly opposite. I will NEVER be back. While I love Therapeutic Thai Sugar Land for its quality and tranquility, I just couldn't find a masseuse that fit my needs. I took a chance at Massage Nara and ended up with the best massage I've had in 3 years. Every stroke was intentional and my masseuse took great care to make sure I was comfortable. She really worked out all my kinks, but did so in a way that left me feeling like a buttery noodle afterwards. I treated my husband to a massage with my masseuse shortly after my visit. I don't know what the hell I was thinking, because now he and I have to share *my* masseuse. The 60 minute body massage is $60. Considering how much I've spent on crap massages in the past, $60 seems very fair. Make an appointment before you go. Upon arrival, wear a mask and tell them which essential oil you want. For a body massage you can take everything off. You can keep your mask on or off during the massage. I was really impressed that they used some sort of machine to disinfect the air, so I felt comfortable taking my mask off. I'm so relieved that I don't have to deal with anymore unrelenting body pain. I'm so glad I don't have to waste anymore money searching for a massage therapist. We got the the 60 mins of body massage and 30 mins foot massage. They put us in the first room with the sliding plastic fan type curtain. That whole thing was taped up with duck tape. Room seems pretty cleaned but very small for 2/couple massages. They have some disposable sheets as well as regular sheets. The massages were not bad, but they were so loud and kept walking in and out of the room. At one point, I think there were 4 people talking to each other. Price was fair and they open till 1000 PM. If you need to get a last minute massage then this is the place, but if you have time then probably need ti book an appointment elsewhere. read more

I was in real need of message and wanted to get something close to house so went to message Nara based on reviews. I got the 90 min deep tissue message it was very nice and I did come around refreshed. I give them 3 stars only because when I was signing my receipt and wrote $10 for tip the person taking my payment stopped me and pointed to a sign and told me that I need to give $15 or $20 for tip. I have never been to a place where you are told how much to give. I am normally a good tipper but this just turned me off. Anyways just be prepared to at least pay $15 or $20 on top of the listed price. read more

They are very professional and have great masseuses! They want every person to leave satisfied, and even serve wine, coffee and nuts when you are waiting for your massage to start. They have an intake form that you fill out so you can customize your massage to suit what your body's need are. Their most valuable option for massage is 30 minutes foot and 30 minutes back for $35. This is a killer deal if you ask me as most massage places that offer something similar charge around $60. I come at least once every two weeks, and I always leave refreshed on a Sunday ready to take on the new week at work. They have a cash buyer program where if you purchase $300 in massages up from you will get a $50 credit toward your future massages. Unfortunately, it looks as though they have raised their prices now in the last month by $10 for all services.
