The lady waiting on us disappeared and we had to track her down. The music is awful playing in the background.

Egg whites, spinach, swiss on wheat wrap

I figured if you get blood drawn next door, you probably deserve an egg sandwich. I waited on a long line of kids on lunch from the high school across the street but the line moved fast. The workers behind the counter were friendly and very attentive. I ordered egg whites, spinach, swiss on a wheat wrap. It was fresh and hot. I could have used a little more melted cheese but overall the wrap was good. I would come back to try other stuff on their menu.

It's has a real nice location inside a plaza with options. Lots of parking but the area is busy so your going to have to look. They do offer outdoor seating under some shade besides sitting inside for breakfast or even lunch. Inside they have a large selection of breakfast items you would find at a bagel shop. There are long lines and I would t let that scare you off because they move pretty quick. So I'm going to come back and see how they are second time around. Why.? Because there busy and probably understaff the tables were left dirty so when I went you have a chance of cleaning up your own table. They have a good turn around so be careful because the coffee is extremely hot so let it cool down a bit without the lid. Lastly. I ordered a raisin bagel with cream cheese. From the photo I think you can see one raisin and two slices of bacon. I'm surprised they put that together for me because made me feel like I should have ordered something else or gone somewhere else. But they do have local long term clients who they seem very familiar with so let's see what happens next time.

A dozen of assorted bagels. Made a nice touch to our Christmas breakfast spread

We received a free dozen bagel coupon when we moved. We picked some up on Christmas morning and we really enjoyed the bagels! My absolute favorite was the French toast bagel. The employees were friendly and the place was very clean. They gave no trouble with accepting the coupon. I will definitely be back!

Whole wheat everything bagel toasted with vegetable cream cheese, not that good...

This place is well located in the South Gate Shopping Center. There is an abundance of parking in the private parking lot. Even though you might have to walk a little far to get to your car when's busy at the Center. The Bagel Cafe is located right in the corner on the south east corner of the Shopping Center. The Shopping Center is very nice and well lit so you'll fell safe at night. Outside is nice and clean with the awning standing out in the right ways. The inside isn't as good the seats and tables are way past their functioning days. It must be all of the high school kids beating them up in their lunch periods. They don't need to keep buying new chairs/tables but at least refinish them and put new fabrics on them. The servers are super nice but the food takes awhile. When it does get to you in a very courteous and friendly manor it's not the best. Grab a bagel if your in the area and don't feel like driving around. But if you're already out and about don't go out of your way to come here.

My egg, sausage, & cheese sandwich on a kaiser roll - delicious!
Panda T.

My best friend took me here for breakfast while I was in town for an egg sandwich. It was delicious- everything was made by scratch, the kaiser roll was so fresh. My buddy got one with bacon & sausage. We got a to go carton of cookies, drinks, & snacks - for the both of us it was about $20. L Loved the assortment of bagels & hand mixed cream cheese. Oh & don't forget the huge homemade cookies!! Such a great treat! Be aware that the lines are long & the food is made to order, but it's worth it.

A bagel with an enormous amount of cream cheese with almost little to no LOX

Best bagels on LI hands down! Sandwiches are also great, and have had great experiences with catering with them as well.

Let's start off that this place a MUST STOP spot no matter where you live or visiting on Long Island (It's that good!). The parking lot is small and usually jammed packed but moves quickly. Inside there is a nice sitting area, large beverage area, reach in fridge with a large variety of beverages and pretty stacked chips rack. Once you get to the counter you first pass a very stocked salad bar, then a hot food area, and then a full display of cream cheeses, salads, and deli meats & cheeses (impressive). Once at the order counter you're greeted with a warm "how can I help you" while the hustle by the staff behind the counter is in full effect. While you wait for your order there is a lot of To-Go goodies to go through and add to your order and it's hard not to. I've always said you get what you pay for and here at BG you definitely get every cents worth. The food is delicious and worth the travel and $$. Side not one of the BEST chicken salads I've ever had, my son loves the BEC, and my wife says the specialty cream cheese (cucumber dill) is to die for! Trust me whether breakfast or lunch you wouldn't be disappointing !!!

The place is in a strip mall on Hicksville Rd, pretty close to to Jerusalem Ave. The place is pretty small but clean, and there's usually a decent sized line when I've gone in, around 8am. The line moves quickly as the workers churn through pretty efficiently. There are a few tables that look pretty well maintained where you can dine in. From my experiences, this place does a good job w/ its pricing. I believe bagels are currently in the $1.60 range each, which is a little less than other places I've been. This place also has a few specials, which is great to see. There is a commuter special during the weekdays which is a buttered bagel or roll + coffee / tea for $4.29 + tax from 5am-11am. They also have pretty good prices on egg sandwiches on a bagel. I got one this past weekend (2 eggs on a bagel) and it was $4.61 including tax. It also came with a coffee. Thought that was a solid deal. Their bagels are pretty solid; I wouldn't say they're anything close to the absolute best, but fairly solid for the price. I ordered my egg sandwich w/ pepper and ketchup and it was solid if unspectacular. Overall, I'd give this place 4 stars as they've delivered solid quality and solid prices from what I've experienced. That in itself is quite rare on Long Island these days so gotta give credit where its due.

This is a tiny, cosy, delicious and "beautiful" bagel spot that is appropriately "sandwiched"…read morebetween a beauty parlor and a hair place and busy for all the right reasons. Delicious hand rolled soft bagels. I got an everything bagel sliced and it was superb. Fresh, really tight bagel which was definitely more substantial than what I get elsewhere with the perfect crispy just right crust and a nice chewy interior. The dried garlic and onion, salt, poppy and sesame seeds on top were just the right amount. This was a fantastic bagel. Did not need toasting. The egg salad was dynamite. It had the correct amount of mayonnaise and no egg smell yet tender, soft and creamy chunks in the egg salad. This was a nice change from the usual omelette or scrambled eggs Sammy. The staff is really cool. Young kids who are quick, alert, polite and thankful. The team here was very thorough and precise and repeated my order back to me to ensure accuracy. There was a line of 5 before me and it moved rapidly. There are only 6 seats inside ( 3 small tables) and a high chair for babies. They have a cute display with candy chips, cookies and Nutella packets. The cream cheese and salad cooler looked fantastic and very appetizing. The one thing that struck me immediately was how clean and organized everything was. Very warm and inviting. $1.50 each for the bagel is a very good price. I loved Bagels Santa Fe. I will definitely be back to try everything else.

As soon as you walk in, you're greeted by friendly faces, which sets a warm and welcoming tone. It's a straightforward kind of place, order to go or, if there's a few available seat, enjoy your food right there. The shop is cozy, with just three small tables, each with a couple of chairs. Despite the size, they have a great selection of bagels, various types of butter, cream cheeses, and other spreads. Prices are very reasonable. I ordered a bacon, egg, and cheese on an onion bagel with a medium coffee, and it was just $8. The big open windows at the front make it a comfortable spot to soak up some sunshine, especially on a cold winter day like today. The little shop is kept very clean, and organized which is a huge plus for me! I definitely appreciate that. They also have fresh brewed coffee with a variety of flavored creamers. I love these little spots where you can grab something to eat and enjoy a quiet moment alone. I'll definitely be stopping back in before heading to the airport to pick up some bagels to take home to Florida!
