Place was my favorite for a very long time, very cheap. However once they opened up the other located it all went to garbage. They got rid of the good employees, all there are are weirdos working behind the counter. Update: tried going again and the ginger female was so rude and disrespectful. A customer should not be nicer than the worker. read more

Came in mid-afternoon on a hot September Thursday. Smell of fresh coffee always lifts the welcome, aside from the greetings of staff.The staff were super helpful to my indecisiveness and friendly. I loved this coffee shop! It had a very cute aesthetic, good service and manyyyy good options to choose from. I love flavored/sweet coffee and they had a bunch of variety to make in any type of coffee (late, iced coffee, ect.). They have a ton of options available when it comes to any kind of flavor you could want with your coffee, I opted for their drip with raspberry, which was absolutely delightful. If you don't do your drip right, there's no way you do anything else well, so this is a good sign for my return trip! They offer several teas and an assortment of baked goods to eat as well, if coffee isn't your thing. Staff was very friendly and service was quick to boot. There are a bunch of tables inside and out if you choose to stay awhile, but it is limited and the place seems to fill up pretty quick. Quaint little coffee joint just steps away from the train station. When I visited on a weekend morning, there was a continuous line out the door. With the door always opening it never seemed to get warm inside. I only ordered a regular coffee and found a spot to get some work done while I waited for an event in the area to start. I had wanted to try their sugar-free gingerbread coffee but it appears that's no longer on the menu. The coffee was good, strong and robust. I was definitely eyeing the baked goods behind the counter, hello butterbeer doughnuts?! Wonder how those are. They also sell crafts made by locals. I always got to love on these kinds of places that offer space to others. They have a ton of books and I think I even spied some board games if you want to bring a small group to play. I had multiple recommendations to come here. I happened to be in the area and decided to stop in! It's a bit small inside, but their speedy service makes up for it! There's only a few tables inside and a few outside. I ordered a snowy coconut latte. It had vanilla and coconut flavors. What a wonderful marriage of flavors! Super delicious! They offer so many different flavors of lattes and hot chocolate. I can't wait to come back to try something else. Lots of sugar free syrups are offered as well. Staff was super nice! Taking care of their customers is clearly a priority. Being that I got my latte to go, the barista asked me if I wanted a stopper to keep my coffee hot. I was given a cute little leaf stopper. Saw the Yelp reviews and realized there was an untried non chain coffee shop... whats more fun than trying them out... Mom tried the supposedly awesome decaf.. and found it too strong (Brazilian) and was annoyed I won the decaf vs regular battle. For her... she'd drink caffeine if I'd let her and she just was released from a hospital last week! Mothers! I had a fruit flavored tea, with honey - nothing too complicated and fine. They had some muffins and cinnamon buns etc.. so for the sake of the Yelp readers.. tried one of each. : ) both most excellent though clearly brought in from somewhere. They were yum! Inside there was a good number of people chillin out like at starbucks, and some just waiting to get take out.. the line seemed to grow exponentially when it was my turn.. hmm.. LOL ... I think I had him explain the different coffees, show me the different teas, cut one of the buns, add some honey, and explain the decaf coffee types to mom hhahah The small but growing line was quite pleasant. I used to frequent this place all the time when I lived in town. The original owners did a better job. Stopped in today and the place is dying for new ideas. I recommend the staff gets retrained and takes a trip to Williamsburg and learn from the real hipsters. Today my espresso needed 3 attempts to represent anything close.
