Probably one of the strongest massages (if you like that) in the area. The deep tissue is a Thai flavored version. The therapists are on a rotation of some sort so it may be difficult to schedule a specific person unless you decide to schedule a few days ahead. Having different therapists is fun though; each worker has their own style. You might get a couple's room by yourself or a standard room. No heated massage tables but that's usually fine. The temperature is comfortable and there's ambient music/nature noise sounds playing. In terms of customization, you can more or less say what you DON'T want but saying where to focus doesn't lead to much extra on the trouble spots. To be clear, the best of them will give you a massage you'll actively hate (unless you're a masochist) and if you get a particularly strong therapist you'll be sore the next day. However, after that you will feel limber and pain free for a bit once the DOMS from having your muscles kneaded like dough go away. Three notes: if you park early enough and the valet guys aren't around just toss the orange cone to the side. The bathroom is a separate part of the building and they'll give you a key. Buy the gift certificates--flat rate and if you buy ten massages you get two free; you must use them all in a year from the time of purchase. TL;DR the worst you'll get from here is a satisfying massage and the best will make you feel like your muscles and joints just got rejuvenated by a couple months. Heavena is a bit more pricey than some of their neighbors but the therapists put in the work and if you don't say they made you groan or try to shift away some I'll either call you a liar or assume you have a back made of concrete. read more

He told me that he worked in the hospitals in Thailand and it was part of her training for 4 years.She went to school for it.They take it very seriously in thailand and she had to go out every week with a Doctor a nurse and herself.And teach the elderly how to help themselves and top them how to relieve pain that they had before.They had no one to teeth them.Or help them.When she came here , her sister and her opened up Heavena Spa. 12 years ago. The place looked pretty nice and clean. The ladies at the front were agreeable and everything went great up until the point of my combination (thai + swedish) massage. The beginning of the massage apparently involves the masseuse stepping on your back. Let's just say that this lady was WAY too heavy to be stepping on anything other than a treadmill. After having my back destroyed for a few minutes, the masseuse the proceeded to what seemed to be her first massage. There was no direction, she applied pressure in random areas, and completely ignored knots on my back, etc... I would have genuinely looked past the belly fat and heavy breathing down my neck if there was any semblance of a good massage. Terrible experience, if not traumatic. read more

This place is probably my favorite massage place. I've tried a bunch of massage places around here, and this place really hit all the spots. This is a late review from when I went weeks ago. I called very last minute at the end of the day & luckily they had an appointment ready in the next 30-45 minutes. The ladies at the desk and the masseuse were really nice! The massage was awesome. I like my massages firm. I got the combo massage & I felt like I didn't even need the deep tissue bc the masseuse was already really firm with the pressure. The Thai portion got me in a pretzel but it felt so good and she even cracked my back. The price isn't too bad either! Parking might be tough in the day time as the lot is valet and there's only street parking, but after a certain time the lot is open to everyone. I will definitely be coming back. read more

It was a a really mediocre massage. The therapist did not seem licensed. No real technique, no specialized focus on the areas I mentioned. She was also sweaty which was off putting when she put her hands on my face, neck etc. her breath also didn't smell great. The sheet that was on top of me while she was doing the massage was rough. Headrest was also not comfortable ! I woke up today with pain in my jaw from it. Disappointing, reviews were misleading for sure. read more
