My biggest concern was the fact I could feel their hands shaking/trembling while massaging me. I've just not experienced that before and assume their hands had to be tired. I've gone to her for both 1.5 Hr deep tissue massages and 1 Hr reflexology. She's truly a professional and will make you feel like a million bucks the second you leave the spa. What I really appreciate about her the most is that she listens. When I tell that a certain area has been bothering me, she actually takes the time to work it out, it's so simple but not every therapist actually hears you out. I had a terrible experience at this location and the most the manager could do was offer me a dollar tree face mask. I came here to get a facial two times. The first time was a proper aesthetician that took care of me really well. The second time I just went to their ' Aesthetician' Put me in a dim lit massage room And proceeds to rub oily lotion on my face for 30 minutes and calling a facial. She gets lotion in my lashes I just paid 200$ for and my hair that I just got done, not even cleaning my face properly whatsoever. When I walked to my car, I could see everything still on my face not even the front desk told me there was lotion in my hair and all my lashes. The aesthetician didn't do proper extractions, using her fingers to dig into my skin, not using the proper tools or anything close to what an actual facial should be like; in which I've had many. I was laying there confused for almost an hour wondering what was happening and I really should've just gotten up and walked out. Then when I contacted the franchise about what happened they wouldn't let me speak with anyone higher up nor the owner of the franchise. Don't come here if you care about your skin. They were very accommodating and got me checked in very quickly - even after I added the CBD add on after being checked in. Shortly after, Victoria greeted me with a warm smile. From the start, Victoria was very attentive and asked me my preferred pressure, target areas and even asked if I had any issues with her massaging my scalp (as a black woman this is major!). I can't even tell you who the masseuse was because she never told me her name. She was nice enough, but the only question asked was if there were any places I wanted focus on, which was my back and shoulders. There was no discussion besides that- nothing about the temperature of the room, temperature of the bed, etc. The back/trapezoid massage was thorough- which was appreciated. However, the masseuse massaged each leg and arm for 30 seconds maximum and did not massage neither my hands nor feet. If it weren't for my mother enjoying her massage during our couple's massage, I would've left my prenatal massage within the first 10 minutes. Firstly, the pillows I was to use did not have sheets on them so time was spent to get the sheets and place them on the pillows. Secondly, I was instructed to change into my robe. Liagia, my therapist, left me to change, but entered the room with no warning and left the door opened so that potential passerbys could see me half dressed. The entire massage with Liagia felt like I was driving on a very bumpy dirt road. Her techniques were similar to that of a DJ scratching a record. Additionally, her pressure was as light as simply rubbing lotion. I know it may be difficult to imagine being shaken like a rattle with the pressure of an oil rub, but she managed to successfully do so. At the end of the massage (which ended about 7 minutes early), she recommended I take a hot shower to feel more relaxed. Pregnant women are not to take hot showers due to reduction of blood flow to the baby. I normally wouldn't write such a poor review, but I am trying to prevent her from being unsafe with other pregnant customers. This was the first massage I've ever received that I honestly couldn't wait to finish. I give this place 2 stars because my mom did enjoy her massage and the receptionist, Christopher, was very accommodating when we were trying to find the location.
