Albert is a wonderful therapist!! I came to see him for some shoulder and hip pain that had been keeping me from sleeping well. I got a 90 minute session with CBD and it was awesome!! DO NOT PATRONIZE THIS LOCATION!!! My therapist Nina who initially I thought it to be odd she had on a mask but okay whatever. Needless to say I contracted covid after this appointment. SHE consistantly pulled the mask down to EAT ICE!!!! I contacted them to inquire why she was wearing a mask and I was informed personal information, that she did have a "condtion" but I wont say what the condtion is because I shouldn't have been told her personal business. That was indeed a HIPPA violation. Normally during a massage I anticipate it to be a time of total zen time for relaxation. That DID NOT HAPPEN!!! Nina chewed ICE loudly the entire time. I reported this and was told she has an illness and has to chew ice. PERHAPS this isn't the correct career choice for her. I did tip but not it was a enjoyable experience because it was not. I requested to cancel my membership since this has caused me to miss work and miss money. I was told no I have toait until they take the first payment. REALLY why should I have to pay anything for a service I no longer want to use. I don't trust them anymore. This was the worst experience ever. Little background: I am currently an esthetics student and I scheduled for a massage at 8:30 am I was told when I got there the appointment was for 8 when I was explicitly told over the phone 8:30 so they offered me to either change times or get a facial. I wasn't free at the time they offered me so I chose the facial. Staff was very nice, my esthetician was very nice but problems started when the facial began, I did not receive extractions during my seaweed facial nor was it even close to as relaxing as my fellow students facials are. She used cold esthetics wipes for all but two steps and did not wipe my face well enough for all product to be removed. There was no pressure through the facial and most of my time on the table was spent waiting for the next step of the facial. I'm not one to complain this is the first negative review I've ever given and I've never been dissatisfied enough with any service to even think of complaining, but Jesus was that so sub-par. I'm genuinely upset and feel so ripped off. Do not go to this location if you are looking for a good service. They are all talk but no action. I had a really great hot stone massage here last week! Totally worth the $14 up charge. The chain store is like the rest in style and cleanliness, no complaints here other than what I've said before... the chairs in the relaxation/waiting room are uncomfortable IMHO. I was offered water upon arrival and departure, which is important for massage and that's always appreciated. I have had a Massage Luxe membership for over 12 years and with the high turnover, it's difficult to find someone you like that will stick around. My last favorite therapist went on maternity leave & never returned (St.,Charles location), and I've tried several therapists there, but no one compares to Christina. I tried O'Fallon and Chesterfield (my original favorite place), and couldn't, find anyone nearly as good, so I tried this location. Worst massage I've ever had. I have been to Massage Luxe before and never had any problems. I booked a deep tissue massage and specifically selected "deep" pressure on my intake form as well. My massage was hardly even "firm" pressure. She basically just rubbed lotion on my body and did not have any kind of rhythm to how she was doing things either. She also talked during the first 20+ minutes of the massage which I have never had a masseuse do. She never asked how I was feeling or if the pressure was okay. I was very disappointed in Message Luxe. First time and last! I understand that you only get 50 hands on minutes and 10 for changing cloths, but only 35 minutes? I even came early to fill out paper work. I pointed this out to the girl at the desk, she apologized, as she took my money. I went and sat in the lobby while my girlfriends finished up their messages, the girl at the front desk then came over and offered me a discount on my next visit. I guess she deside I was telling the truth. And after all that, they changed my girlfriend $14 for a scalp extra, after quoting her $11 not 50 minutes earlier. Love Massage Lux in Creve Coeur! I moved here last January, and was given a gift card by my niece. She suggested going to Jeff and she was absolutely correct with that referral! He is fantastic and has helped me so much! His overall massage is really wonderful. He especially has been able to help me with a knee issue and any other flare up that I may be experiencing. Jeff knows when to add pressure but will listen if he needs to change the amount he uses. Since I work out on a regular basis, I see Jeff twice a month and this has definitely made a difference. I highly recommend using massage on a regular basis for anyone into fitness. And definitely with Jeff!!!! I also wanted to comment on the front desk staff. I've been a member of this chain for more than a year now, and although I keep trying to get up the nerve to cancel my membership in order to cut back on expenses, I go in for a massage and my mind is instantly changed by my regular therapist of choice. The 90 minutes of bliss is enough to convince anyone that this is that extra monthly expense that really is worth the money. Unfortunately, the therapists are not always consistent. And if you get one that doesn't fit your personal preference, you can end up feeling a bit underwhelmed and disappointed. It took me several months to find one that I really liked. I even asked for someone with more experience, and still was paired with someone who didn't understand that a massage is my time for peace, quiet and relaxation, rather than chit-chat. Once I did find a great therapist, however, I was hooked, and continue to come back, making sure to request my favorite by name each time. The prices are reasonable, but many forget to included the added cost of tipping every month. So even if $58.88 (it's less if you choose to go with the basic 60 minute monthly session) seems like a bargain, don't forget about the gratuity, which should run you at minimum $15-20 if you're doing the right thing and tipping based on full-cost. read more

Technically, I went to FaceLuxe - it's a part of MassageLuxe. I had a facial for a groupon so I decided to give it a try. I walked in and the two receptionists were occupied. One was on the phone explaining why she couldn't refund a membership fee and the other was busy trying to upsell another groupon user into their monthly facial package. Uuuuugh. I hate those packages and I have such a hard time saying no. I was already dreading getting that lecture when I left. I digress.. so neither of them greeted me. I stood awkwardly inside the door for about 2 minutes before one of them broke free long enough to tell me they'd be with me in a minute. Pet peeve of mine, I deserved at least a hello when I walked in. The facial itself was awesome. Rebecca had an awesome touch and other than the "extraction" part it was super relaxing. It was a bit odd because the groupon offered 4 types of facials but nobody every asked me which one I wanted. I couldn't decide anyway, so I just rolled with whatever she felt like doing. Afterward, getting dressed I was steeling myself against the dreaded product sell. Did I mention I have a hard time saying no to buying things I don't need?! To my surprise, Rebecca handed me a facial "prescription" with what she'd used on me and how often she thought I should come back. Oh, and that was when I learned I'd had the Moisture Boost Facial. Very, very nice. I appreciated this list and the advice - but even more, I appreciated no selling. I walked out and there was only one receptionist left (it was 8:30 at this point). Just a heads up for anyone else that goes with a groupon, they push very hard to get you to sign up for their "membership." I had to decline repeatedly until the lady at the desk conceded. I went to cancel my account and instead of closing it for me, They switched the forms and signed me up for a 20$ pay as you go plan and have been drawing it out of my account without me knowing for 2 years. They had no remorse when called and wouldn't help me at all. They acted as if getting the account t canceled today was a service. When it was what I asked for 2 years prior. This place is trash. The massages always start late and end early. This entire establishment is a waste of time and money. I got stuck with a massage I paid for I won't get credit for and won't be able to use. I've stopped in twice, and I am definitely a fan. The biggest reason is probably the locale. Being literally 2 minutes away doesn't hurt a bit. Other reasons why I like it here: I was treated in the same fashion on two separate occasions. Once I arrived in my office clothes, the other time I was scrubbed out in scruffy sweatpants and a t-shirt 2 sizes too big. The receptionist will ask if you have a preference between a male or female practitioner. Personally, I don't care, but it's nice to know the option is available. Both masseurs were great - they asked if I had any requests for areas to work on or avoid and listened well. At no time was I ever uncomfortable around them as they were working on me. I left loosened and relaxed but not worn out. Plus, I picked up a month-to-month membership that gives full access to their water massage bed. Apparently, I can use it as frequently as I want (in 15 minute increments). I tried it once. It was alright. It's nice because it works the whole body, however, as it's motorized, it's very limited on it's capabilities. All in all: nice place. read more

Heather is saving my life!!! I have been to many massage therapist! (My therapist with massage luxe have almost always been great). I usually suffer from severe neck and back pain caused by scoliosis in my neck. Since going to heather once a month, i have minimal to no pain. She truly works magic! This was my first and last time at this establishment. I really hated my massage instead of being relaxing and at ease I was tense due to the pain that I was in. You see on my preference sheet I stated that I wanted a light massage but it was so rough I thought he figured I was a man. Horrible experience. Bought 2 gift cert for my wife's 50th birthday on Valentines day. She called the very next day, the 15th at 11:00 am and asked for an appointment for her and her best friend. They said we can make the two appointments for 11:30 for tomorrow. My wife shows up on the 16th and she is informed she already missed her appointments as they supposedly made them for the same day, 1/2 hour from the time she called. To say she was disapointed would be an understatment. They claimed they called the house and left messages, which they did not and we had no record of any phone calls and when she ask for a refund, they said "NO" This was not there fault. She asked to speak to the owner and he came out and was very nasty. This was suppose to be the highlight of my wife's 50th birthday weekend and to be treated so poorly and to be told this was my wife's fault is a horrible CSI issue. I know myself, nor my friend or my family will ever return to this establishment. If this is the way he runs his business, shame on him and he deserves what he will get. Customer service wasn't too great and facial was nothing special. I called before my facial and asked what were the different ones, and was told they would go over it with me once I arrived. However, two minutes later I received a message that I was getting a seaweed facial. I was running about 7 minutes and received a call that the my one hour time limit was starting now, I said no problem because I was behind. Once I got there I was only told about the seaweed facial and just went with it. It was a basic facial nothing too special to set it apart, no lip scrub or eye cream just standard cleanse, exfoliate, extraction, steam, and moisturize. Then once it was over I realized that my facial only lasted 40 min and I was kind of disappointed just because of the rude call that stated it was exactly a hour. Went here last night in desperate need of a massage. appt was for 20:00 and the girl only start massaging me at 20:08. Massage was probably one of the worst i have ever had,( i asked for back and shoulders), i was basically massaged continuosly on the right half of my back for about 20, then she moved on the left side of my back for the next 20 min, then asked me to roll over and did my shoulders for all of 5 min. Then she got up and said she was finished at 8:50, once again you pay for an hour and you never get the full hours worth of massage so for this reason and the terrible massage i will never go back read more
