I had a Jeep gladiator that was tricked out with lots of Offroad equipment that was in a rear end collision. I didn't think they were going to be able to get it all off but my car came back looking brand new! I was so impressed with the work they did. Was rare ended, had to file and insurance claim to get my vehicle fixed. A little unsettled taking my vehicle over to them to be fixed but my uncle highly recommended I take my vehicle here. "One of the best auto body shop in Brockton" The did a phenomenal job not a scratch ding on site. Wiped down the car inside and out. My only concern was driving up to my vehicle the day of pickup my vehicle was the only one with the window wide open with no one in site. read more

I am very impressed with this auto body shop. They had my Jeep for only 4 days. They polished my Jeep and vacuumed it. I would expect most auto body shops would do this however, another auto body shop I used previously did none of this and had my former car for 2 weeks for something pretty easy. The only thing I didn't like is they don't accept credit cards, which seems very odd. They are very polite and professional. I would highly recommend this body shop. I am very surprised that this auto body has such good reviews. When I needed accurate, straightforward information, a man working there lied--don't care to remember his name. I confronted him, and he did not want to own it. When I expressed my disapproval, demanded my car be removed, and towed from their lot because I was not happy with their customer service, I found a condom package in the trunk. I guess someone there didn't need it. read more

So my wife bumped into a deer with my Ford Explorer (don't worry, the deer is fine), and the front-right corner of my car got banged-up pretty good. The headlamp was broken and hanging loose, and the frames around it were all cracked in some fashion. Fortunately, the interior of my car was fine. I took it to the Ford dealership's associated auto collision center, and they told me it was totalled - over $3,200 of repairs. It also wasn't covered by my non-comprehensive insurance. BUMMER. Then I heard about Modern Autobody, how they do a good job of fixing cars at reasonable prices. I work full-time, so I coldn't make it during their store hours (close at 5), but someone stayed a bit past closing to look at my car. He took a look, showed me what parts were needed and what painting needed to be done, and gave me an estimate of $700. I left the car there, and within three days the car was fixed. It was fixed perfectly- The only remnants of the accident are some bumps on the lower part of the frame, that he let me know would still be there ahead of time. They communicated often, and even though the cost went above $700, that's what they charged me, since that was the initial quote. They even did a thorough cleaning of the car, vacuuming and washing, etc. The car looks better than before the accident! I had an excellent experience there, and highly recommend this place to anyone needing auto-body repairs. read more

My 2012 Camaro got rear ended before the fourth of July weekend, being my first car needless to say i was very upset about it. I had heard that Modern was the best and sent my baby in to get fixed. The rumors are true, Modern is in fact the best. The staff is extremely helpful; they had set up a rental which was waiting for me when i got there, easy in and easy out. In a couple days my car was done and when i went to pick it up Modern had truly lived up to my expectations. Not only was their work perfect, but my car was cleaned and looked even better than when I drove it off the lot. Although there were many other Auto-Body places closer to where I live, I will gladly make the trip to Brockton for all of my future work and recommend others to do so as well. Do not take the easy way out and pick the local shop to hack job your car. Go with the best, which is hands down Modern Auto-Body. You will not regret it. read more

I thought I wrote a review a year ago when I first had modern auto body work on my car while I was recovering from surgery not only were they very nice but my car looks 10 times better than it did when I went in there and I'm not just talking about what needed to be fixed. And that was my first interaction with modern auto body The second time I went back there I noticed my headlight was slightly off centered and I brought it to modern auto body and ask them what I can do about it and the man that was sitting in the front office came out and looked at it and said that's no problem at all and asked when I could drop it off! Dropped the Durango off on Monday, and it was finished the next monday. the whole drivers side had to be replaced. I think this was a reasonable amount of time. I was contacted mid week and informed when to expect to pick up. Michelle was very nice and takes care of everything. They even took care of the rental. When it was finished it looked brand new even detailed inside and out. I have been to other auto body shops and their service and attitude were only average and that's a stretch. Modern auto body has the professionalism, and excellent customer service. Hopefully I will never need them again, but if I do I won't be disappointed. read more

Someone crashed into me a week ago. After working with my insurance company I picked Modern Autobody to do the body work on my Mercedes C300. They were available to tow my car from my house that afternoon while I was at work. They were also able to restore my car within a week! This was surprising especially since it was the week before Christmas! My car looks amazing, inside and out. (They did an amazing detail job on the interior of my car) and its driving as it should be. Overall, the entire process was very smooth and simple from start to finish! Modern did all the communicating with my insurance company, I simply received calls on the status of my repairs. I have had moden fix my repairs twice this year. My car 1st got hit and smashed the door then months later smashed the bumper in. They had a young girl who was supposed to be keeping me "updated" on my car. She was disrespectful and had a rude tone. I don't know how she is still working there. The front end of my 2011 F350 looked like it was hit by a bulldozer. The bumper was pushed right to the front wheels. The giant plastic grill was shattered into a million pieces. The 4 or 5 radiators crammed behind the grill were all crushed as well as the large metal bracket holding them in place. I was pretty sure it was never going to drive or look the same again. The truck was towed to Canton, MA. I "yelped" auto body shops. Modern Auto Body in Brockton had 5 stars and lots of enthusiastic positive reviews. I called and spoke to Scott who took care of me from the first day to the last. Scott was awesome and I'm sure all his fellow service folks are too. On the way over to pick up my truck the rental car person who dropped me off mentioned I chose well with Modern. He said that's "...where we send all our cars." He was so right! I was stunned when I got there and my truck was out in front of their office looking just as it did almost 5 years ago when I bought it. They didn't just fix it, they did a brilliant job. They cleaned the entire truck inside and out, a really thorough job. It literally looks like a new truck. Most importantly, it drives perfectly. Lastly, it was done when they said it would be.
