Went there with a cracked windshield. After a 3 hour wait, they replaced the windshield but broke my lense on my vehicle than controls the safety features! Currently driving around with a dashboard lit up like a Christmas tree and told they will not be able to get the part till 6/8 which is two weeks after the appointment. They made we sign a waiver to get my car back more broken and more unsafe than when I went there and THEN tried to charge me for new windshield wipers which I said no. I was told the district manager Christine Perry was going to call me back however I have not heard from her and its been over a week. I booked an appointment online and paid in advance. I was leery because they added a $39.99 "disposal fee" at checkout to get rid of the old windshield. This was shady. Safelite then called me the evening before saying they wouldn't be able to make the appointment. Instead of refunding my money, they told me I would need to wait 5-7 days for a refund. That's their policy. I now have to go through my bank to get the refund I'm owed. Disgusting business practices. I do NOT recomment Safelite. read more

I decided to go to Safelite auto glass because I saw their TV commercial. After I scheduled my appointment online. They responded saying that they would come to me on Friday. However they postponed my appt. due to rain until the following Monday. I said to myself that's great since Monday is my MLK day. I could just bring in my car to replace the windshield on their site. I took my vehicle in a little bit early. Appointment is at 11am. I was there at 10:30am. They took my car in at 10:58am. They spent about an hour and 10 minutes to replace my windshield.(seems like normal) I have told them that I would need all my stickers and whatever on my windshield to be attach back on the same spot like I came in. I told them to be really careful before they removed my sticker. The technician told me he would put them back on the same spot. However the stickers were not exactly where it was when I received my car. And some of the stickers were not able to stick on the windshield anymore. I had to ask them to give me extra piece of tape to put my transponder back on the windshield. They also made a mess on my passenger seat when they said they would vacuum my front seat area. I will never go to Safelite auto glass anymore. There are many other better auto windshield replacement companies out there! Don't just believe the TV commercial like I did. read more

Replacement window was prefect and was done quickly. Other then that I was really upset because my car had stain on both front seats (Light gray interior) and I never got glue sealant around the glass. Now I have to buy glue to put it on myself and clean my two front seats! read more

Friday my wife was driving behind a large dump truck and a rock flew up and hit the windshield of our car. It was a small crack but kept getting larger, so I went on the Safelite website and scheduled a windshield replacement for 10am today. I dropped it off, the gentleman at the counter was very friendly and answered all of my questions and told me that the car would be ready by 12:30pm. Sure enough at just about 12 pm I got a text, email, and a phone call confirming that the windshield had been replaced. So my windshield had to be replaced due to an increasing spider web crack. I drove to this location 10/28/16 and walked in to talk to them about a replacement. The lady at the front desk was super nice and got my info to set up a time for someone to come to my work and replace the windshield. I had to call my insurance co to make sure I was covered. They said I wasn't at first but we hashed out a few glitches and they decided to cover it. I felt bed because the woman who took all my info then cleared it from the system but after letting her talk to my insurance co she put it back in and got a truck out to my work the following Monday. Found a Stress Crack on the Windshield of my wife's Car and within a hour I had a appointment all scheduled for Safelite Autoglass to come out to my house and replace the windshield! I was given a broad window of 12-5pm for my Saturday appointment however The Window Tech assigned (John) was in touch with me both via text and phone call at about 8am to let me know he would be arriving to my home at 3pm.. John got right to work on replacing the windshield and did a Great Job all the way around.. John made sure to let me know what to do and not to do with the new windshield installation as well... I am happy I went with Safelite, this whole process was completely effortless on my end! If you need services offered by Safelite I highly recommend them! Horrible experience with Safelite this afternoon, extremely disappointed. Scheduled the appt between 12 and 5, technician showed up at 4:40 pm, took one quick look at the car and refused to replace the windshield citing rust which supposedly caused the windshield to crack. The only issue with this? My car doesn't have any rust on it, even asked John the tech to point out the rust to me, which he was unable to do since there isn't any. It seemed to me he just wanted to get out of work a little earlier today. Wish I hadn't waited around for 5 hours for the technician to refuse to do his job and cite non-existent rust as the cause. Needed windshield replacement due to rock hitting my windshield on highway. I scheduled appointment through online form. They contacted insurance company and sent a tech named Eric to my driveway in Holbrook, MA. Eric waved to me with his mask on and proceeded to remove existing windshield. He then installed new glass with my inspection sticker and even my Jiffy Lube sticker. He was finished in about an hour. The installation and new windshield appear flawless. I waited around all day, the installer showed up 3 hours after he called to say he was coming, had the wrong windshield and told me he would call his manager then just left. I brought my BMW that they said they could repair ( after Allstate recommended to use them ) . They had to order glass , I had to call to see if it was in . I had the windshield replaced, then they told me I had to bring back to BMW to have a program reset ???? Why didn't you tell me before you started. Bring back to BMW and they find a fault in the installation. Wasted another day between Safelite and BMW and get a $250 bill from BMW to do reset. Nightmare. read more

Placed a chipped (New) windshield in, seal uneven, gaps in the seal, cut into the pain on the roof of the vehicle.

I wouldn't even give this a star. Made an appointment 5 days in advanced. They didn't even have the correct windshield to replace my old one. They had all the information for over a week to get the correct parts and didn't get them. Took the day off of work to get this all done and taken care of. Never again will i use them. Terrible experience with Safelite Auto Glass. Made the appointment and was told I had to have the windshield replaced at the Weymouth shop. At the time of the appointment I was told they ordered the wrong windshield. Upon ordering the correct windshield I was told they could do it at my home. So I made an appointment for the next week. They were a no show. I called to inquire and was told they had no record of an appointment. BTW I took off two days from work. I tried calling the shop direct but was told by a recording to go to the website because they weren't accepting telephone calls due to COVID?? Calling my insurance company for another auto glass shop. AWFUL! read more

Customers be warned. Horrible and unreasonable service. I arranged for an appointment through my insurance for a rock chip repair on my windshield. I opted for their mobile service and was told that the earliest appointment I could get was 5 days later. This I was fine with because I wanted the convenience of having them do the fix while I was at work rather then having to bring my car to them. I was given a window of 10a-2:30p for the service to be done. On the day of service, I received a text alert stating that the technician, Steven, is on his way and scheduled to arrive between 10:25a-10:55a. I had stepped away from my phone for a few minutes and when I returned to my phone, saw that Steven had called me at 10:25a and left a voicemail stating that he was at my work parking lot and trying to locate my car. I immediately called Steven back at 10:29a to find that it went straight to his voicemail. While I was in the middle of leaving a voicemail, I get a text at 10:29a stating that my appointment with Safelite had been cancelled! Steven had cancelled my appointment! I then called Steven again at 10:30a and was able to talk to him. I asked if he was still on the property so that I can point my car out to him. He stated that he had already left the property. I asked if he could turn back and he stated no, that he had already alerted his next customer that he was coming to them. I asked if he could come back later and he stated that he couldn't guarantee it. It is very unreasonable for you to expect your customers to respond back in less then 5 minutes before you move on to your next customer. You didn't even give me a chance. I work at a hospital, with multiple and big parking lots. It is impossible for you to try to locate my car in 5 minutes. Being extremely upset, I called my insurance company to complain about Safelite's poor service and to bring my service elsewhere (Glass Technology, much better service). I also called Safelite themself and complained to both their customer service representative and branch manager. Even though both were apologetic, the damage had already been done. My customer experience was so horrible that I will never use or recommend Safelite to anyone. read more

I got my windshield replaced by Safelite in Weymouth. The timing was great because the day after I picked it up, I was moving (driving) to Ohio. When I got my car, it was fine. I made it 1 minute down the road before I turned back because my PRE-COLLISION SYSTEM MALFUNCTION light was on-- my car is new Toyota so it has all the fancy safety features and cameras on the front. When I got back to the shop, the employee had told me "I actually put your new windshield in, don't worry about the light just give it a few days and it should go out" I told him that doesn't seem safe, essentially my pre-collision system would fail should I get in an accident. HOW is that ok??? IF THAT ISNT ENOUGH, he advised me NOT TO GO to Toyota and get it fixed. So was I supposed to drive 12 hours to Ohio the next next with my car having the malfunction light on? I ended up taking it to Toyota and had to pay just under $500 of my own money for a recalibration of the windshield. We reached out to Safelite several times and we got NOWHERE. We got blamed. We were told the manager would call back (after 3 previous attempt to reach them) but no, we've got no calls STILL. No matter what was said, no help or refund was offered. I just don't get it. Why am I going broke because safelite fucked up and tried to brush it under the rug???? THAT IS MY SAFETY that was put on the line because of careless people. This isn't over until it's over Safelite, own up to your mistakes this is disgusting and disrespectful. read more

What happened? We take a vehicle to you for door glass that was scratched, and when the vehicle was picked up....the new glass is scratched! Your answer : "Well it's glass. It does scratch". Don't give me that. Customer satisfaction over excuses. Looked like someone was in a rush. Floors weren't vacuumed. Honestly you all need to take some happy pills. From the minute we took the vehicle there, it was like you did not want to be bothered. Inspect the job after its done. Vacuuming is part of the service is it not? If you care about your car, do not let Safelite touch it. They messed up the original installation by bringing after market glass that did not fit and tried to go a week without fixing it, after already disconnecting everything and taking my windshield off. When they came back to fix it I was told that my re-calibration would need to be done by the dealership and paid out of pocket, an expense that was NEVER pre-discussed with me...I was basically told by the reps that I spoke to on the phone that it was not their problem. They also chipped a section of the paint on my new car. Safelite refuses to take any responsibility and could not even respond to a complaint made on the BBB. On multiple occasions I requested a call from management, and I have not received one phone call from anyone to have a conversation about making this right. I will note that the technician who attempted my repair was nice, but that does not make up for the experience I have had with them. It has been just about 6 months since this mess and now my windshield is cracked AGAIN after simply being sprayed with a hose lightly to clear pollen from the car. I trusted Safelite with my car and now I have had endless problems that they have washed their hands of, bad business practice and horrible customer service. Cuz they sent me the wrong address to me , that's why I couldn't found the store forever , so after that I tried to call for asked the current address , finally when someone picked up the phone who was working there , the attitude was so badddd ...i was so nice to asked the currently address , but the guy was like it's not my businesses to send u address or whatever ? Finally when I got there was late , the guys comes out talks to me ,he said u late I can't do it for u , the attitude was bad like shits , I was mad too , I knew I was late , but who made me late ? Cuz your company sent me the wrong address, I didn't blame on anyone, but the problems is u have to tell me what can I do ? Like rescheduled or something I can do right ? But it's not , he was like u can go some stores who can do windshield for u ? Very pleased with their service. I scheduled an appointment online to replace my cracked windshield, got a confirmation email immediately. The day before the appointment they sent a reminder email and text, which I liked. The woman at the front desk was very friendly and they took my car in right away then called me when my car was ready. The pick up was quick. I was pleased that they flawlessly put my stickers (inspection, service reminder, Lyft driver logo) back on the windshield. They left my EZ Pass transponder in the cup holder with new adhesives ready for reattaching. I would definitely use them again and recommend them to others. read more

Fast, efficient, professional service. Took care of insurance claim, they came to me and fixed my broken driver side window in less than an hour, and removed all the shattered glass from inside the car, inside the door, and around the outside of the car. Window broke due to either a rock being thrown by a lawnmower, or hot air, which they said is common. I would most definitely call them again. I used Giant for years and the last time the guy didn't hook up my windshield heater or hook my glove compartment right. there was dirt all on the inside where he stood to do the job. Sent an email to to the home office, a guy who sounded like a 2 pack a day smoker called me back and said he was the mangr. said sorry the "guy was new!!! new ??? that's it???
