Best pasta dishes outside of Stefaninas and noto. Cheese bread is also good. Def a good date option

Our first option was closed so we opted for Massa's. The restaurant is on a shopping center so plenty of parking including a lot of handicap and a space to park for pick ups. Once inside an employee came to greet us and told us to sit wherever we wanted. Place has several low tables and lots of bar-high ones. Also, lots of outside tables. They had Christmas music inside and volume was perfect, not so loud but still able to enjoy it. Lots of televisions all around. The decoration was a little weird and did not match one thing to the other. The place was very dark even though we sat by a window and it was 2pm. Our waitress checked with us a few times but we still had to flag her down for refills and a box to go. Ordered lasagna and unfortunately it was not that good. The cajun pasta was good and will order again. The lasagna probably not. The food was hot just the first few bites, after that it was just warm. The place was maybe 25% full. The bar area was empty. Maybe at night its different but it was not my experience today. Bathroom has 2 big chairs to sit and wait I guess. Bathroom was dirty. Chairs in dining area are hard aluminum ones and they have cushions on them that are dirty with food particles, I turned mine upside down. Will probably not come back. read more

This was my first time coming to Massa's. The environment was friendly and vibrant. The Cajun pasta was creamy with the right amount of spice that keeps you digging in for more. Hopefully, my next experience here will during dinner to see more variety within their menu. read more

Slow service - 1990 Ambiance.... Food was marginal at best. Drinks were ok... live music was AWFUL!!!!

We didn't have a wait when we went, although next time i think we will opt to sit on the patio. I had the buffalo chicken sandwich and my wife had a small sausage pizza. My sandwich had a generous portion of nice crisp French fries with it and we shared a dinner salad for our meal. We had enough to take home from our meal to have for the next days lunch. Food was brought to us within a reasonable amount of time. My husband ordered the Cajun pasta - look out, it has plenty of kick. I ordered the white fish - Holey Moley - I'll order this again! A Yuenling for my husband and a glass of Merlot/cab for me. Both very tasty. Chelsea was our server and did a fine job. Ambiance could have been better. The only downer of the evening was the party of 4 next to us. They truly detracted from our dining experience as the two men spoke loud enough to be heard by the dead and the horse laugh of one of the women was over the top. Seriously. I guess even older adults don't know basic etiquette. Wish we'd been seated waaaay far away from them. read more

Came here and ate on the patio on a hot summer night. Very pretty setting next to a lake. Inside had more of a sports bar feel. Food was quite excellent! High quality Italian in a more casual setting. Mussels were very good, and the butternut squash ravioli was some of the best I've ever had. Staff were all very friendly and polite. read more

We went to the Massa's on winghaven, in o'fallon, we waited forever for our pepperoni pizza, when we received it , it was so skimpy, the outside crust was burnt, my husband said to our waiter that it looks overdone. "he said no they all look like that !!! We will never return!! Very sad!! read more

Best Italian restaurant in the area. I was immediately greeted by a friendly host. Had a beautiful dinner for two on the patio. Great ambiance with the lake in the background and lighting around the patio. One of the family members Tony Massa came over and asked about our experience. It felt like I was part of an Italian family. We had the black and blue steak tips with house salad, spinach artichoke dip, and a wonderful seafood mix in a portobello mushroom. read more

Went to Massa's with group of 9 people to eat drink and watch the Blues game on Thursday. They do not have a lot of TV's but we situated ourselves so the group could watch. During the second period they switched the TV to football as they said "others" wanted to watch the football game. We noticed no one else was paying attention to the football game except one other person. It so happened that this was the owner and HE wanted to watch football. Who cares if he has paying customers at his establishment who are not happy about it. We paid our bill and went to another restaurant close by to watch the Blues win and will never be back. Waitress was great and was sorry to have us leave. Vote with your wallet and don't go where you are not welcome and the customer is always right. read more

When ever I visit Wentzville, I usually eat here at Massa's. Once I sat outside but usually sit in the dinning area. If you sit in the bar, it's really loud FYI. The house salad and pizza is my favorite. Great atmosphere and lots of tv's to stay on top of any sport events. read more

Sat on the patio to enjoy the pleasant evening yesterday, only to realize there were smokers nearby, so we moved. Then people were seated and 2 of the men were smoking cigars!! AND the workers, and one of the men from the original table came over and we're all smoking nearby!! Our salads were good, but two of us ordered lasagna and it was COLD. we had to wait while it was redone, they offered NO compensation, they didn't even bring us bread back with our order! Not impressed and will not be back. Detested the smoking! When your order is cold and has to be redone, you should do something to compensate for your mistake. Not acceptable. read more

Bartenders are the best. Best atmosphere in St. Charles. Best patio in the state. I never regret a night spent here.
