MassageLux in Beaver Creeks Common, Apex posted a deal online on Facebook back in May and I took that and they told me that if I pay additional I believe $20, I will get another massage.. I told them I don't want the membership and asked them to cancel the membership. The lady at the front desk said she canceled it and I just realized, they have been charging my credit card for 6 months- just called them and they were so rude and told me that they won't refund. The lady said- "call corporate but corporate won't pick up the phone". I called corporate but it's just an answering service- what should I do? read more

Absolutely love this place. It's serene and relaxing and a great value. I typically see Frank and he is a god-send. While he's only there one or two days a week he's totally worth it. I originally went here on a Groupon and signed up for a reduced fee membership. I would highly recommend this place. The membership is a great deal. read more

MassageLuXe is fantastic! I purchased a Groupon and gave them a shot. They delivered! The place is much nicer then many of the other massage spots around the Triangle. They claim to be a little more "luxurious" and I'd agree that they do have an edge. Their waiting area has a mini-fridge with bottled water and some other drinks. Their massage beds are far more comfortable and heated. The staff is friendly and my therapist was excellent! The Hydromassage Bed is a unique and fun experience, but not the best atmosphere. Their membership options are really pre-payment plans and provide a pretty good deal if you don't want to Groupon Hop for your next massage. I think I've finally found my massage home at this place! read more

I have received wonderful customer service here! The manager, Stephanie, is especially helpful and friendly. The staff always stands up when a guest enters, which is above the usual customer service norm. The only reason I rate 4 stars rather than 5 is because the quality of massage therapist has been hit and miss. After finding a couple good therapists that I liked, they soon left. I have now started seeing a highly talented therapist, at the recommendation of the front desk staff. Candi/Candy (spelling?) goes to great lengths to make sure that her client has both a therapeutic and relaxing experience. She is very talented at her craft! read more

Massage Luxe is awesome! My husband got me a massage for Valentine's Day and I have been going every other week since. So relaxing but the best part for me is my " massage" " therapist" BEN! He's amazing with his massages and stretches but most of all he makes me understand what he's doing as he's doing it and also makes me aware of what areas it will help. And poor Ben gets to hear me vent about everything that's been going on in my life since the last time I saw him but not only does he listen he gives me great view points and advice. Let's just say he should be getting paid more than he does ha! If your looking for a great place to unwind and also really relax Massage Luxe is your place. read more

The services were fine, but when I wanted to cancel my membership, they made it difficult. I was told I would have to come in to the location in person to cancel. When I asked, "Why?", I was told it was policy. What a lame answer. Policies exist for a reason and my guess is that the reason is so that it is difficult for the member to cancel. Because I could not get in that day and the money for the next month was going to be drafted the next day, they get another month of money. Terrible customer service. If a member wants to cancel, it shouldn't be difficult. read more

This was my first time at this location. I was excited to get a massage a popular chain that I had been wanting to try for a while. Upon entry, I was greeted at the door. The staff was friendly my entire visit. When checking in, I told them I wanted to the deal they have posted on Yelp for the $35 massage or facial. I was told the deal was not valid anymore and that it had not been valid for long time even though it was still posted. I then filled out paperwork in a separate room on and Ipad. I honestly just prefer pen and paper because it's eaiser. I was then taken back for the massage a few minutes late and it was very nice! I was very relaxed by the end and did not want it to end. At checkout, I was sad the hear how expensive there membership is. I wanted to join right away, but I could not with better prices in the area. Overall, I had a decent visit, I just wish the pricing was lower. read more

I had a great experience at Massage Luxe Spa's soft opening yesterday, and am so glad I dropped in! The staff is friendly and professional and the spa is clean, fresh, and has a soothing ambiance. I am so disappointed with my massage and lack of follow up from the management. I had a 2hr massage sch and asked that The "music" be turned off. Apparently they were not able to do this because of the room I was in. If this was explained at the beginning of the massage and offerered to change rooms that would have been acceptable. But that did not happen until 1 hour into the massage. It was annoying that one minute music was on...then off..then on. The massage was a rub not a massage. I asked that the manager call me but there was no follow up. I will be canceling my membership. read more

The only reason I give one star is for the front desk staff, they were super nice. Got in on a special 90 min for $50.00. I want my 90 min back!! It was hands down the worst massage ever. It is a beautiful spa with affordable prices, I'll give it that, but they do not know how to treat their employees! Pay was a joke, racially insensitive comments toward some of the Hispanic employees (ex: I like to hire Spanish workers, they work hard for little pay) and they, at least in the beginning of their opening, KEPT employee's tips! So if you left a tip to your therapist on a card, they DID NOT get it. If some felt they got a unsatisfactory massage using the groupon you should have asked the therapist exactly how much they were getting paid for that massage. If you were only getting paid less the half your usual pay for your job, would you feel inclined to give it your all? Probably not. read more

I always leave feeling very refreshed. My massage therapist, Nicole, is amazing and always does an evaluation before you lay down to discuss any problem areas or any areas you want to target. She makes a very efficient use of time and makes you feel relaxed, which is something that is difficult for me to feel with many other therapists. Purchased through groupon special, which after additional promo was $29, listed for 60 minute massage plus 15 minute hydrobed. 20 minutes of the massage session was a total waste- 10 for dressing/ undressing and an additional 10 used for breathing to "calm"- I almost told my therapist to get on with it already, I was there for massage not yoga or Lamaze. The massage itself was a joke. I indicated firm pressure, asked for the pressure to increase during the massage itself- twice, and would describe it really and truly little more than someone putting lotion on. Not at all what I would describe as "massage"- my toddler provides more pressure. And I found out only at the end of the session that I could not do the hydrobed at the end, which was not indicated in any way prior. So essentially I paid for a 30 minute lotion rub down session which was not worth the effort and certainly not the price paid- my husband could do better at home for free. I'm an avid and frequent massage recipient and will never return and would not recommend this office to anyone. I would even go as far as to say it was my worst massage experience in the past year (had one a month)- contacted customer service after and have received no response.The only reason they have 2 stars and not 1 is that the facility itself seemed nice. I've been going here for massages for over a year and have been pleased w service and quality overall. Front desk is always welcoming and facility is clean. Most massages have been great, adjust pressure as requested and find tight spots to release, but sometimes spend more time on back than neck even though I specifically ask for neck at beginning of session. I had one massage that was terrible when my usual therapist wasn't available so I spoke w manager, Stephanie, who was handled the situation very professionally and was able to suggest other therapists to try in future who have been good. I'd suggest telling the scheduler what you want from massage and have them help you find the right match before booking appt. read more

Awesome place!!!!! The ladies here went above and beyond with their customer service. I felt so comfortable and had fun. Such a treat on my day off from work. My massage was so relaxing. I loved their hydro machine!!! I have tried other places like M envy and was tired of being confined by a contract. I really enjoy how I can come and go as a member as I please. I have to give it to the therapist at this location they are pretty amazing, only had one bad experience. The people at the front desk on the other hand are never on the same page. I had a few massages stacked up and asked if I could use them for friends who had bad experiences at this location. The person at the desk said it was fine and I scheduled two different massages for two different friends. The first friend had no problem going in and getting the massage and enjoyed it immensely. The second friend on the other hand went in and they said they could not use my, already paid for massages, that was already scheduled under his name. I paid for that massage out of pocket..... I asked to cancel my membership as I was moving across the country, and for some reason I was not offered the paperwork that must be filled out to cancel this membership. Now I have to get a certified letter and send it to this location. Not only are they NOT going to refund the money I have paid for the last couple of months, I have to pay to get a certified letter and take time out of my life to cancel a membership I thought was already cancelled. This was my first visit here. It was a wonderful experience. The initial new client paperwork was electronic therefore done much more quickly than the typical paperwork needed. Katie, the front desk staff, was extremely welcoming and answered every question that I had. I had a one hour deep tissue massage with Brian. He took a few minutes to ask me questions and turned on the bed heater. Several times during the massage he checked to make sure the pressure was ok and that I was comfortable. The room was very quiet, clean, and professional. After a fantastic massage, I was checked out at the front desk. I was offered an excellent promotion and monthly membership, but was not pressured at all! That was the icing on the cake for me. Nothing ruins a relaxing massage than a hard sell before leaving. Unfortunately their water massage table was down for repair but I look forward to trying it next time. It looks DREAMY. read more
